I thought that Man of Steel KBOOOOOM, SCHIIIIIIWP, PTANG PTANG! was very engaging, but at the KRRRAAAKOOOM BIFF SOCK POW BIFF BIFF same time did appear to go out of it's way ZAAAAAAAAAANG KRAPOOOOOW SCHOOOOM! to overcompensate for the SMACK CRUNCH BIFF BIFF BIFF BIFF BIFF TOSS BIFF TOSS SHATTER SMAAAAAAASH perceived lack of action in Superman Returns. This movie PEW PEW PEW SHCHIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEOOOOM made it difficult to truly feel anything of KAZANG KATOOOW KATOOOOOW the pathos or morality at it's core due to SCHAAAAAAAZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM the focus on explosive effects.
Russell Crowe did a great job PTANG!!

Absolutely loved it. Dominates my thoughts and eclipses memory as the most heartbreakingly beautiful film I have seen. Speechless

I couldn't finish it, as much as I wanted to. I suddenly had the compulsion to wash my hands over and over in an attempt to remove a damned spot from my mind. This movie is a homage to male fetishistic objectification. I was as disturbed with the recognition of my liking for emotionally fragile Bettys shooting the shit out of dragons as I am by the skin of my own testicles.

Kat Dennings has three lines.

That about summed it up for me (possibily necessitating a review of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist to make up the underutlization) but if you want more detail, prepare for Anthony Hopkins 'round, pear-shaped tones' to save the day again in a film which takes gravitas to a new level of GRRRROOOOAAAARrrvitas with thanks to Kenneth Branagh's usual panache for producing drama coupled with a dependance on 'wowsy' special effects.
