News & Interviews for Waffles + Mochi: Season 1
This is all captivating for both adults and kids. My six-year-old son, with literally zero cajoling, agreed to serve as co-critic with me in watching all 10 episodes. He loved it. LOVED IT.
Think "Sesame Street," "The Muppets," "Chef's Table," "The Lego Movie," "Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?" and more all rolled into one. The fun facts come hard and fast.
It's fine, all this. I suppose small kids will like it well enough, if they have the sort of parents who will force them to watch it.
Waffles + Mochi has given me something I haven't felt in a long time, especially during this lonely stretch of pandemic: hope.
Waffles + Mochi doesn't lay on the life lessons excessively and Obama is relaxed, and agreeably deadpan, in her interactions with her furry co-stars.
This well-done childrens' show is better than any dumbed-down E/I show I've ever seen, and will arguably do more to change people's eating habits than anything the USDA thinks it can do.
Waffles + Mochi is a fantastic, non-preachy way to get kids excited about healthy food.
Waffles + Mochi delivers a lot of yum and a lot of fun to kids of all ages.
Not only is Waffles + Mochi too adorable by half, but it may spark your kids' interest in fresh food.
Audience Reviews for Waffles + Mochi: Season 1
Apr 25, 2021It's an educational series for kids to teach the importance of eating healthily through two fun characters, Waffles and Mochi together with the colaboration of Michele Obama. I'm an adult, but I've really enjoyed it like a two-year-old!
