Haha, that's awesome your mom liked him, he is so cool. I'm not a fan of Costner either, but Kevin Reynolds is a somewhat underrated and competant director. Yea, but it's allways fun to see Rickman in a bad guy role, even though it was very similar to that of Die Hard. Wincott needs to do more stuff! I think what most people remember him for is the main villian from "The Crow." I know! The Disney Robin Hood is one of Disney's best, and one fo their most underrated too, I consider "The Great Mouse Detective" to be it's brother film, mainly because both are based on famous stories, and both with animals in the roles usually played by humans, and both are two of the most underrated Disney films. I have the original Errol Flynn Robin Hood here to watch this week before I go see the new one, (I've never seen it.) Just out of curiosity, you said that Strong should have been Guy of Gisbourne instead of Godfrey, how are you familier with that character if you haven't seen the Flynn version? What I find very interesting is that Basil Rathbone played the original Sherlock Holmes, and Mark Strong played the main villian in the new adaptation, and Basil Rathbone played Guy of Gisbourne in the Original Robin Hood, and Mark Strong is basically playing the same time character. I also have Robin and Marion with Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn, with Robert Shaw as the villian, and Nicol Williamson (Merlin from Excalibur) is in it, along with Richard Harris. I had never heard of it until a few weeks ago actually. I do want to see "The Story of RObin Hood" at sometime, it is said to be one of the best adaptations, along with Flynn's, and it was Disney's second live-action film, after Treasure Island.
I will give Armored a shot, I almost picked it up tonight, but went with Public Enemies instead, since I hadn't seen it since theaters and my dad hadn't seen it yet. I don't know, but the Predators trailer looks kind of cheesy to me, it looks kind of like the condemned lol. I will stil
