Goodbye Pork Pie

***new zealand movie***

Fight Club
Fight Club(1999)

Not what I was expecting.

Leaves you so confused you can't remember what really happened

Won't be watching again unless I have. Mindlessly dull. The third part of the film which many people dislike was actually my favourite part.

Return to Never Land

I had to take my cousins to this movie twice in one day, and to this day I still wont voluntarily watch it

Whip It
Whip It(2009)

Cool movie, def made me wanna go find my roller skates

Very much want to see this movie.

Finally watched this. Awesome movie. Will recommend to friends. Special Effects not great compared to movies these days. Liked the fact that all spooky parts happened in well lit rooms/areas of house, made a change to movies that are made these days when your just waiting for shit to fly out of the dark. Not sure whether I got my point across. I like the fact that the scenes were well-lit...

Don't Look Now

Hmmm.. This movie definitely left me with a few questions. I had to re-watch to make sure I hadn't missed anything, and nope I didn't. Guess I'll have to watch it with someone else next time to get their viewpoint

But I'm a Cheerleader

Took me forever to track this movie down...

A good-weird movie. Her boyfriend's slobby kissing made me want to throw up. The funny thing is she didn't realise she was gay until they told her and she probably would have gone on to marry that dickhead boyfriend and seemed the 'normal' person everyone wanted her to be. The 'therapy' at the treatment place was definitely borderline sexual abuse towards the end.

Nice to see New Zealander Melanie Lynskey.

Ugh! I don't see what the big deal is. Started off okay but as soon as I saw that stupid talking dog I was let down. Nice animation though, but
can't see why everyone likes it so much.

Dead Poets Society

Good movie, heaps of characters to despise and others to really like.

I thought I would hate this movie because it's old and in black and white, it just didn't draw me to it. But now that I've watched it I like and will watch it again

The Sound of Music

I was 19 when I first saw this movie, must be one of the oldest people to watch it first time. But I love it. Bit of a long movie and definitely not my friends cup of tea but one of me favourites

The Tattooist

Liked this movie, even more so because it's a New Zealand movie

How the West Was Fun

I remember I liked this as a kid but it's probably over 10 years since I seen this

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

I really wanted to see this movie being a Twilight fan. I think this movie is so pathetic its funny. This movie honestly makes me laugh. The Volturi aren't shown as very scary. Dakota Fanning was dull. Not enough of the character Jacob. Kristen Stewart's character continues to be awkward and odd in an annoying way. The proximity between Bella and Victoria in the ocean after the cliff jump isn't shown as dangerous as it should have been.

Sunshine Cleaning

Crap, as much of a fan I am of Amy Adams this movie sucked

I actually liked this movie, the whole Civil War ship takes off to Africa thing was intriguing. Everything unbelievable though but it's a movie it's just supposed to be fun. It did seem to take a long time to end

The Rules of Attraction

To say I did not like this movie would be an understatement

The Count of Monte Cristo

I really love this movie. I like movies set around this time (16th-17th century).

It is a great story, I know it differs from the book, but I think the movie has a better outcome then the book. It was sad for Edmund to go through the imprisonment and beatings but in the end he got what he deserved so did everyone else, well except the priest).

There were a few funny lines in this film I thought like when Edmund tells the priest he has 5000 or something stones in his wall, he has counted them many times, and the priest replies 'but have you named them yet?' then chuckles to himself.

I think all the actors did amazing jobs but especially Jim Caviezel and Guy Pierce (who is so versatile)

Some funy parts, but I had seen most of them in the previews.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets

I like these sort of 'history' movies. I think that everyone was cast perfectly. I hope they do a third movie

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I think it was good despite the stupid alien skull plotline. No where near as good as the previous movies though

The Italian Job

Not very exciting compared to all the other movies out now about stealing stuff and that type of thing

The Village
The Village(2004)

When this movie came out I wasn't interested in it at all.

But when I read what happens in the end on the internet when I was browsing, Im really interested in it and want to watch it.

Well I've seen it now, and I think it was good. I can see how people want to create their own perfect society, but it still seemed a bit sad that the children that will grow up there won't be able to make the decision for themselves whether they want to live like that or not.

The Interpreter

Not very excitng, wasn't kept on the edge of my seat.

A Lot Like Love

Ok, when I heard about this film I wasnt interested. I couldnt see Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher together.

But both their characters changed throughout the movie and I saw how their characters were meant to be.

I loved the part where Ashton Kutcher is singing Bon Jovi's " I'LL BE THERE FOR YOU".

Kill Bill: Volume 2

Like this movie, just a bit more than Kill Bil. Vol:1, just because it had more background on Uma's character and the relationship she had with Bill.

Kill Bill: Volume 1

I love this movie, Uma Thurman, Quintin Tarantino and the story of The Bride.

Lost Boys: The Tribe

Should not be called Lost Boys 2, not even in the same league

The Devil's Arithmetic

I don't know much about being Jewish or anything like that. But I still enjoyed this movie, it is sad and Brittany Murphy and Kirsten Dunst are great in this film.

Fool's Gold
Fool's Gold(2008)

I thought this would be really bad, but it was alright and I will watch it again. Totally unbelievable stunts/explosions etc but it's just a movie

Burn After Reading

Thought this was crap, it had heaps of great actors but was not funny/thrilling/exciting anything

Well I did think this was one the best movies ever, but then I re-watched it and realised it wasn't as great as I thought it was, but I still like it-not one of the greatest movies though. Kristen Stewart wasn't very impressive.

What She Knew

Interesting, but wouldn't watch again

McHale's Navy

Not very good, but was ok to watch when there was nothign else on

The Invisible

Wanted to see this for a long time

Death Race
Death Race(2008)

I like Jason Statham but thought this movie sucked

St. Trinian's

Won't watch it again...

Notes on a Scandal

Amazingly I read the book before seeing the movie, and was naturally disappointed but I think good casting on Blanchett and Dench

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

I think it's a good sequel but I wasn't really into the first one

Mr. Nanny
Mr. Nanny(1993)

I think I watched this when I was really young, don't want to repeat the process

Love Wrecked
Love Wrecked(2005)

A bit lame, liked Amanda Bynes in 'She's the Man' but this one not so great. And both main guys in this movie just annoyed me

The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising

Seen some of this while flicking channels, looked like it was for kids

Keeping Mum
Keeping Mum(2006)

One of my favourite movies!!

The Darwin Awards

Started watching it, but couldn't get through it was not that interesting

Romancing the Stone

I love this and Jewel of the Nile

Richie Rich
Richie Rich(1994)

This used to be one of my fave movies

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

This was terrible, terrible it couldnt have got much worser

What Happens in Vegas

Watched this last night, Cameron Diaz usually annoys the hell out of me but she was alright in this. Was a good movie.

Ghost World
Ghost World(2001)

Scarlett Johnassen annoys me in every movie she is in including this one.
After hearing so much about this movie I finally watch it, I did't think it was too exciting.

Wasn't exactly how I thought it would be, but I enjoyed it none the less.

Sydney White
Sydney White(2007)

I shouldn't have had high hopes. Predictable.

I though this was a great movie, there were some great lines

The Frighteners

Filmed in New Zealand

I liked the whole story behind the characters, Johnny and Patricia how she's only 15 and he's and orderly who works at the sanitorium that her father runs, and how they must be so twisted to do that to all those people and carve numbers into the heads of their victims and how their relationship was maintained even after he was executed.

Marie Antoinette

Wasn't to sure of what to think of this film. I already knew about Marie Antoinette before watching this and I think that it ended at the right time in the movie.

This is one of my favourite movies.

The Heartbreak Kid

I absolutely hated this movie. I used to be such a huge fan of Ben Stiller but this movie has definitely made me think twice about any new movies he's doing.

I felt physically sick through some of these scenes and that never happens to me. Some of these scenes were definitely fucked up.

I didn't feel sympathy for any of the characters and just wanted the movie to be over as soon as possible.

The nudity was also unnecessary.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

I knew the ending but still enjoyed it. I'm a big fan of Depp, Burton, Rickman and Bonham-Carter, but that didn't stop me from disliking the singing, though I am aware it is a musical.

The Da Vinci Code

If I hadn't read the book first I wouldnt have understood what was going on

Just Like Heaven

Was ok, predictable though

The Fearless Vampire Killers

Couldn't hold my attention. I tried.

Hope Springs
Hope Springs(2003)

I found all the characters so annoying, but it was ok overall.

Escape to Witch Mountain

I dont think this movie would hold kids' attention today as it would have back 30 plus years ago.

Girl With a Pearl Earring

I enjoyed the book I read it before seeing the movie, the movie seemed so slow.

Not what I expected. The real Domino Harvey died before the movie was released and was rumoured to have not liked how this film ended up looking.

I didnt like the way the story was told. and I didn't think that the lapdance scene was necessary I thought that it was against her character.

The Descent
The Descent(2006)

I thought this would be a crappy movie with no-actors. Well I still think the actors are no-bodies but I really liked this movie. Usually I dont like scary movies but I watched this at a friends house and I really started to enjoy it. I jumped in some places, and some parts were really predictable. But I really liked it in the end.

The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane

I enjoyed this movie and Jodie Foster was perfect for the role.

Taxi Driver
Taxi Driver(1976)

I love this movie, Jodie Foster was great.

Lady in the Water

Was quite strange bit hard to follow.

Say Anything...

Finally sa this movie, not quite how I was expecting it but was good.

Honra e Liberdade

I thought this was a great movie. Samantha Morton looks great in it and the ending is great. Keifer Sutherland also has a great role.

Road Trip
Road Trip(2000)

I love this movie. I love the scene where the snake finally wants the mouse, and the scene where they all sing 'I wanna rock' by Twisted Sister.

Empire Records

Hearing that it was in a way simliar to Dazed and Confused, I thought it would be a disappointment, because I love Dazed and Confused and didn't want this film to ruin what I think of it. But this movie was awesome. Rory Cochrane definitely has the best lines. Liv Tyler and Renee Zellweggers characters were quite annoying though. Music was great.

Well it didn't ruin it. I still love Dazed and Confused and I love this movie. The 3 most off putting things about this movie was Renee Zellwegger, Liv Tyler and the dude that can't tell Liv he likes her.

Love Anthony LaPaglia's character Joe, and Rory Cochrane's.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Im such a geek for the Star Wars movies. I thought this movie was great and sad.

Drive Me Crazy

I cant help but like this cheesy 90's teen movie.

Mulholland Drive

I didn't understand it, and in the end I couldnt be bothered trying to figure out who was who and what meant what.

Some has recommended you watch Heavenly Creatures if you like this movie. I like the movie Heavenly Creatures but I dont think it is similiar to Mulholland Drive at all.

King Kong
King Kong(2005)

Thought it would suck, but I couldnt stop watching it.

Got a 'jurassic park vibe'.

Naomi Watts??? Not sure what I thought of her.

Garden State
Garden State(2004)

Didn't like it at first, but love it now

Hide and Seek

I wasn;t too surprised by the ending. Was ok. Love Dakota

Did she really think she would have made it throught the cat door?

I liked it, I thought Drew's scenes were scariest though

High School Musical

Wildcats..blah blah blah, Wildcats...blah blah blah *vomit*

Had that stupid song in my head.^

Nothing more than a 'Made for Tv' movie.
Cheesy and cliche'

Bowling for Columbine

I thought it was more to do with the shooting than gun control, but watched it anyway.

Heard lots and lots about this. So I sorta know what happens, but i still want to see it.

Creeped me out, and I felt sad for all the people that tried to help her and ended up dying.

A League of Their Own

Wow, I didn't plan on watching this but their was nothing else on. I'm not sure when I started watchign it but I think I watched the majority of it.

I was a bit scared of Lori Petty for a minute she was really fierce. I didn't see alot of Madonna and thought she had a larger part. Love Rosie O'Donnell's parts, she was always yelling.

They all looked so young aswell. ( I know the movie came out in 1992)

Lemora - A Child's Tale of the Supernatural

AKA: Lemora, The Lady Dracula

I watched this movie yesterday and during the rest of the movie I couldn't stop thinking about the creepy ticket guy. Ewh he really grossed me out, with what he said to her. I'm not prudish or anything but I guess it creeped me out so much was because I wasn't really expecting it. Sick!

So according to imdb she was born in 1955 and this movie came out in 1973 so she would've been bout 16-17? during filming she didn't look that old to me. But also when she is being 'sponge-bathed' her towel slipped for a second and I thought they would've edited that bit or something.

I missed the start, I started watching from the bit where she was packing her things and leaving the house. But the rest of the story didn't quite make sense to me like all the creatures and stuff, there was no story that I saw behind them.

That guy still creeps me out.

I cant help but love it.

I love Jonny Lee miller in this movie aswell. I hardly recognise Angelina Jolie, her character is so awesome.

Naoki Mori has about 5 seconds in this film, if that. When I saw her name on here I didn't know what character she played.

Love Matthew Lilliard and Jesse Bradford in this movie aswell. I just love it all.

Yeah i know it's not believable and accurate but blah, I don't know much about the 'hacking world' so it doesn't bother me!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

I didnt like the factory scene near the start, really annoying.

Baron Bomburst's castle is Neuschwanstein, built between 1869 and 1886 for the Bavarian King Ludwig II, "The Mad King of Bavaria".

I've always been fascinated by the castle.

I loved the movie too.

Cutthroat Island

Yes I know it sucked at the box office, but I love this movie !!!

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

Well I admit that this movie wasn't as crap as I thought it would be.

Yeah it was predictable and 'girly' but it was okay.

10 Things I Hate About You

Great actors/actresses in this.
Love the character of 'Kat'.

The Devil Wears Prada

I was really interested in this movie. But now that I've seen it, I was how expected but not how I expected. I thought it was a comedy. Of course Meryl Streep came off like a bitch, but that was what she was going for.

At the start of the movie I kept thinking 'Ugly Betty', with parts like the 'poncho'. and 'the book'. I didn't find the overall story intriguing and I wasn't surprised at any parts of the movie.

The Santa Clause 2

It wasn't that bad...

Dirty Dancing

The first time I watched it was 19 years after it came out, just some random info you might have been interested in. But it is a great film. And Patrick Swayze was perfect for the part.

"When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong"?????? (Baby's Dad)
- What the hell type of apology was that???

Sugar & Spice

Love Kansas, Mena Suvari's character.

The Parent Trap

Yeah like the woman doesnt feel herself being dragged out and into the lake. Whatever..

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

What a stupid and boring movie. Didn't find it great at all, I didn't even think it was good.

Mean Girls
Mean Girls(2004)

She adapted so quickly!! Coming from spending her life in Africa. But the rest of the story was great.

Ace Ventura - When Nature Calls

Ronald Camp: I'll have the plumbing checked immediately, Mr. Ace.
Ace Ventura: See that you do. If I'd been drinking out of the toilet, I might've been killed

Jury Duty
Jury Duty(1995)

I ended up watching this movie in the middle of the day when I was flicking through the channels when I was bored. I didn't see the start but saw most of the movie.

I recognised Tia Carrere in it, if I hadn't recognised her I dont think I would have remembered this movie at all.

Bad Santa
Bad Santa(2003)

I loved Billy Bob in this role.

Sleepless in Seattle

Seen it! Was exactly how I expected it to be like. I liked Gabby Hoffman's character.

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

Seen it, I didn't find it any fun, the characters really annoyed me.

Jodie Foster kept me thinking about whether she was crazy or not. But I probably wouldn't watch it again.

The Dukes of Hazzard

Not so great. Love Seann William Scott though!

Sione's Wedding (Samoan Wedding)

Seen it. There was so much hype about it when it came out here in New Zealand (as it's a New Zealand flick'.)

I don't think anyone that doesnt live in New Zealand would recognise any of these actors.

Samoan Wedding (Sione's Wedding)

Seen it. There was so much hype about it when it came out here in New Zealand (as it's a New Zealand flick'.)

I don't think anyone that doesnt live in New Zealand would recognise any of these actors.

The 40 Year Old Virgin

Had its moments. Absolutely hated it when I first watched it.

But what was up with the weird ending? when they all start singing it didn't tie in with the movie.

Well after about 50 straight questions about it in the movie quiz. I decided to hire it. Was good.

Loved David Bowie, but Sarah repeating 'It's not fair', got really annoying.

The Wizard of Oz

I suppose it was great when it came out back in like 1939

They both try to change for the other person and all works out well. The slow songs well were -slow. But the faster songs tied into the film.

What was up with the flying car in the end?

A Fish Called Wanda

LOVE IT, if you like this one you will probably like Fierce Creatures aswell.

Ken's stutter got annoying at times, and I love Jamie Lee Curtis.

The Ring
The Ring(2002)

Totally did not live up to my expectations, extremely overrated

The Others
The Others(2001)

Slow. I felt that I was missing something throughout the movie, and when it came to an end I still thought that I missed something.

The Exorcist
The Exorcist(1973)

I thought it would be better.....

I can see how it people freaked out bout it though. I wouldn't want to watch this at night.

And the words coming out of her mouth? I can see how people saw it as 'controversial'

The Craft
The Craft(1996)

A horror? I've seen some people calling this a horror movie.

It is NOT a horror movie. I think its a bit of thriller but not a horror.

Based around a girl (Tunney) who meets 3 so called 'witches' at the school she's had to go to afte moving, and what they get up to...If that makes sense.

Watch it and judge for yourself

Really slow, omg i was so disappointed at the end, I was expecting something better.

I think it being in 'black and white' distracted me.

I must watch it again properly

Cant remember much of this film, I was only half watching.

Kissing Jessica Stein

Seen it, seemed kinda slow. But it's been awhile since I last watched it.

The Hot Chick

April: So... do you really have a penis?
Jessica (Clive): I don't think you get the gravity of the situation here.
April: Can I see it?
Jessica (Clive): April!
April: Sorry... can I see it?
[Jessica gives April a dirty look]
April: Come on, it's not every day that your best friend grows a penis.

Baby's Day Out

I watched this movie over and over years ago.

Havent watched it in like 9 years.

Are We There Yet?

In the nicest way...I detested Aleisha Allen's singing in 'Are We There Yet?'

And why was Ice Cube repeating 'She can sing, she can sing?'

She can't sing!

This movie sucked. Why, why did Ice Cube agree to this? and the sequel?

That deer scene, freaked me out...dumb girl.

Those kids were so annoying, the movie was so annoying. And we all knew how it would end.

And what the hell was up with the animated head???

The Wedding Date

The first time I watched this movie, I thought it dragged on, and I gave it a 2 and 1/2 stars.

But I watched it again last night and I enjoyed it, and I recognised Jack Davenport this time.

New rating 3 and 1/2 stars.

Shanghai Knights

I liked this one more than the first.

Failure to Launch

Didn't enjoy. Predictable.

xXx: State of the Union

Didnt like it at all. And what a bad story about Vin Diesel's character Xander from the first movie.
Shouldn't have been done unless Vin Diesel was in the main role. This movie annoyed me!

Lethal Weapon 4

Martin Riggs: So this must have been what Uncle Benny meant by Four Fathers. Looks like Japan's version of the Marx brothers. Let's see we got Groucho, Harpo, Chico, and uh, Fucko.

Leo Getz: Hey maybe we'll work together some day. I'm da bomb. They'll tell ya.
Lee Butters: Yeah, we're gonna be working alright, as soon as I open a cereal shop, ya fuckin' leprechaun.
Leo Getz: Hey, I didn't call you anything ya fuckface. Don't start that now.

Lee Butters: You have the right to remain silent. So shut the fuck up. You have the right to an attorney. If you can't afford an attorney, we will provide you with the dumbest fucking lawyer on earth. If you get Johnny Cochrane, I'll kill ya.

Roger Murtaugh: Hey Riggs, why did you call him my son-in-law?
Lee Butters: 'Cause I aaaam.

Almost Famous

Russell Hammond: I am a golden god!
(later in the movie)
Russell Hammond: I never said I was a golden god... or did I?...........................
Penny Lane: I always tell the girls, never take it seriously, if ya never take it seriosuly, ya never get hurt, ya never get hurt, ya always have fun, and if you ever get lonely, just got to the record store and visit your friends. ......................Russell Hammond: And you can tell Rolling Stone magazine that my last words were... I'm on drugs!
[crowd cheers] ...................Ben Fong-Torres: A Mo-Jo, it's a very high-tech machine that transmits pages over the telephone! It only takes eighteen minutes a page! ................
William Miller: I love you. And I'm about to boldly go where... many men have gone before.
.................Jeff Bebe: "Rock 'n' roll can save the world"? "The chicks are great"? I sound like a dick!
Russell Hammond: [to himself] You are a dick. ....................Elaine Miller: May I speak with William, please? Sapphire: He's not here. I think he's in the bar with the band. They just got back from the radio station. Is this Maryann with the pot?... Hello?
Elaine Miller: No, this isn't Maryann with the pot. This is Elaine. His mother.

I love this movie, great scenes. Love the scene where they drive the bus through the gates and that guy is driving behind them yelling.

Love Actually

i dont like the bits of 'drama' in this film, like laura linney and the 'Carl' office dude. but I liked most of the rest of the film and how everyone ties in together. Colin Frissell is by far my fave character in this film.

Vampire Clan
Vampire Clan(2002)

Based on the true story of Rod Ferell, Charity Lynn Keesee, Dana Cooper, Heather Wendorf and Howard Anderson.

To check out the page on wikipedia about Rod Ferell

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Hmmmm....what ot say about this film.

Well its been at the cinemas for awhile now where I am. And the time that I went in there was maybe 4o people at the most in there and most of them were over 30 which I didnt really expect. I thought that they would be offended easily. But as the movie started they were laughing harder than I was!

I was slightly shocked at the nudity as I had no idea it was coming.

The 40 something year old women that had been sitting in front of me and my friend throughout the movie (and had been laughing their heads off) stood up as soon as the nudity lasted more than 10 seconds, and they prompty walked out.

I enjoyed the Pamela Anderson bit at the end, it wasnt any where near as much of her as I thought there would be, but all was good.

There were some moments I couldnt help but cringe at.

Overall I thought it was good but not great.

The Break-Up
The Break-Up(2006)

I was horrified by how bad this movie was. All I heard was good reviews. I cant believe I spent $7 hiring this out for a night. Any 'funny' bits in the movie are shown in the trailer, everything else is dull.

Pretty in Pink

I LOVE this movie, HATE the dressshe wears to the prom, she had two perfectly good dresses and destroyed both to create one hideous dress

Reservoir Dogs

Whoah!....I was speechless by the time this movie was over. I did not enjoy the 'ear' scene.

I definitely recognised it as a Quentin Tarantino, although I already knew it was before I had watched it, if that makes any sense?

Good movie, but I wouldnt watch it everyday.

Love Mr. Pink!

The Glass House

Seen parts of it at all different times. Finally seen it all together. Predictable.

The Brady Bunch Movie

I think I've seen this one, if it stars Christine Taylor as the oldest daughter

American Pie 2

I thought it was a good sequel to American Pie

This happens to alot of people all the time, it's sad but nothing special

Dazed and Confused

Love this movie, there are funny moments.
Great characters
Slater and Wooderson!
Mike: Don't air raid for that b*tch, I hate that shit. It's like that Clint f*cker in front of all his friends. Huh? Huh mother f*cker.
Tony: Okay Mike.
Mike: Dominant male monkey mother f*cker.
Darla: What are you looking at? Wipe that face off your head, b*tch
Wooderson: That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.
Slater: You cool man?
Mitch: Like how?
Slater: [rolling his eyes as he walks away] OK.
Pink: He was asking if you get high.
O'Bannion: Hey Slater, you f*ckin' hippie, give me drugs, man.
Slater: Go get some from your mother, man.
O'Bannion: We just bagged your mother.
Slater: Okay, f*ck you dickhead................

Spice World
Spice World(1998)

I used to love this film when I was like 9 or something. I bought it for $1 at a garage sale and couldnt believe it.
How come I liked this movie so much, all those years ago???

Posh, really did act 'posh' and it wasnt her acting, I bet she actually refused to do those 'military' exercise parts...........................And wow, I dont think I ever noticed that Mel C 'Sporty' had such a strong accent.................................It didn't really have a storyline, it was kinda all over the place..

Back to the Future

There are some great lines.
Definitely the best of the three made.

George McFly: Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out that he'd melt my brain.
Dr. Emmett Brown: Then tell me, "Future Boy", who's President in the United States in 1985?
Marty McFly: Ronald Reagan.
Dr. Emmett Brown: Ronald Reagan? The actor?
[chuckles in disbelief]

Marty McFly: That's Strickland? Jesus. Didn't that guy ever have hair?
Marty McFly: Calvin? Wh... Why do you keep calling me Calvin?
Lorraine Baines: Well, that is your name, isn't it? Calvin Klein? It's written all over your underwear.
Skinhead: [throws Marty in the trunk of a car] That's for messing up my hair!

North Country

Had to watch it in school...

Once Were Warriors

This is the saddest movie I have ever watched.

Independence Day

"I could have been at a BBQ" Will Smith. LOve that scene when he's dragging the alien

Erin Brockovich

cant watch it too many times, too slow but has some good quotes

Not Without My Daughter

Didnt like to watch it, cause it just made me mad

40 Days and 40 Nights

Fun movie about a Josh Hartnett giving up sex when he's dumped, only to fall for Shannyn Sossamon soon after

Woman on Top
Woman on Top(2000)

Ive seen this movie several times when its been on late night tv.

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion

I've seen this movie so many times I can quote every line.

Grosse Pointe Blank

I first thought it was pretty crap, but then I watched it a coupla years later, (when I was a bit older) and loved it.

The Gift
The Gift(2000)

Isnt this the movie where you see Katie Holmes topless?

Yeah I've seen this. Keanu Reeves's character was a real jerk.

Other actors in this flick are Cate Blanchett, Hilary Swank, Greg Kinnear, Giovanni Ribisi.

Billy Bob Thornton and Tom Epperson wrote it.

Crocodile Dundee II

Good movie, fits in with the first film perfectly. Better than the third one.

I have seen this movie so many times, and I still like it.

very very much overrrated

Garfield - The Movie

Why would Breckin Meyer and Jennifer Love Hewitt waste their time making this film?

Sleepy Hollow

Christina Ricci, Johnny Depp and Miranda Richardson were great in this.
Johnny Depp is great as Ichabod Crane.
I wouldnt say that it's a horror, but then its not a drama, action or anything else. It has some laughs in it but you couldnt really call it a comedy.

The Truman Show

its sad, but you dont feel bad when you are forced to watch it over and over for a dumb english assignment

The Shawshank Redemption

Had to watch it for English, was good the first time but by the 17th time........... but the first time I watched it I would give it 4 and a half stars

The Virgin Suicides

I found James Woods and Kathleen Turner's characters boring.

I found Kirsten Dunst's character Lux, annoying but I couldnt stop watching her.

The other sisters didnt have much screen time.

The NeverEnding Story III

I liked Jack Black's character 'Slip' the leader of 'The Nasties'. Everyone else came off as idiots.

Punch-Drunk Love

took me a few times, to understand it

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Was expecting something more. There wasnt much dialogue either. And the ending was rushed.

Finally got round to watching it, and I liked it.

I dont think it would have been so great if it wasnt for Wanda Sykes' character Ruby who had the best lines.

Coach Carter
Coach Carter(2005)

Well I didnt want to watch this, but we watched it in class and I actually liked it. So I wouldnt have watched it under any other circumstances but I'm glad that I did see it.

Here on Earth

I turned on the tv and this movie had just started and I saw that Josh Hartnett was in it so I started to watch it.

I could see how the story would play out within 20 mins and I was pissed off when Josh Hartnett got a smaller and smaller part.

I found the ending pretty predictable and sad.

Saving Silverman

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

I could not believe what I saw. I thought it would be great, well it wasnt. The start wasnt exciting then when they bring in the guy that wants to arrest Will and Elizabeth and it just gets worse, the guy wasnt very interesting as a character at all!

Then there were wayyyyy to many plots like saving jack, wills father apears, the 'flying dutchman' crew that want jacks soul, the 'cracken', elizabeth trying to find will, elizabeths dads , 'Tia Daloma' in the swamp, and 'Norrington' I mean 'what the hell'??? and of course the ENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What was with the ending????

I thought the best part of the movie was the part which showed them being on the 'cannibal island'

Was sadly disappointed

Napoleon Dynamite

hmmm i didnt like it i thought it was so lame, but it appears that everyone else loves it, I think I should watch it again and see if I change my mind.

I watched it agin, but no it still bad as ever if not worse

They will never live up to the books
