Very well done and reimagined. Great performances. But the non linear style doesn’t suit the material, and makes it harder to identify with how each girl grows up. Meg and Beth are not given nearly the justice they deserve (perhaps because they don’t fit the modern day mentality). Still, I was moved by it all, as expected. The 1994 Winona Ryder version is still the best and most accurate version.
Well done and still entertaining, even if dated. I will commit the crime of admitting Quinn is good, but it would have been better with another actor. Quinn plays most things pretty much the same, and he never convinces me he’s anything but Hispanic, in anything.
