As with Netflix’s outstanding recent mystery Dept. Q, little here is radical in outline. But this genre piece’s detail and specificity – whether geographic, logistical, or familial – is immersive without becoming overwrought. Go to Full Review

[When No One Sees Us] is one of the best [series] that the [crime] genre has produced in streaming this year, without great innovations, but with commendable precision in the development of the mystery facing the viewer. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

The series easily gets us hooked, precisely because of the pleasure of encountering something different...and it sparks curiosity, especially due to the plot that connects several mysteries. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

While the show has some female gaze and flirts with compelling ideas, it turns out to be a half-baked detective drama that fails to leave a strong impression. Go to Full Review

While one of the plot points is predictable and obvious, the show still maintains some hidden intrigue that should offer surprising reveals. Go to Full Review

Contra C @contra-costa Aug 25 There are many beautiful moments in this immersive and entertaining show, but there are also some intensely disturbing scenes. You'll appreciate the intense realism, strongly realized female characters, and rich cultural milieu, but a few things will require suspension of disbelief and some patience with predictability and pacing. Overall definitely worth watching. But be prepared: the final 2 episodes have some shocking moments. I loved how the story keeps you guessing at every turn — just when you think you’ve figured things out, something unexpected happens. One of the things I appreciated most was the presence of strong female characters. They’re complex, powerful, and deeply human, which made the show even more compelling. Their stories felt real and added so much depth to the plot. The atmosphere is dark and intense, and the cinematography enhances the feeling that something is always lurking beneath the surface. It’s not just a mystery series — it’s a reflection on power, silence, and who gets to be heard. Overall, When No One Sees Us is a must-watch. It’s emotional, smart, and beautifully acted. I couldn’t stop watching it. See more raul R @RT21935511 Mar 18 I got totally hooked up on the first 5 minutes on episode 1. Suicide by Hara Kiri on Palm Sunday the Prelude to Holy Week (Semana Santa) , is it gonna be a death every day of the Holy Week? Is it a deranged killer with religious zealotry? The sub plots, the teacher, was he having intimate relationships with the students? How's the young drug dealer involved in the scheme? Why is his brother missing? What is the connection if there one? Like I said, am hooked up. I just hope it is at least 8 episodes long. See more Read all reviews
