Internationally renowned DJ and producer Diplo can bring 60,000 people to their feet with his music, but he doesn't do well when talking to someone face to face. James Van Der Beek stars as a fictional version of the Grammy-winning DJ in this comedy series, which presents a collection of parables about life as told through the eyes of Diplo, who believes that nobody is perfect, but as long as you're still in the game, you have a chance to get it right. Diplo -- the real one -- serves as an executive producer on the series.

05/19/2020 Wish this show would've gotten the numbers it deserved. See more 09/02/2017 Wow...a five episode season...first season...that's crazy, and that's kind of bold. I love it! Anyways, this is one of my favorite shows! Maybe of all time, but I'd have to see more (episodes or seasons, it doesn't really matter. Either way!) James Van Der Beek was the lead actor, playing Diplo, he also solely wrote the entire series, by himself, and was the showrunner/runner of the show! He's created something great, and I think it's his first time doing everything I mentioned that he did, except the acting part obviously! Great for a first time, and even for a not a first time one! I'm really impressed with this show, and was really surprised at how much I liked it! Maybe just a little surprised. The pilot is almost complete perfection! (Just a few minor problems, and I don't think it really has too much re-watchability value.!) The second and third episodes are good, not great though. The fourth and fifth are also excellent and outstanding, like the first episode! It all rounded out to a series that I'm really hoping get's/gets renewed, and if it does, I'm extremely excited for the next season! It's also pretty well directed, by the same guy for the whole season! It's also pretty funny, sometimes. Especially James Van Der Beek, his performance was top notch, outstanding! It's also very well shot, the entire season! Also, I love that there was at least one actual EDM artist in the show, even if he wasn't playing himself! (He gave a great performance, and I think it's his first time acting as well! Tons of first timers here in this show!) Also, the real Diplo/Wesley Pentz was a consultant, but I'm not sure how much exactly that he was involved in the show! There's after credits scenes for at least the last three episodes, but I'm not sure about the first two. I'd just check them all/stay through the credits of them all! See more Read all reviews
