A crime drama that takes place in the latter half of the 19th century during brutal gang wars in San Francisco's Chinatown, it follows martial arts prodigy Ah Sahm, a Chinese immigrant who arrives in the City of Lights under mysterious circumstances. Once he proves his prowess as a fighter, Sahm becomes a hit man for one of Chinatown's most powerful organized crime families. As he is mentored by the son of the crime family's leader, learning the ins and outs of gang warfare, Al Sahm wins the confidence of brothel madam Ah Toy, eventually revealing to her his true intentions. "Warrior" is based on the writings of martial arts legend Bruce Lee and features a largely Asian cast.

It all feels reassuringly familiar, including the creative team’s understanding of what the audience most wants to see: impeccably choreographed fights, and plenty of them... As always, the action is crisp, clear, and thrilling. Go to Full Review

Exploring systemic racism and the Chinese immigrant experience with some of the most exhilarating action sequences on television, Warrior continues to pack a punch. Here’s hoping Warrior’s Season 4 renewal is a matter of when, not if. Go to Full Review

Warrior continues to set a standard for Westerns and action on television. Capturing revenge with consequence and action with emotion is what makes the series gold, and this season in particular, intimately grand. Go to Full Review

Leo O @LeoObermyer Jan 6 Fantastic series but terrible cinematography in the third season as everything looks too dark. Story is great and could easily be continued ! See more Jeff N Jun 10 started watching june 1, 2025 and am already on season 3. excellent show I sure wish there was a season 4! See more Benjamin H Jun 9 Some of the romantic elements could have been managed smoother which also does affect some of the plotting at times, but Warrior Season 3 continues to be a stylish, well acted and narratively captivating season of television with loads of subtext and emotion within and in-between all the exhilarating action. See more Slick R @SlickReviewer Jun 9 People out here don't realize just how elite the fight choreography is on this show. Especially with the swords. The only other show that rivals Warrior with the fighting choreo was "Into The Badlands" which was on AMC channel. All these kids nowadays would rather watch their lame Star Wars series with the worst fighting ever. It's like Disney refused to hire the best sword/light saber choreographers for each of their $400 million budget series. And yes, I am saying that Warrior fight scenes blow away any fight sequences in any Star Wars movie or series, and even better than big budget franchises like John Wick and Jason Statham movies. It's rare that you get a show like Warrior where every single actor on the show fights at an elite level, or at least the camera angles make it seem that way... Regarding the story line it's a little cheesy but I am a huge Andrew Koji and Hoon Lee fan, and the elite fighting more than makes up for it IMO. See more Russell A @Rallen117 Apr 25 Easily one of the best shows put out in a long time. It’s a crime that Maxs canceled it after 3 seasons. How was it not popular enough compared to the other crap that gets put out? People really suck. See more Md O Apr 5 Alright, having seen "Warrior," I can confidently say it's a knockout. The action alone is worth the price of admission – seriously some of the best fight choreography on television. Andrew Koji is fantastic as Ah Sahm, bringing both intensity and vulnerability to the role. But it's not just about the brawls; the show dives deep into the complexities of the Tong wars and the harsh realities of 19th-century Chinatown. The characters are all fascinating, with their own shades of grey and compelling motivations. Season 3 kept that momentum going, deepening the stakes and exploring the consequences of past actions. It's a gritty, stylish, and surprisingly smart show that I highly recommend if you're looking for something with both brains and serious brawn. See more Read all reviews
