Edgar's Review of The Golden Line (Subarnarekha)
Shocking. The way each soul is divided into layers explicitly detailed is astonishing. While witnessing these rough world corners, one naturally arrives to the conclusion that black-and-white photography was often used by movie-makers for their own advantage in order to "obscure" some of the most disturbing external manifestations of our intrinsic malevolence. Truly one of the best Indian films.
