It's a great reminder of how funny, and how good, this show once was - and, surprisingly, still can be.

The urgency and purpose of the original is gone, but there are four ace comedians batting around piercing one-liners, along with more "Designing Women" jokes than you ever bargained for.

The cast proves itself to be as energetic, opinionated, and hysterical as ever.

What was once the groundbreaking decision just to center on gay characters with full lives no longer makes the show feel fresh; if anything, it faces the challenge of overcoming its own bad habits.

Will and Grace are Sisyphean sitcom figures, rolling the rock for romantic love, only to wake up at the end of every story arc back at the bottom of the mountain, making pop culture jokes with their besties instead.

Will & Grace has always excelled just as much at physical comedy as the snarky verbal barbs. And it's one more good reason to welcome this beloved sitcom back into our lives.

If you were a fan of the show original Will & Grace then you will find plenty to love about this revival. The cast is still phenomenal and the writing is still sharp.

From the opening moments, sitting down to watch the rebooted series is like wriggling into an old pair of sweatpants.

As you'd expect, the political commentary is on point, savage and funny as hell.

Aug 29, 2018 | Rating: A | Full Review…

Will and Grace and Jack and Karen are sitcom escapism, complete with laugh track. It's comforting, bland tapioca pudding. I hate myself a little for saying this, but it's nostalgia done absolutely right -- and it's really not that bad.

My main problem with this reincarnation, as with the original show, is that the zippy one-liners are clever without being really funny.
