Totally understandable criticisms on your part, I thought the camera was a tad too shaky at the beginning, though I did find it funny having worked with cameras a lot to see that Hud was actually turning the camera off every time he went to record. But it seriously seemed really all over the place for a culture that it's almost second nature to be holding a video camera (taken from Roeper's review). I thought the whole hunting down his girl was directly taken from Anthony Edwards character in Miracle Mile, but I still kind of liked it, it gave them a reason not to just hide until it was all over. And where people say that the characters in Blair Witch Project are annoying (which always surprised me, I liked them very much and cared when they were in danger. Mike was especially likable) I can understand when people say the constant yelling of "Oh My God" becomes irritating. I didn't get a headache or anything, but if I did, no matter how good the film is I would hate it if it were physically hurting me. Still, I loved the idea of a Godzilla story basically being told by extras in the movie and one of Godzilla's 10 min rampages in the films expanded to the full running time. I really liked it a lot.
