And disappointed in the ridiculous gymnastics they go thru with the plots & characters. See more David Z @RT91263418 05/23/2023 Given that the show is aired from 9:30-11:00 p.m. in Milwaukee, my wife never gets past 10:30. However, the thing I love about Vera is that you never find out who the murderer is until the last 5 minutes of the show during which Vera quietly says, "I think you understand why I'm going to have to take you in"! No wrestling to the ground. No shooting. No ridiculous car chases. Just the inevitable charge and resignation. And my wife misses it all! But I love it. Comic as it may be, it's such a refreshing alternative to American detective shows that I celebrate the opportunity to experience something more "real" than American "real". See more Read all reviews
