Alex's Review of The Narrow Margin
The Narrow Margin(1952)
This movie really surprised me - it's a wonderfully suspenseful story straight out of the film noir era. The less you know about the plot, the better. The story has already got a quick pace that will really draw you in. The dialogue between Charles McGraw and Marie Windsor's characters is particularly sharp. Definitely see this if you're a fan of the genre. Personally, this should be re-made only by someone who truly appreciates the era and could keep the story set in that time. I would cast Amy Adams as Ann Sinclair, mainly because she looks exactly like Jacqueline White, but also because she would be perfect for the role.
