Robin Williams: Live on Broadway

One of the best standup DVDs I've ever seen. Definately worth a watch for a real comedy fan.

AWESOME! I haven't laughed so hard in a loooooong time! Seth Rogen may just be the best comedy writer since Kevin Smith did his original New Jersey trilogy.

A Time to Kill

This is the perfect example of an ensamble cast done to perfection. McConaughey, Jackson, Spacey, Platt, BOTH of the Southerlands and Bullock are all simply BRILLIANT. This is an amazing book turned into an equally amazing movie. Don't just read the book, don't just watch the movie... to truely do yourself justice, do BOTH... as soon as possible.

Chasing Amy
Chasing Amy(1997)

Kevin Smith, one of the greatest writer/directors of all time as far as I'm concerned, at his best. Contains some touchy subject matter, but the dialogue is quick-witted and hillarious, and the story is something all of us can relate to, on at least SOME loosely-fit level

The Princess Bride

A true classic. Charming Brittish humor, amazing fencing sequences, a classical adventure story.... pure movie magic. ANYBODY WANT A PEANUT???

The Three Musketeers

Classic story.... brilliant retelling... all around, a great movie. Oliver Platt in particular makes this a must-see

Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider(2007)

One of the worst pieces o' crap I've ever seen. Should never have been made.

Van Helsing
Van Helsing(2004)

This was just bad. Only reason I didn't just leave was cause I was able to just stare at Kate Beckinsale and forget the horrible excuse for a story. Bram Stoker must be rolling over in his grave.

A Beautiful Mind

I didn't really WANT to see this movie, but I had to watch it in school, and I'll admit, wasn't as bad as I expected... but if you're not looking for a real "thinker" avoid it.

40 Days and 40 Nights

This was funny... and pretty cute... it's a good "date movie" kinda deal.

The Shining
The Shining(1980)

It's called a classic for a reason. Jack Nicholson, Stephen King AND Stanley Kubrick all on one project? How can it not be?

Meh. It was okay, I guess... but nothing special.

Man on Fire
Man on Fire(2004)

Just think C4... and a guys ass... if that doesn't make you wanna watch it... what the hell is wrong with you?

What Women Want

Simply put... one of the BEST movies I can think of to watch with a date or something. Girls will love the love story and the kind of male-bashing undertone of the main character, and guys will enjoy the blatant farce of watching a man portray the more annoying habits of women, and just plain love the sense of humor. It's awesome.

An insult to Silence Of The Lambs, and Anthony Hopkins' career

The Departed
The Departed(2006)

F***IN' AMAZING! This movie was a MASTERPIECE! It even made me kinda like Leonardo DiCaprio... which is saying a lot.

Pan's Labyrinth

Wow. This movie was AMAZING. So beautiful, so stylistic, so deep, so.... just... WOW. I can't even find the words. WATCH IT!

Night at the Museum

A good solid movie. Nothing amazing, but very amusing.

X-Men: The Last Stand

Vinnie Jones and Ben Foster.... two HIGHLY under-used talents, but both performed their parts very well. All in all a good movie, but I wish the two of them had been used more.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

I gotta say, it was damn good... I didn't even LIKE the first one, but I quite enjoyed this one. One of the biggest improvements from original to sequel I've ever seen.

Superman Returns

Great movie. Kevin Spacey is the ULTIMATE Lex Luthor... played to perfection. The rest wasn't bad either, but he stole the show.

Twelve Monkeys (12 Monkeys)

Bruce Willis is great as always... Brad Pitt is remarkably good. Great movie.

Absolutely hil-f*ckin-arrious! Stone and Parker are comedy GODS!

Into the Blue

Jessica Alba in a tiny little bikini.... do you really NEED another reason to see this movie?

Awesome. This movie got me into poker.

Jersey Girl
Jersey Girl(2004)

Kevin Smith in a bit of a departure from his usual work, but still relatively funny, and with George Carlin in it, not to be missed.

The Sixth Sense

One of those movies that will, in time, earn the title of classic.

Die Hard: With a Vengeance

Bruce Willis.... Sam Jackson.... great chemistry.

The Bourne Identity

It's like Bond.... minus all the Brittish-ness and lame gadgets you'd never see in a million years. Long live Jason Bourne!

Hudson Hawk
Hudson Hawk(1991)

Charming, in an awkward sort of way.

Blade: Trinity

There's one main reason to see this movie - Ryan Reynolds. The guy is INCREDIBLE as Hannibal King, great performance.

The Island
The Island(2005)

The story was cool. Awesome futuristic video game sequence, and mmmm Scarlett Johansson.... love it.

The Shawshank Redemption

I've got to say, I thought I was the last person alive who hadn't seen this movie. I had no idea what it was like or anything, I just knew I had been hearing about it for years, so I finally rented it.... and I'm SOOO glad I did. Tim Robbins is so impressive in this movie, I couldn't BELIEVE it. Definately check this one out.

The Butterfly Effect

Wow. It seems occasionally, hollywood CAN still cook up new ideas. This is a brilliant movie. And who knew? Ashton Kutcher CAN ACT!?!?!

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever

Hoooooorible. Avoid at all costs.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!

Is this movie supposed to be scary? Funny? Effect you at all? Or was it MENT to be complete crap? One of the worst movies ever.

Wow. Simply.... wow. A well-written original concept that pairs up two of hollywoods big powerhouse names.... a movie that should not be passed up. Also, keep an eye out for the SHOCKINGLY beautiful Dominique Swain, who plays Travolta's daugher... she alone could make me see almost ANY movie.

Alright.... how can I say this? As a horror movie, it was quite successful... but not in the way I really like. Yes, it was the first horror movie recent enough for me to remember (which means, surpassing Exorcist, both SAWs and The Ring, to name a few) to get a real reaction out of me.... BUT, it was more of an "I'm gunna puke" reaction than being really SCARED. What happened to the days when horror movies got you afraid of the unknown.... got chills by what they DIDN'T show? This isn't, to me, a horror movie... it's a sickening, twisted, reason to show a bunch of gory shit on the screen... and nothing more. That being said, it did that well... but just not what I wanna see.

Awesome. Simply awesome.

Mrs. Doubtfire

One of the greatest comedy movies of all time, and one the whole family can enjoy for one reason or another. Not only a must see... a must OWN.

Tristan & Isolde

This is the absolute PERFECT date movie. Women will love it for the ultimate love story, the one that came even before, and actually helped to inspire Romeo & Juliet.... men will love the breath taking battle scenes, and the retelling of one of history's greatest wars. It would be a great addition to any collection.

The Da Vinci Code

This was a prettygood movie.... perhaps a tad over-rated, and I thought Tom Hanks severly under-acted his part, but Jean Reno, Alfred Molina, Ian McKellen and ESPECIALLY Paul Bettany saved it. All in all, worth the price of admission.

See No Evil
See No Evil(2006)

Kane (real name Glen Jacobs) could have been used SO much more effectively in this movie. He plays the role of a crazed muderous psychopath so well, that they really should have given him more lines, and more close up camera time, as upposed to just having him grab and/or hook someone, pull them out of the camera, and cue a scream effect. This is a gross misuse of talent.

Liar Liar
Liar Liar(1997)

Hahahahahaha.... I can't even THINK about this movie without laughing my ass off.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

This is easily the best of the three, but collectively these movies aren't worth watching. I'd just as soon spend those nine odd hours plucking my hair out one by one. And then... as if that weren't enough... they make EXTENDED VERSIONS? Has the world gone MAD???

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Slightly better than the first, but still sucked. Sorry, but these movies are BORING.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Boooooooooring. If they had ONE more scene of just people walking through a field, I'd die of boredom.

The Chamber
The Chamber(1996)

The book was amazing... and the movie just kicks it up a notch. Gene Hackman plays this role to perfection, making you not only hate him with every fiber of your being, but also prey from the bottom of your heart that he lives. How many other films have done that successfully?

The Life of David Gale

Spacey completely steals the show. This movie is brilliant.

Disturbing Behavior

It's campy. It's unrealistic. For all intents and purposes, this movie should SUCK.... but, and I can't even tell why, I LOVE IT. It's just got.... SOMETHING. I can't explain it, it just catches you.

The War at Home

Such a BRILLIANT view of a young man's life as it has been changed by the Vietnam war. Emilio Estevez returns home to find that the war is not really over, but continues in his own mind. See it, if you can find it.

A cast of only 10 people, an entire movie set in one room, and shot in one continuous shot.... who else could have pulled this off? Hitchcock creates a real masterpiece here.

Monty Python's Life of Brian

Not as good as Holy Grail, but still great.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Awesome! Just.... AWESOME! Too many classic lines in this movie to even count. Sheer genius.

Die Hard
Die Hard(1988)

A true classic. Bruce Willis at his finest.... Yippie-kai-yay mother f*****!!!

Lethal Weapon

Perhaps one of the best action movies ever made. This was Mel Gibson BEFORE he went "religious nut with tons of money" back when he was one of the coolest MFers to walk the face of the earth.... NOBODY messes with Riggs!

Robin Hood: Men in Tights

This move was bloody hillarious. So much dry-witted Brittish-style humor, all wrapped up with a nice little bow in the form of Cary Elwes, who's nothing short of brilliant. Any true comedy fan will love this.

Bang Bang You're Dead

You wanna see my life, cranked up to another level? You wanna get inside the head of that kid in high school that everybody looked at funny? You wanna see the life of a teenager at risk from the other side? Watch this movie, it will completely change how you look at high school, bullying, and the torture of teenagers and young adults. This movie should be shown in EVERY school.

Stay Alive
Stay Alive(2006)

This movie SUCKED. The one and only reason I didn't leave and demand my money back was because I was able to sit there and just stare at the lovely Sophia Bush, so I didn't have to notice how horrible the story was, and how annoying Frankie Miniz is.... WHY WON'T HE STOP MAKING MOVIES???

The United States of Leland

A deep, meaningful exploration of the mind of a troubled teen that, for me, was impossible to turn away from. Great cast, great script, great acting.... just plain great.

Sin City
Sin City(2005)

With this cast.... and this base material.... how could it EVER be bad?

The Usual Suspects

This is probably, in my mind, the best film ever made. The writing is ingenius, the acting is nothing short of spectacular, and the ending is one of the most classic hollywood twists of all time. If you haven't seen it.... WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON HERE? SEE THIS MOVIE!!!
