The Hunger Games

I am now free to read the books. :P

The Ring Two
The Ring Two(2005)

Even though the little girl still creeps me out... One of the few horror movies that ever has.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I'm disappointed that so much was left out, changed, or just plain not adequately explained, but it was still the most emotional of the series.

Waaay creepy! I still can't totally forgive M. Night Shyamalan for what he did to The Last Airbender, but this movie did make up for it ever so slightly.

The Last Exorcism

Eff. Don't waste your money. Seriously. If I could give less than 1/2 a star, I would.

The Last Airbender

Wow, M. Night Shyamalan... Did you even freaking watch the series? Awesome visual effects, poor storyline execution.

Creepiest one we watched last night. Maybe it's because I spend so much time using the technology in my house.

Kuchisake-onna (A Slit-Mouthed Woman) (Carved)

The chick is pretty creepy, but it would have made more sense to me if the movie had actually followed the synopsis given on the back cover.

Experiment in Torture

It needed a bigger budget and a better writer... It still isn't as bad as Blair Witch Project. We did find ourselves saying, "I don't get it. Wait... what? Where'd he come from? When did that happen?"

Clash of the Titans

I could have seen it in 2-D and been satisfied, but I liked it. I was disappointed by Bubo's limited screen time, though. *lol*

The Lovely Bones

I haven't read the book yet, but I want to. It was emotional, but I was disappointed in the fate of the killer.

So creepy and a great twist in the end! It was a slow build up to the suspense, though.

You Don't Mess With the Zohan

Not one of Adam Sandler's best. I wasn't impressed. I really, really tried to stick it out, but when my husband fell asleep, I knew it was time to go do other things.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

Marginally better than Twilight! I'm really pleased that they didn't stray too far from the book's storyline. Oh, and Jacob may be a buff SoB now, but I'm still on Team Edward!

The Uninvited

I had it figured out within the first half hour. I'm disappointed. The trailers made it look so good.

Chipmunk Adventure

I loved this movie as a kid!

It's got a White Shepherd in it. Of course I love it! ...And it's a really cute movie. :)

The Last House on the Left

The beginning bored me, and I could've done without one scene. (I never have been a fan of those in *any* movie. I just can't handle it.) It got better, though. The ending was so justified.

The Unborn
The Unborn(2009)

Made me jump several times, and that old guy is CREEPY!

Hostel Part II

Yeah, still totally not changing my mind about leaving the US.

I am never leaving the US again!

Fucking horrible! Not enough gore and too much soft-core porn to be a horror movie. Totally LAME!

Ella Enchanted

Cute movie. Cary Elwes is a definite plus. Would be even better, though, if he were still as hot as he was in The Princess Bride. *swoon*

Sky High
Sky High(2005)

Totally superhero stereotype corny, but it was cute too.

I, Robot
I, Robot(2004)

Actually watched the majority of it, and it wasn't bad.

Comic Book Villains

I couldn't even sit through 10 minutes of this, and that was in the middle when I'm assuming it was supposed to be mildly interesting.

Can't Hardly Wait

Eh... Half-decent sountrack, though.

Bring It On: In It to Win It

Seriously, though, name one actual cheerleading squad in the universe that would be allowed to maim its uniforms the way that these two squads did.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

I am very disappointed with this movie in comparison to the book. Storylines are completely changed, parts are excluded, and what the HELL is Alexis Bledel doing playing Lena? She does not at all, in ANY way, fit Lena's physical description.

The Ring
The Ring(2002)

I had nightmares about Samara Morgan for months...

By far, one of Cuba Gooding, Jr.'s best performances.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Excellent! Lots of action, but some does get missed in reading the subtitles.

I absolutely adore this movie! I want my own Hidalgo!

A Hard Day's Night

I got this on DVD for Christmas four years ago, and it took me about two years to finally watch it entirely. Great movie, though!

The Last Unicorn

One of my all-time favorites! I wish the anniversary DVD weren't widescreen. The cover art is *SO* much better than the original DVD. :(

The Pacifier
The Pacifier(2005)

Vin Diesel is always good. :) I also think it's great that he stepped away from the typical manly action flick and did something family-friendly.

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride

A little rehashed from "Nightmare," but still creative. I liked it a lot.

The Simpsons Movie

I'm not a huge fan of the TV series, but this was a good movie. I dig teh Spider-pig. ;)

A Christmas Story

Yet another Christmas come and gone without my being able to watch this movie in one sitting. Next year, Ralphie, next year... Oh, and... "I CAN'T PUT MY ARMS DOWN!!!"

Subject to change... I've not yet read the book, but we all know how that usually turns out for me...

The Sons of Mistletoe

I wish they'd have extended the ending, and they caked Roma Downey's face with too much makeup to make her appear younger. Overall, it was a sweet story, though.

This one was really cute, too.

Holiday in Handcuffs

I really liked this movie. It was strangely romantic.

Happy Feet
Happy Feet(2006)

Excellent music, and pretty accurate regarding the actual nature of the Emperor penguin.

Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure

Not quite as magical as the original, but still cute.

Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider(2007)

I liked it, but I don't know that Nicolas Cage was the right choice for the role...

Actually not as horrible as I thought it'd be.

High School Musical 2

Subject to change, as I still haven't seen the whole movie.

Dead Birds
Dead Birds(2004)

Slow to progress, sure, but when she found the boy under the bed, I damned near jumped out of my skin. I must have missed, though, the way the whole "demon" thing came about.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

This is even more amazing in 3-D! I love this movie!!!

The Number 23

This movie kept me constantly guessing! How oddly convenient the number 23 really is... Excellent!

Doesn't anyone want to buy me a Bumblebee?

I don't think I jumped even once. Stupid, stupid, stupid ending... I'm disappointed.

The Lake House

I was confused at first, but it progressed into a totally beautiful and hopelessly romantic story. I loved it!

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

Too gory for my liking. I almost puked on several occasions.

The Descent
The Descent(2006)

Very creepy, but both the beginning and ending are confusing.

The Brain
The Brain(1988)

This movie is so 1980s... and so horrible that it's funny. No, it probably won't scare you out of your mind, but it'll give you a great laugh.

True Grit
True Grit(1969)

You afraid o' the boogerman?

The Life of David Gale

Incredibly hard to follow if you don't watch from the start.

Where the Red Fern Grows

I like the book more, as always.

The Omen
The Omen(2006)

Damien Devil Woman = Totally Creepy.

The Grudge
The Grudge(2004)

The dead Japanese chick is totally creepy.

The Dark Crystal

This movie is very easy to follow but slow to progress.

Starsky & Hutch

This movie holds a special place in my heart, as it's the movie that Chad took me to see on our first date.

The Sixth Sense

*lol* I see dead people.

Serial Mom
Serial Mom(1994)

Completely weird.

The Adventures of Milo and Otis

I've loved this movie since I was a kid.

Knockaround Guys

Vin Diesel Barry Pepper = "teh hotness"

Joe's Apartment

I *HATE* roaches, but the movie is still cute.

Garfield - The Movie

Cute, but it doesn't follow the storyline of the cartoon or comic strip.

Full Metal Jacket

Kinda creepy, since I work with a guy who looks just like the crazy suicidal guy in the movie.

OK, but still pretty stupid to me... Do you like to watch? You're lying!

This movie makes me smile. Smiling's my favorite!

Aww... I don't like clowns!

Clash of the Titans

I used to watch this movie with my dad all the time when I was little. I dig Bubo. :)

Cabin Fever
Cabin Fever(2002)

This could quite possibly be the worst movie ever made. What a waste of money.

The Bear
The Bear(1989)

I've loved this movie since I was a kid.

My Little Pony: The Runaway Rainbow

Cute...and yay for the return of unicorns!

My Little Pony

Of course, I've always loved this movie.
