a person who, because of shyness, unpopularity, or lack of apartner, remains at the side at a party or dance.
Notice: I have not read the book, and this review is purely based on this wondrous film, and dear my friend I'll be reading it very soon.
On March 21,2012 I Was watching The Hunger Games with my bestfriend, and it was outstanding, probably one of the most stylish and creative and of my favorite adaptation since 1991's The Silence of The Lambs, and one time my eyes captured the book 'Perks of Being Wallflower' I Was utterly skeptical with it, Anyone thought it's another, Im not gonna mention it, It's very overrated. and one day Stephen Chbosky writer of the book and director of this film proves me very wrong, and this film is probably one of the greatest teen film since the era of John Hughes.
Based on the best-selling novel by Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a modern classic that captures the dizzying highs and crushing lows of growing up. Starring Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller, The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a moving tale of love, loss, fear and hope-and the unforgettable friends that help us through life. Source: Summit
The film adaptation stars Percy Jackson's Logan Lerman as Charlie, a well-known loner, and a wallflower and be friends with Harry Potter's Emma Watson as Sam and We Need To Talk About Kevin's Ezra Miller as Patrick, the cast is nonetheless equiped by strong performance and hard as rock sincere commitment with there profound and heartfelt roles.
I was viewing this film at a low point, where there's no expectation and no disappointments, the films starts really slow, and by the time Charlie met Patrick and Sam that's the start the joyful and most pleasing moments entirely, Basically Perks of Being A wallflower, suspected another nonsense, but really proves something and easily a teen movie with an adult brain.
Stephen Chbosky has adapted his own book for the screenplay and this is easily the film's biggest strength, Not only that he inherits all praise and accolades, but the real question is how does he execute it and what will he do to make it work, Chbosky helming all main responsibilites, is seemingly a big task, the provided story is boy-meets-girl but he added another side, added incredible depth and making this film, a complete package.
I Was completely emotional when the credits starts rolling, I'm on my third year of highschool and im not a shame that i am a wallflower, The main and complete reason on how this film has been viewed as the smartest, sweetest, kindest, funniest and emotionally affecting teen films since John Hughes, it's because of Stephen Chbosky and the undying charm of the three lead casts, If it wouldn't for them, this film could be another story.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars, 10 out of 10 stars, 100%, Two Thumbs Up

A sprawling 'Chinatown' wannabe, with it's A-list actors, it's now hard to trust them on what they can express on the film and the biggest disappointment could be from Russell Crowe, Crowe has been on a streak of dreadful films, films like Body of Lies, State of Play, Robin Hood, The Next Three Days, The Man With The Iron Fists and last month dreadful Les Miserables and that is coming from the star of L.A Confidential and Insider and yet a winner of Academy Award for Best Actor in 2000's Epic drama Gladiator, Mark Whalberg on the other hand has its up and down, The Fighter on 2010 which he was nominated for Best Actor at The Academy Awards, and 2012 is the downpour of him the January Release of heist film Contraband and that 'Ted' was seriously well made and now Broken City.
In a broken city rife with injustice, ex-cop Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg) seeks redemption and revenge after being double-crossed and then framed by its most powerful figure, the mayor, Billy's relentless pursuit of justice, matched only by his streetwise toughness, makes him an unstoppable force and the mayor's worst nightmare
Broken City is no where good, it's not that it has the biggest star and yet doesn't succedeed our expectation but it is on Allen Hughes horrible direction, don't get me wrong but Book of Eli was worth watching and worth every penny and he directed it with his twin Brother Alfred Hughes, and the script was an utter mess and the accountable would be Brian Tucker, this must have been his writing debut and it could have been forgivable.
It just don't succeed on any aspects, it fails to attain even performances, The Cinematography is an exception, wonderfully made, albeit
it was lifeless and a dull film, It's full of twist and turns and too many plot twists, that make it confusing and making it ambitious, It's just attempt on being a neo-noir and it failed big time.
Broken City is Released here by February 6,2012 and it was released on January 18,2013 in U.S, but it doesn't save it from teases, And there by means that Broken City is a piece of Junk that is thrown on January and it was played well, It's just an adult drama that's lacking and Could bring slight suspense and by no means it wasn't awful but it was really a disgrace and a waste of time and a dime.
Broken City could have an all-star cast, Cast that could have Join Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve and this Year Movie 43, I Didn't completely hate the movie, but it's enjoyable to watch, but if you're on something that have quality and story then this don't fit you, and why the hell is Russell Crowe that tan?

"It's not so bad after all"
I Didn't actually know how i watched this film, it surely is a disappointment, Wenn Deramas still giving us crap films and we audience still supporting it, The trailer had me laughed so hard but then the movie itself is a stupid movie consisting of stupid actors and a very very thin director, it surely targeted the target audience but not me im not even part of it.
Feuding half siblings reunite when a down-on-her-luck socialite is hire by her successful half-brother to be his my assistant. He resolves to torment her, but the two are forced to work together to overcome a powerful rival.
This is the 3rd most stupid film this film festival behind Sosy Problems and Si Agimat, Si Enteng At si Ako, well Sisterakas arguably delivered great laughs and an underwhelming effortless performances altough this film stars the biggest stars in industry it didn't work well it was actually for this film to earn more and well it works.
Sisterakas with its title is kind of stupid and it does live with it, It doesnt provide entertainment, It just provided cheap jokes, thin script and a stupid conclusion it was an utter crap, showcasing this kind of film is just a shame, but then it set standards for box office , and i'm sure this will be panned.
This surely be number one on box office, no doubt and probably will get no award, this is a subtle film that only cares for money and never for sincerity and never for awards, it was just a gimmicky movie that really works, a movie made for families with a child and group of friends and no doubt that this film garnered 40m in it's first day and meanwhile the greatest film in mmff 2012 Thy Womb barely made a million, it so sad that filipino actually prefered that but then i was there to be a critic and meanwhile others for entertainment to laugh and just forget problems and be inside the film for a while, but then it slightly works for me.

January is always the month and the moment that you can save up money for summer blockbuster and just ignored and the part when the all the garbge films is being released and A Dark Truth was undeniably one of them, It doesnt build up tensions and entertainment albeit some solid undeveloped story
Andy Garcia plays a former CIA operative turned political talk show host, who is hired by a corporate whistle blower to expose her company's cover-up of a massacre in a South American village. When he arrives, he is plunged into a violent and chaotic situation, with the military cracking down on a group of protesters led by a pair of activists (Eva Longoria and Forrest Whitaker). The ever-increasing depletion of earth's natural resource of water serves as the backdrop for this tense environmental thriller.
This eco-thriller is nothing but cheap, unsatisfying and insulting, A Dark Truth's Title may be intriguing but not the movie is nothing to be concerned about, Damian Lee's A Dark Truth has an interesting premise and some cat and mouse chase, but the end it fell flat.
This so called would probably be straight to DVD, Andy Garcia slightly had character development and the others meh, there is still something that makes this unique and that is nothing, this film is just plainly bland and blank

Officer Down from the title itself is stupid and yes this was thorougly absurd and acting was okay was hard to watch, It's a movie where you had wish you just have cut yourself and maybe die for intense and thrilling boredom.
One year ago, dirty cop Detective Callahan (Dorff) was shot in a drug bust gone wrong and saved by a stranger, giving Callahan a second chance to clean up his life. But when the stranger finally comes forward, seeking revenge against the men responsible for a string of assaults on young women at a local strip club, Callahan must go rogue to find the attacker in an effort to hide how his own past played a part in these crimes. His desperation to find the attacker and cover his tracks takes him down a violent road of deception and fraud. Can he play the "good cop" and track down the assailant, while still keeping his reputation clean?
Officer Down was the movie that i never intented to watch, the story is strong enough to build layers but fails as it head for the hit, It was simply incoherent and nevertheless it should brings up some action-packed scenes and was obviously a cheap cat fight.

Horrid Henry: The Movie is undoubtedly ugly, stupid and very terrible, This movie is only suitable for adults and never for kids, Your kids will get trauma, It's really a plain simple mess and utterly uninteresting.
When Henry fails yet again to hand in his homework, he inadvertently sets off an unexpected and curious chain of events. He forms an unlikely alliance with Moody Margaret, the infuriating girl next door, outwits corrupt School Inspectors, topples an evil Headmaster, wins a talent contest, and stands up to his ultimate nemesis. With each antic crazier than the last, Henry finds himself inexplicably trying to save the very school which he has always professed to hate
This is where that depressing moment, when i should go outside and hangout with anybody, This is a film that makes me cringe even as I'm sitting here thinking about it, It was never my intention to watch this.
Horrid Henry didn't deliver any entertainment or even humorous moments, this is very horrendous and very unappetizing, this film is incredibly pointless and extremly lazy.
But still I will not give this a zero rating, because im so lucky that i finished this, but Horrid Henry is another trash film that delivers horrible performances, ugly cast and misguided script.

What to Expect for a fourth movie in a inconsistent popular found-footage horror franchise, cliched parts, tiresome characters and eventually a total bore, but this sequel to Paranormal Activity 2 slightly exceeded what we expect despite some cheap scares and thin script.
Paranormal Activity 4 follows the same basic formula first person footage tells the story of a family, who finds their home life increasingly disturbed by potentially malevolent supernatural activity
Altough a terrific start, it started just your average horror movie, It is just plain and simple , a little boring but somehow provides a spooky athmosphere , some screams , Paranormal Activity made the transition from low-budget horror phenomenon to bankable product with the release of the first sequel and arguably Paramount Pictures is very happy about it.
Undoubtedly, This is the weakest of all the franchise, but it manages to be efficient and probably a little bit a decent entry, Paranormal Activity 4 had it's moments and flops but it's still gives us chills and momentarily screams, but it's not enough it's been buried , with shallow plot, dull interpration , Somehow Katie Featherson is getting more creepy and creepier after movie after movie, after her demonic possesion in the original Paranormal Activity and we will getting more of her in probably another sequel or prequel.

I Really Hate the Twilight Franchise starting from Twillight its like ever since, i never liked novel adaptations about this kind of stuffs, The earlier sequels were all stupid and pure mediocrity, heartless direction and uncomitted cast in my point of view, it is poorly written and suffers from thin script and shallow characterization and unsopshisticated plot.
After being brought back from near-death by Edward after childbirth, Bella begins her new life as a vampire and mother to their daughter, Renesmee. But when Irina, a member of the Denali coven, misidentifies Renesmee as a immortal child, a human infant who has been bitten and transformed into a vampire, to the Volturi, they set out to battle and destroy the Cullens for their betrayal. In a final attempt to survive, the Cullens begin to gather foreign Vampire clans and nomads to stand and witness against the Volturi, including the Denali, the Amazonian, the Egyptian, the Irish and Romanian Covens, with European and American nomads. With their allies, the Cullens and the Wolf Pack stand to prove their innocence to the Volturi once and for all.
The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 is a very decent and unsuspiciously the best in the franchise, perfect plot , more talking and less romance, it is very great and unexpected as i walk to the theater i had no space for expectations, but this really proves me wrong, you will find something productive and something innovative, Great CGIs, Best action sequences, this is treat not only for Twihards but only with demanding moviegoers also like me.
This Conclusion for me is a bittersweet but more likely sweet, This conclusion is really great and me actually can't believe it, if it this franchise like this in the first place we could have loved them, great director a very brilliant one, This conclusion just seeks redemption a widely great and joyful movie and this one is better than The Dark Knight Rises.

This is 40 ends up being a drama instead of being a comedy which is indeed a follow-up on 2007's smash hit 'Knocked Up', basically this movie ends up in circles confused on labeling its genre should it been called comedy, drama or basically a light feel-good film.
Writer/director/producer Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Funny People) brings audiences This Is 40, an original comedy that expands upon the story of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) from the blockbuster hit Knocked Up as we see first-hand how they are dealing with their current state of life.
This is sort of a sequel to 2007's Knocked Up, but this film basically doesnt matched the quality, Yes, It's raunchy, funny, offensive and sexually charged but it's nowhere close to his recent films, I had to exempt Funny People but still This is 40 delivered comical and a hit and miss humuor.
The cast however undeniably delivered a great acting, Leslie Mann & Paul Rudd has a great and charming chemistry and well the supporting cast certainly is strong especially Albert Brooks and Melissa McCarthy which recently had a Oscar Nomination for Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress respectively, But still it doesnt save the show the script is lacking and the film just needs more narrative power.
But then it's realistic, true and a sort of sweet, this is if not another accomplishment of Judd Apatow, but there is an always but, But This is 40 is 40 years so long it's length is a shame and utterly boring, It is a mixed bag of comedy , drama and love but it seems that, it doesnt mix so well? It's really painful to watch.
This is 40 then will surely be at the bottom of the list when you mention Judd Apatow, This surely is a boring, stupid and nasty film , For the first time I'm lost for words, Still this film is likely for adult and for parents, It's reasonably good and albeit long for a comedy film.
