My wife and I both thought this movie was exceptional, and we often differ in our tastes... ; ) For what could be classed as a chick-flick, it was great. Heart-warming, not realistic but it'll give you goosebumps guaranteed. Some really artsy takes on music in there - great stuff, touching.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

The only negative comment I can possibly make is that there are a couple of amazing action scenes that look quite similar to scenes in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Perhaps Peter Jackson partially recycled some of the action CGI-stuff instead of being completely original? Amazing movie - saw it in 3D.

In the first half of the movie, seeing Denzil Washington manipulate his way out of impossible dilemmas is intriguing to watch. But as he pulls his butt out of the fire over and over again, it becomes impossibly implausable. Nevertheless, there are enough unexpected twists thrown into the mix to make it a good movie, certainly worth watching. Detective suspense, with outstanding acting from Denzel Washington (of course.)

I found In Time to be a frightening vision of the future, and I'd say it's worth watching. It is a gorgeous film visually, with some thought-provoking ideas. Except for a chillingly good scene where the main characters' Mom tries to cope with inflation in bus fares, most of the character-interactions are pretty much formula stuff. While Justin Timberlake is probably better than most singers when it comes to acting, that's not really saying much...

I gotta admit, I just loved it. I thought it was top-notch escapism!
