Knowing (2009)

Some good special effects sequences and okay acting by the cast collide with a plot full of holes and a truly ridiculous ending. Not one of Cage's best, but not his worst either. I guess the numbers codes was sorta interesting.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

A good Nicholas Cage movie, with fine acting, okay storyline and cool special effects. Jay Baruchel is annoying but not too bad in this. I liked the scene where they paid homage to Fantasia, that was funny. Alfred Molina was a cool bad guy, even if his sidekick was kinda dumb.

Season of the Witch

Fairly predictable action/horror movie, but Nicholas Cage and Ron Perlman were really good, I liked their relationship and the one-liners. Special effects were cool, and the storyline was okay.

A History of Violence

This movie was not what I expected at all, but it was still good. I don't know why this movie is praised so much, it wasn't spectacular or anything. The plot is weak, with many holes. Only the acting is really good, though William Hurt's accent was atrocious. But it was interesting, and I liked the two criminals in the beginning.

Dread (2009)

It was good, some scenes were gross. I liked the characters and plot of the movie, except the ending was stupid. In all it was mostly interesting, but I wouldn't watch again.
