syed zuhair A @RT24180453 1d X-Men '97* Season 2 is another triumph for Marvel Animation. It delivers stunning animation emotional storytelling and an excellent adaptation of Apocalypse. It builds on Season 1 with bigger stakes stronger character development and thrilling action. It proves the series remains one of Marvel's best projects. See more Unt R @RT44552373 3d Season 2 so far (only 2 episodes left) has a been a monumental drop in quality to the prior season. There are no stakes. Everything that happens is reversed in a couple episodes. The quality well-written dialogue and classic X-Men soap-opera scenes from episodes like "Remember It" seems like it's now gone. That was what made the original 1992 show so iconic. I think the season 1 showrunner deMayo leaving may have really damaged the show. The writing quality is now approaching the modern Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Fox X-Men movies in the worst way possible. The fact they want to move this show to be a season a year will probably damage it further. They should look at the Into The Spider-Verse and Across The Spider-Verse in how they should take time to make something great. Instead they're moving towards rushing things and making a large amount of junk. I still like the show and am an X-Men superfan. But it currently sucks and I hope more people realize this. The writing team and the composers delivered something truly special this season. That epic score paired with genuine, high-stakes storytelling feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s so refreshing to see real creativity injected back into the Marvel universe. Can we please talk about the jaw dropping moments? EPIC delivery. 10/10. The first three episodes are awesome. Cable has his own team, the X-Force. The X-Force should have a spin-off TV series. Wolverine gets his adamantium claws back. There are a lot of easter eggs in season 2. Wolverine has a clone-daughter, X-23. She will make her debut series later. And Marvel, bring back Spider-Man TAS, a sequel to Spider-Man '98. Also, bring back Fantastic Four TAS, a sequel to Fantastic Four '96.
