10/13/2018 This is a fantastic, no holds barred send up of Korean K-Pop industry. While much has been made about some of the controversial aspects of the show, it's tame and even quaint by American standards. For fans of BigBang, we've seen Seungri's comedic talents spread across many variety shows over the years. YG Future Strategy Office gives him the perfect stage for his crazy antics and wildest ideas. For long-time followers of K-Pop and the K-Pop industry, it's comforting to know that the celebrities and the industry have matured to the point where it can poke fun of itself in harsh and hilarious ways with no sacred cow spared. The show also has a parade of superstars who are willing to do anything for a laugh. Members of Blackpink recoiling from tattooed goons to Apink's Son Na-Eun taking a golf club to Seungri's face are fall-down funny and in good humor. A key to enjoying this show is to not read too much into it: this is a mockumentary, not a documentary. If you think Rick Gervais's "The Office," you'll be in the right mood.
