In "Welcome to Wrexham," Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds learn to run the third oldest professional football club in the world. In 2020, Rob and Ryan team up to purchase the fifth tier Red Dragons in the hope of turning Wrexham AFC into an underdog story the whole world can root for, but the concern is that neither have any experience in football or working with each other. From Hollywood to Wales, from the pitch to the locker room, and the front office to the pub, the docuseries will track Rob and Ryan's crash course in football club ownership and the inextricably connected fates of a team and a town counting on two actors to bring some serious hope and change to a community that could use it.

After watching “…Wrexham” I will never again look down my nose at the small-town folk who live for Friday night high school football. Now I get it. Go to Full Review

Welcome to Wrexham remains a brilliant watch, and the remarkable story of what McElhenney and Reynolds have done with the club hasn’t lost any of its luster. There are pitfalls galore here, but they sidestep them with great artistic agility. Go to Full Review

Ed R @JustcallmeER May 24 This season dragged on a bit but fun to see the team get promoted. See more Alejandro R May 21 Excellent docu-series - both for football lovers and people who just like good TV. See more General P 09/24/2024 This is a review for the past three seasons. My care for soccer as an American has grown over the years, coinciding with this show. I am an Arsenal fan (go Gunners), and I have been trying to be respectful of the sport and take my time to learn it. Watching this show has given me an amazing glimpse into the world of soccer over there. To think I would be screaming at my TV about a team that was at one point the equivalent of a Arena Football team in America, hoping and praying that they keep on moving up. I've been moved by the players, by the town, by the true love being shown to the community. It's a TV show, so undoubtedly there are issues not being addressed with the show, but man it has been a ride to watch and I've loved every second of it. See more Gareth v @geewah 09/02/2024 Not much has changed with the format of this sports docuseries and that is only a good thing. As always the strength lies in the town and it's people as much as the football team. See more matthias s @Thescreenasvor 06/25/2024 "Welcome to Wrexham" Season 3 is a delightful mix of heart, humor, and football. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's investment in Wrexham AFC continues to shine as they navigate the challenges of turning the club's fortunes around. The season excels in showcasing the passion of the community, the players' dedication, and the owners' endearing journey. Even if you’re not a football fan, the authentic human stories and genuine camaraderie will keep you hooked. It’s 75% heartwarming and 100% entertaining. See more Matt a 06/17/2024 I guess if you’re really like soccer, and annoying well trodden jokes about the difference between soccer and American sports.. this is for you. I think this is a monumental waste of my time. Do something productive instead of watching this. See more Read all reviews
