Instead, Wrestlers is padded with clips of its stars sitting in meetings or completing mundane tasks like counting money from a cash register; hour-long episodes easily could have been 30 minutes. Go to Full Review

kiriyama1 11/01/2024 An incredible look behind the curtain of professional wrestling. Wrestlers really highlights the fact that often what you don't see in the ring is actually the most interesting and most important part of this industry. As a lifelong fan of professional wrestling this felt like a love letter to the passion, dedication and hard work of those that bring this incredibly dividing form of entertainment to our screens, whilst highlighting the struggles, relationships and in some cases very real demons that these often remarkable people face. See more D S 12/21/2023 This series was unlike anything I can remember ever seeing, it wasn't really a documentary or a reality show, in the sense that I normally think of. It kept my interest every moment and it normally takes an action movie to do that. As strange as it may sound, it actually made me laugh and cry. I felt I got to know so many of these wrestlers, and have finally understood that although the matches may be scripted the skill and dedication that it takes to do this is remarkable. I hope this program revitalizes Ohio Valley Wrestling and other regional wrestling organizations for the great entertainment value they hold. I remember growing up in Western Pennsylvania and watching "Studio Wrestling" with Bill Cardilli and Pie Taylor on the local Pittsburgh TV station 11 every Saturday. This series weaves, those childhood memories and today's Ohio Valley Wrestling into a marvelous tapestry for me! What can I say? I absolutely loved this series. See more Gene M 09/25/2023 This show has so much heart and the people on the show are so compelling! Even non-wrestling fans will love Wrestlers. See more Kyle S 09/23/2023 This is a show of emotions that is beautifully shot for the viewer to feel them just like the cast does. You will feel them all by the end of this. This is a show of the internal struggle to succeed no matter what demons you may face. With such amazing angles of videography and in-depth dives into the lives of the characters it will keep you viewing until the final glorious ending. This show is a must watch. See more Emma M 09/23/2023 Incredibly well-produced, and every story presented to the audience is compelling. An excellent pick for documentary fans. See more Alejandro C 09/22/2023 This show is pure heart and pure emotion. Even people not interested in Wrestling will love it because it focuses not on technicalities but on human stories. You have everything in there: the talented and young rebellious girl, the old school guy with a heart of gold, the ambitious and at the same time humbled workaholic athlete, the self-destructive man trying to focus his life, the corporate type guy that only sees money and over all of then, Al Snow, a retired star of WWE, now focusing on creating new opportunities for his crew and trying to maintain this "little engine that could" afloat.
