I think there's no bigger sucker for happy endings than me ;))
The movie is delightful and utterly inspiring ! Powerful and touching REAL story of women for fought for their rights and won.
It's no privileges, just basic human rights. As one of the characters said it, "it's how it should be" nothing more.
Bravery, commitment, friendship, commitment, perseverance. What more do you want ? Watch it.
It's funny when exactly it happened that I would watch this movie :D
First of all, Hilary Swank looks like a million dollar in this movie.Really <3 She is classy, fit and hot like hell. Now I know what kind of body I want when birthday wish & candles come ^^
The movie itself is interesting but not above average. It starts very promising, but then it get's unnecessarily psychopathic. We get the point, no need to go overboard with ridiculous and disgusting details. And too much violence in the end. No woman could take it standing, not real at all.
Besides that, it's a relaxing and amusing achievement.
I would recommend it. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a charming refreshment, no matter for the off board jump of his character.
You can't make a hero out of anybody or better said, out of any topic.
Successfully playing shy, fearful stammer is not good enough reason to get Oscar for the leading role! Come on...
If Geoffrey Rush had't come in, I would be seriously follow the movie through would be a serious challenge. He's the only one in it who gives this movie any importance.
Not good as I expected. There are some morbid scenes, psycho type, not funny or cool at all.
For example when Robert Downey Jr. hits the kid in the belly because he's misbehaving. And the plot of the whole movie is how he's hyper excited that his wife is going to have a baby. Not just illogical, but gross.
Alos Zach Galifianakis character is not compatible with Downey. The way Downey's character can't stand him is not an act. Ant Zach is not sympatic at all...
In onw word, failure.
