Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Strange. Just way too strange. And the flashbacks of the Grinch's past, wow, very distrubing.

The Seventh Seal (Det Sjunde inseglet)

It's intriguing and the character of death is great. But the film falls flat with its resolution, however it is Bergman's best film.

½

Both are awesome, but Deathproof is by far the better film. There is something so awesome about Kurt Russel getting his ass kicked by a bunch of girls, awesome, and great female power. It was just so great. Both films have very good character develop and some good lines of dialogue. The trailers were also entertaining and alot of fun, Machete was the best. "You fucked with the wrong Mexican."

Ratatouille

By far my favorite movie of the year thus far. It is what true Disney/pixar movies should be like. This had one of the best scripts of the year, because not only does it actually make you care for a little rat, it has great childrens humor as well as the good humor for adults as well. And, dude, Peter O'Toole is in it, and this movie has got to have one of the best flashback sequences I've ever seen, and you know how much I love flashbacks. Seriously though, it is a terrific film.

Children of Men

First off, I dislike Clive Owen, alot, and I thought his acting was truly very weak and really brought down the movie. the movie was so disjointed and chaotic that it felt completely unrealistic to me. Yes, the cinematography is terrific, and I do admire it, but it was one of my least favorite movies I seen lately. But Michael Caine smoking weed in the middle of the woods was pretty awesome.
