Movie Ratings and Reviews

Atlantis - The Lost Empire

Many people b**** that Disney movies lost charm after Lion King. No. This and The Emperor's New Groove prove them wrong.

Ang Lee should never have been hired to make a comic book movie.

Rocky Balboa
Rocky Balboa(2006)

The perfect inspirational movie.

Failure to Launch

This was funny, more because of Zooey Deschanel than anything.

Very good, but would have been better if Roland Emmerich had taken some advice from the original creators of Godzilla and tried to make it semi-faithful to the phenominal series.

Shrek the Third

Like Pirates and Spider-Man, the third installment in this series fell short of expectations.

The best Pixar film since Toy Story!

If I hadn't already called Knocked Up the funniest movie ever, this would be my choice.

Mars Attacks!

A great Tim Burton film, that was snubbed by the public thanks to the fact it was released 6 months after the overblown SFX flick, Independance Day.

Batman & Robin

Joel Schumacher did a terrible job with this movie. I'm surprised that the actors cast can still get work. This movie, along with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, show people how the poor choice of director can ruin a franschise. With rumors of Alfonso Curion coming back to direct HP and the Deathly Hallows, I sure hope that Warner Brothers has learned this lesson.

Planet of the Apes

If the producers and executives of 20th Century Fox gave Tim Burton a chance to make this film his own way, this would have been the greatest film of the decade. At any rate, it's pretty good.

Agent Cody Banks

Ok, this is a good role for Frankie Muniz, but I really think overall this movie was poorly executed. The synopsis claims it's aimed at awkward teens...nope. This is another Spy Kids franchise. And Hilary Duff is completely worthless.

Batman Begins

Christopher Nolan single handedly saved the Batman franchise with this film. I cannot wait for the next two Batman films he has signed on to direct, the first of which (The Dark Knight) comes out next summer!

Brendan Fraser at his best!

Die Hard 2
Die Hard 2(1990)

The spectacular sequel to Die Hard...perfect movie.

Knocked Up
Knocked Up(2007)

Funniest. Movie. Ever.

Chicken Little

Zach Braff doesn't sound like himself masked behind a CGI chicken, but his comedic energy shines through all the same. Great!

Batman Forever

Warner Brothers demoted Tim Burton to the rank of producer and replaced him with Joel Schumacher: one of the worst decisions in the history of Hollywood. Schumacher would continue his reign of terror with Batman & Robin, almost killing the juggernaut Batman franchise. Batman Forever (with Burton as a producer) wasn't as bad as it could have been. B&R is the proof it could have been much MUCH worse.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

The best in terms of faithfulness to the books.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events

The director of this movie is a hack. He might as well have killed Snicket.

The Santa Clause

Very, very good. The sequels, not so much.

Wayne's World 2

YES! A great sequel!

Dumb and Dumber

Very good with what they had to work with.

Groundhog Day

Great movie! Bill Murray at his best!

The Flintstones

This actually was pretty bad. I liked Rick Moranis as Barney, and Goodman is definitly the right size to play Fred, but overall this movie sucked. I've never seen the sequel/prequel but I hope that they really improved...well...everything.

The Chronicles of Riddick

I thought it was really good, even though I've never seen Pitch Black.

It's ok, but it gets really obnoxious after a while.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

I had expected alot more from this movie, and I was disappointed.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Ok. A good sequel, but could have been so much more.

The Last Mimzy

Pretty good. I don't think I would have gone if it hadn't been for Rainn Wilson though.

License to Wed

YES! This is the Robin Williams movie I've been waiting for!

I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry

Funny! and Creepy! in the extreme!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Amazingly faithful to the book (considering the source material is 800+ pages). Plus I'm a sucker for Bonnie Wright.

Amazing. A masterpiece. I usually am not a big fan of horror, but this movie really got me going! I think I'm going to have to start going to more horror movies now!

RoboCop 3
RoboCop 3(1993)

Awesome! RoboCop 3 is genius!

Laugh out loud funny. No joke.

Titan A.E.
Titan A.E.(2000)

Cartoon apocalyptic science fiction adventure! Visually stunning!

Great movie! Wow!

Blades of Glory

Bringing funny back to the big screen.
Will Ferrel and Jon Heder rise to the challenge.

Edward Scissorhands

Tim Burton at his best!

Meet the Robinsons

Wow, those who say that Disney isn't the animation capital of the world obviously haven't seen this movie. Ten times better than Valiant and a hundred times better than Chicken Little!

It's like Stuart from MadTV on the big screen! Love it!

Fantastic Four

I cannot believe they are making a sequel. Why doesn't Fox ever learn? (Because they have money, that's why!)

Mr. Deeds
Mr. Deeds(2002)

Ick. Come on, why bother?

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Hello, my name a Borat...
comic genius from scene one.

The Lost World - Jurassic Park

Eh, nothing for Spielburg or Crichton to brag about.

The Astronaut Farmer

Great, uplifting movie that really gets you thinking.

All Dogs Go To Heaven 2

Come on, it's a movie that you love when you're a kid and never grow out of.

The Time Machine

The best time travel movie ever made. There isn't anything more to say.

Hot Shots! Part Deux

So funny. Beyond words. Don't even get #1, just rent this one and you'll see how amazingly funny this movie is.

Batman Returns

Awesome! The only reason this movie gets a bad reputation is because moronic parents took their five year olds to a PG-13 movie. Astonishing, better than any other superhero movie made in the 90s

The best superhero movie of all time!

Bridge to Terabithia

An amazing movie that will stick with you for years to come.
