Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Some things I didn't like much, but there's a lot more that's very good about it. That's all I'll say without spoilers.

Deadpool (2016)

Very foul-mouthed, very gory, and very funny.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
2 years ago via Flixster

Finally got around to writing this. As a nostalgic love letter to 1977's Star Wars, and as a means to hand off the franchise to (excellent!) new characters, this was everything I could have hoped for, and everything I expected. I'm quite ready to forget the prequel trilogy and move on with life, thank you very much. Minor issues, maybe, but who cares, Star Wars is back!

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs by way of Aaron Sorkin. Michael Fassbender does a really good job. Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels great to watch too...okay, maybe not Seth Rogen so much. Much like the Social Network, it isn't exactly flattering to its subject, but it still manages to make him more interesting than I ever thought he was in life.

Pixar hits another home run. You'll be thinking about this movie long after it's over, and it's going to put you through an emotional wringer before it gets there. Without spoiling anything, the bottom line is: just go watch it.
