Definitely the biggest turd of A-list movie quality, if it can even be called that. All of those huge-name actors in the movie must have been really good friends with the director, or the producers just shoveled out piles of gold for casting, but left little to nothing for script or CGI effects. During the middle of the training sequences, I found myself dreading the ending battle with the horrible up-coming villain. Especially since I knew they would just make them unrealistically succeed by some ungodly miracle. This movie made no sense, the characters were stale and flat, and all of these famous, huge name actors just slobber and babble out their performances. It's no wonder half of the no-name actors in this movie never saw a career.

Millennium (1989)

Over-played, and under-scripted, this movie was really, really hard to watch. At some points you think it may get interesting with all off the cool stuff that happens, but alls we are treated to is boring science talk and talk of a horrible future world that is coming, and that they must stop at all costs. Though I usually enjoy Kris Kristofferson movies, this one just seriously didn't cut it. He is way better as a villain.

Very few times was I pleasantly surprised when I had such high expectations for a movie. This one was a hidden gem, an anomaly of its time. Brian Cox, Anna Paquin, and Dylan Baker all put up a fantastic performance. The plots all tie together quite well and the absolute insanity of it all was just a thrill to watch. I tried my best to find something I didn't like about it, but whenever a scene began to slightly drag, it picked up right away with something I didn't expect. If you want a movie for a Halloween party, look no further!
