The show’s animation is just gorgeous. The colours, the movement, the details–they added to the immersive experience of the story. The characterizations were stellar–characters who hadn’t been given their due came alive here.

Series is ok, but does not have the feel of the original series I enjoyed growing up. Horrible animation. Nice to hear some of the original voices.

I haven't even seen the original series but I already love all of these characters. I think that having high stakes and some dark moments and also colourful scenes and shiny visuals brought such vibes to this show.

Everything about this show was so good. My favorite Episode was episode 3. I love being introduced to Madelyn Pryor and was sad that she was killed off. I would have loved to see more of her still being under the influence of mister sinister but at least I got to know her story. Another thing I would have loved would be more episodes :( I do really like the team dynamic and chemistry, especially Storm and Jean’s sister relationship but more episodes with those characters = more time with those characters to love them even more and get attached. That’s why shows with 16+ episodes hit harder than a show with 8 episodes for an example. Overall I really liked the show and would love to see more.
