News & Interviews for Who Killed Sara?: Season 1
The series progresses with remarkable fluidity, supported by a constant bet on the surefire tropes of the telenovela. [Full Review in Spanish]
Subscription television has allowed Mexican soap operas to thrive in their expanded themes and this series is luxurious and liberal. [Full Review in Spanish]
An entertaining thriller with the soul of a telenovela that mixes mystery, drama and eroticism. [Full Review in Spanish]
Sometimes a murder mystery is just a set-up for a good, old fashioned family melodrama. That's certainly the case for Who Killed Sara?
A passable revenge thriller with barely enough to set it apart from the rest...
Has a few logic problems, but its overall vibe is energetic enough, with good performances, to keep viewers' attention.
Audience Reviews for Who Killed Sara?: Season 1
14h agoI definitely loved it, it was intense, well thought out and seen from all different angles, but sometimes it was frustrating how they'd leave one question represented near the beginning not touched on until many episodes later and it certainly had too many explicit scenes for my taste. Overall it's still most absolutely worth watching and I'm looking forward to another season with joy and excitement!
1d agoIt's pretty terrible. Hugely over dramatic with gaping continuity errors and plotholes.
2d agoThere are loopholes and a lot of pandering. Basically female targetted soft porn with a bit of story here and there.
3d agoI'm two episodes in and already this show is bothering me. 1) Guy gets out of jail, gets a buttload of cash to get his revenge and doesn't buy any guns or armor? WTF? He's going up against what appears to be one of the most powerful families in Mexico and doesn't think to get any protection.. Ridiculous 2) A flashback scene to 2001 shows the mother using a smartphone that appears to be from 2025... The potholes in general are too much to ignore here. Who wrote this crap?
6d agoThis show could have been done with half the episodes. The acting is uneven and it tries to be smart by throwing an unexpected twist at the end to force a second season. I thought that the final twist was kind of silly, not interested in watching another season.
6d agoHorrible todo, no me gusto.
Apr 14, 2021Who Killed Sara? Has an unrealistic way to tell a story, with good performances, a convoluted plot and gratuitous and nonsensical nudity.
Apr 12, 2021Algunas actuaciones son malas. La narrativa no es la mejor
Apr 11, 2021Great suspense and twists
Apr 11, 2021Just a great ride of entertainment. It's just a soap opera updated.
