The actors deserve better, the audience deserves better, and, above all, fans of K-Dramas who long to see themselves represented on-screen, deserve better. Go to Full Review

I was shaking my fist at the bad (and often repetitive) choices its teen characters were making. And yet, Anna Cathcart’s undeniable Kitty Song Covey and her chemistry with Sang Heon Lee’s irresistible Min Ho Moon make for a great binge. Go to Full Review

Season 3 takes several confusing pivots for the sake of spicing up the storyline and manufacturing issues. Go to Full Review

XO, Kitty is in its “well-oiled machine” phase, with characters we want to follow, a lead that continues to put in a magnetic performance, and a feeling that the show’s writers have settled on the storylines they want to follow the most. Go to Full Review

...the wholesome, tropey goodness of the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before universe somehow just never fades. Season three of XO, Kitty revels in this, and makes for an eminently watchable binge fest. Go to Full Review

Considering how much more material Kitty and Min Ho get, it is surprising how their romance falls flat once they are actually together. Go to Full Review

s S @sssd123 May 2 Best season yet. Those characthers are growing up, it's good to see them thinking about the future too. Kitty and Minho chemistry is still top tier, and I hope if there's more content in the future we can see them actually being just happy. See more Priscilla T @priscillatanner Apr 27 My impression is that S1 was written by one person, then handed off to someone else in S2 and in S3 to someone who hadn’t even watched the first two. The lack of continuity is glaring, characters feel out of place and no one seems to really know what they’re doing, given the level of disconnection and the lack of logic in so many plot twists that feel designed more to shock than anything else. What worked so well in S1 is now done haphazardly… and don’t even get me started on the parallels. I’m actually glad TATBILB only has three movies, because I’m pretty sure there are no more Peter Kavinsky/Lara Jean scenes left for them to copy… See more Bitsy B @bitsybraynt Apr 27 Whoa, Netflix really outdid itself this time! They had the lesbian character cheat on her girlfriend in the previous season, and then the girlfriend who was cheated on ended up cheating on her new girlfriend with that same ex…I honestly don’t even know what to say. And all of this because they’re incapable of having the guts to make the protagonist canonically bisexual, sit down and actually talk about it with her best friend (the one she kissed, and they both pretend it never happened). Kitty just keeps jumping from one relationship to another, obsessed with finding someone perfect who will never make mistakes (spoiler: that person doesn’t exist). But wait: now, out of absolutely nowhere, Min Ho is suddenly all that and much more! Magically, he’s loved, idolized and adored by everyone, and every character’s mission is to get him together with Kitty, as if they had nothing better to do. Disappointing. See more Olga G @OlgaGroch Apr 25 And Chuck Bass wins again! See more Ramona Q @thequeenramona Apr 25 So Yuri cheated on Juliana for nothing? What was the point of Kitty’s "bisexual awakening" if Jenny Han just gave us more of the same? Once again, LGBTQ+ couples are pushed aside while a favored straight couple gets the endgame. I don’t know why I thought Jenny Han would do something different… of course the protagonist ends up choosing the reformed bad-boy heartthrob. See more Pam W @pamelawalker Apr 25 Season 3 treats its queer storyline like an afterthought. While straight romances get space to breathe, evolve, and be taken seriously, Kitty and Yuri’s relationship is sidelined and never fully explored. Their feelings are hinted at, fragmented, and ultimately dismissed, making what should have been an emotionally rich arc feel shallow and incomplete. It’s frustrating not because of who ends up together, but because the show fails to treat this love as equally real or important. S3 struggles with narrative priorities, especially in its handling of queer representation. While multiple storylines feel rushed overall, the Kitty-Yuri dynamic is the most affected: underwritten, underexplored, and ultimately sidelined. The lack of meaningful interaction between them weakens what could have been one of the show’s most compelling arcs, highlighting an imbalance in how relationships are developed and valued. I mean, Yuri was Kitty's bi awakening and ????? See more Read all reviews
