What surprised me most about Toy Story 3 was that it was very funny. The humor is strong and original and isn't dumbed down for children. It's genuinely funny for kids and adults alike, which is rare even in Pixar films.
I was incredibly bored during this movie. The characters were dull and without any real motivation. The Hatter is lame and certainly not deserving of the status of a main character. The direction was very standard and did nothing new. The pacing was bad and I just didn't care about anything that was happening. The visuals were NOT great. They were dull, brown, and CGI. The 3D wasn't even right. Overall, I can't say it sucked, but it wasn't good.
