Dawn of the Dead

Really good continuation of the "Dead" series, horrific effects for its time.

plus .5 for the presence of Sir Ben Kingsley

The Wizard of Oz

An absolute classic. The songs are outstanding, they stay in your brain for days. I haven't synched it up to Dark Side of The Moon yet...

Clerks II
Clerks II(2006)

Not really that sold on most Kevin Smith movies

Sin City
Sin City(2005)

Amazing style, cinematography and effects. Over-the-top stories make it unforgettable.

Kill Bill: Volume 1

Incredible action, great fight scenes-Iconic.

School of Rock

Simply hilarious. Jack Black's grandiose theatrics are what makes this movie a memorable sidebuster about rock & roll and stickin' it to the man.

The original, therefore, the best Rocky movie.

The Longest Yard

Funnier and more entertaining than the classic. More in-depth characters.

The Big Lebowski

It was okay. I mean, I can see why there is a big cult following and i like steve buscemi, it just all seemed like it was trying too hard. Strange for the sake of being strange.

Great movie, very reminiscent of similar styled classics.

Seven (Se7en)

Incredible, thrilling story.

Dracula - Dead and Loving It

Funny, I usually don't like Leslie Nielson but this one was good. Maybe it was the Mel Brooks in the film that did it! He's great.

Along with Unforgiven, one of the best Westerns of the last 20 years.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Great finale...what makes it the best of the three is the way they kill off the best character, Saruman. Cut scenes only!

He Got Game
He Got Game(1998)

Great story that makes up for Ray Allens sub-par acting.

The Toxic Avenger

So bad its good, as the extreme situations and over the top acting make this movie hilarious.

Rumor Has It
Rumor Has It(2005)

Half decent, I liked the Graduate, so this movie was fun to watch.

Neil Young: Heart of Gold

I love Neil Young, I love this movie.

Enter the Dragon

One of the most iconic Bruce Lee films. Good story about a fighting tournament.

True Romance
True Romance(1993)

Written by Quentin Tarantino, it contains his quick wit, style and amazing dialogue, with plenty of action and plot twists. Sole reason why Patricia Arquette is one of my fave actresses.

American Beauty

I really liked this movie...not sure why, just did.

SLC Punk
SLC Punk(1998)

Great movie for any fan of punk rock.

The Evil Dead

Low budget yet surprisingly entertaining.

Incredible movie. Great soundtrack, one of my favorites.

So I'm a nerd who likes Xmen...so what?!?

X2: X-Men United

Better than the first. Very compelling series.

X-Men: The Last Stand

Great movie, best of the trilogy.

From Dusk Till Dawn

Great movie, extremely strange turn, yet it doesn't matter.

House of 1000 Corpses

Great movie, very scary as far as most horror movies go.

The Devil's Rejects

Loved it. Better than House of 1000 corpses.

The Devil's Advocate

Great plot and climax

Robin Hood: Men in Tights

What I wouldn't give to see this sidebuster again...some people don't realize that Dave Chappelle is in this film as "Achoo".

The Princess Bride

Loved it. Very Funny.

Robin Hood
Robin Hood(1973)

Childhood fave.

The Satanic Rites of Dracula

Loved it! Christopher Lee is amazing.

Interview with the Vampire

Great plot. The story wins out over gayness.

The Running Man

One of the best Schwarzenegger movies. Loosely based on the Stephen King novel, it has a great feel to it.

Angels in the Outfield

Childhood soft spot for this movie. Doesn't compare these days.

The Replacements

Weak yet funny, very watchable.

Major League II

Not as good as the original, but the addition of several funny characters save the film.

Slap Shot 2: Breaking the Ice

Nowhere near the original, although still pretty entertaining.

Will Smith delivers a good performance in a good film.

Rocky IV
Rocky IV(1985)

Incredible allusions to the cold war. This Rocky is one of the greatest.

Rocky III

Coach Carter
Coach Carter(2005)

Over the Top(1987)

Who does not love a good Arm Wrasslin' movie now and then?

The Benchwarmers

Pretty funny, with many gags and jokes.

The Waterboy
The Waterboy(1998)

Great moments which make up for some of the failing humour.

Happy Gilmore

Funny, before 50 First Dates, so it was acutally a good Adam Sandler movie.

Cool Runnings

Hilarious..."Jamaica, We got a bobsled team!".

D3: The Mighty Ducks

Slacking compared to its predecessors but still a funny and entertaining time.

D2: The Mighty Ducks

Cooler stage, and just as good as the original. Great new characters.

The Mighty Ducks

Who does not like this movie?

Disturbing look at the lives of Pro athletes. Great performances by a star studded cast.

A League of Their Own

The best baseball movie of all time. Even better than Bull Durham

Slap Shot
Slap Shot(1977)

Best hockey movie of all time. It's a damn good movie.

David Bowie plus Jim Henson's Muppets = great movie musical.

Dave Chappelle's Block Party

I liked it, but don't go see it if you're planning to see a 2 hour Chappelle Show. The music is for a select audience, and there are many funny parts.

The Muppet Christmas Carol

One of the best Muppet Movies...but who am I kidding? They're all great.

Little Shop of Horrors

Great movie, funny and absurd.

Good movie. The excessive tv play takes away from it though.

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

Funny, as South Park always is, but some forget that this one is a musical. Great songs like "Kyle's Mom is a Big Fat Bitch" and "What would Brian Boitano Do?" haha.

That Thing You Do!

Good movie, good music, until you hear the same song for the thousandth time, overall a great movie.

Who doesn't love Annie?!?

The Sound of Music

The Hills are alive...this Academy Award winner has timeless music.

Mary Poppins

Sums up my childhood. Julie Andrews has the golden touch when it comes to kids movies.

Sid and Nancy

Good story, amazing performance by Gary Oldman.

Funny rock & roller movie, a forgotten and underrated Adam Sandler performance.

Detroit Rock City

Hilarious and fun. Great soundtrack which includes much more than KISS.

Almost Famous

Great story, loosely based on Led Zeppelin, Cameron Crowe at his finest.

End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones

The best Ramones documentary I've seen, it's better than Raw, although both are excellent.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Who can forget this classic. The remake wasn't the same without all the memorable songs. Gene Wilder can never be replaced.

Walk the Line

Incredible story, although the best parts were by far the concert and singing portions.

Poking fun at itself, it's a great Rockabilly musical without the comedy.

Great movie, liked by all!

This Is Spinal Tap

The Fake Rockumentary that started it all for movies like Hard Core Logo. Rob Reiner did great.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Simply amazing. Weird in the best way possible.

Jesus Christ Superstar

Top-notch music and singing, really entertaining.

A complete rock opera with incredible guest appearances by the likes of Clapton, Elton John and Tina Turner.

Santa's Slay
Santa's Slay(2004)

I thought this movie was so bad it was good. Very stupid...but I liked it anyway.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Incredibly funny at first, now its lost its appeal.

Kung Pow! Enter the Fist

I laughed my face off the first time I saw it, but it gets old after a while.

Con Air
Con Air(1997)

The best prison movie that doesn't take place in a prison. Still a great movie although the lead actor is Nicholas Cage...

Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

End and best of an epic series. Hard to choose from the original three, but this one is my favorite. Jabba the Hutt put it over-the-top...

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

As close to an acid trip as you can get by watching a movie.

Carbon copy LSTSB, but that's the way I like it.

Kill Bill: Volume 2

Interesting, funny, action-packed, overall great movie.

Pulp Fiction
Pulp Fiction(1994)

By far my favorite movie all time. It's timeless, has incredible depth and an all-star cast.

Dirty Dancing

Yea I like it...so what?!?

Army of Darkness

Incredible. Funny, supossedly scary, great style. The King of all B-Movies.

Bowling for Columbine

I usually don't like Michael Moore, but there are some pretty funny and thought provoking parts in this movie, that go along with the stupid parts.

Orange County

A great story, although it didn't need it with all the non-stop laughs and Jack Black's funniest performance ever.

Rock 'n' Roll High School

Mix "Grease" with "Animal House" and you have this movie, throw in the Ramones and watch the ear drums pop and the mice explode.

A Clockwork Orange

Incredible and disturbing imagery. Groundbreaking.

Up in Smoke
Up in Smoke(1978)

Funny movie, now more than ever. Lots of stupid humour as well as a "great storyline"...van made of marijuana...anyway its miles ahead of all the teen movies of today.

Hard Core Logo

Story of a canadian punk band on a reunion tour. This Rockumentary is for any punk fan or anyone who liked "This is Spinal Tap".

The Last Temptation of Christ

In my opinion, Willem Dafoe's best performance. Look for the David Bowie cameo as Pontius Pilate.

An amazing story of conflicting views of commanding officers during the Vietnam war.

Full Metal Jacket

The best war movie with exception to the Academy award winning platoon, but the two are great on different levels.

Apocalypse Now

Although confusing, this Vietnam flick is a classic with an incredible performance by Marlon Brando.

The Elephant Man

Classic story of John Merrick. Brilliant acting and cinematography, great movie for anyone.

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Intricate plot, interesting characters, and awesome cockney rhyming, need I say more?

Animal Factory

The darker side of prison movie. If you liked Shawshank Redemption, you wouldn't like this movie for the same reasons.

Reservoir Dogs

The ultimate heist movie. Simplicity, its what makes this movie different from other gangster movies. It features some of the most timeless scenes ever, the ear torture scene, the coffee shop scene, walking down the road scene...

Dawn of the Dead

Reinventing the wheel when it comes to zombie movies. What makes this remake rival its original is the in-depth character development and great storylines.

Once upon a Time in Mexico

A complete epic. Great acting, directing, action and plot. One of the most interesting movies I have seen in quite some time. I'm praying for an Agent Sands spinoff.

Night of the Living Dead

The ultimate horror movie. There's not another scary movie in the world that can stand up to it. The ORIGINAL zombie movie.
