Somehow I expected so much more of this movie. I thought the emphasis would lie on the politics of Thatcher but instead it was on her illness and the fact that she no longer has control of her current life. Loved the real images in the movie and her imaginary husband Dennis who Thatcher survived, played by Jim Broadbent. Not a masterpiece but a movie I will watch again.
I can hardly call this a good movie because of all horror movies I have seen this one shows absolutely nothing new. The scenery and the lack of colours were attractive but it was not scary enough. When I left theatre I was asked by a lady entering and she asked if it was a good movie and I straight away replied "No, not at all." She seemed disappointed but she would have been even more disappointed after seeing it.
A political movie with a very interesting and emotional script which does not make it boring to watch. Supreme performances of both director George Clooney, Ryan Gosling & the ever-so-brilliant Philip Seymour Hoffman. Definitely worth watching. Unfortunately I will not remember this movie in a few years time.
