Aly L 01/13/2025 It’s still cute! In my eyes it feels a bit soapier and preachier, less dynamic than the first season, but I think this might signify the transition to the sadder world we are in now. Not sure about Lena (Piet’s girlfriend) — she is a bit annoying. But Piet himself also makes you raise your brow with his ever so brilliant communication skills :,D Yet, he is still a good and kind man at heart. His friends ARE lucky to have him. And he is still there browsing Amsterdam’s bridges and solving crimes with his trusty bud and soul sister Lucienne! See more John M 08/27/2022 enjoyed the first episode of the new series but felt it hadn't quite found its way. Connection with the characters seemed to lack spontaneity and the plot was fair but not necessarily totally convincing. The second instalment was far more involving with regard to storyline and an affinity to the protagonists provided a considerable enticement to watch the next episode. For me the final episode was outstanding. The subject matter was challenging and I found myself on edge and engrossed. Surely good enough to commission a third series I hope.
