Better than the book, in my opinion, because you get to see it in a better and truly vivid way. The book is mostly dialogue/gossip. It can go into any time format because the writing wasn't truly specific on scenery and atmosphere. This is the best rendition of the book, in my opinion also.
I realy liked how this started. a young girl misconstrues a situation and turns everything topsy-turvy because she only saw things in a twisted way.Because of a couple of incidints, she makes these 2 characters extremely lonely and unhappy for the rest of their lives. So she becomes an author, writes a book about them and makes them happy. The ending was a cop-out. It was a jip. And it makes you feel sad yet happy for these characters. Its one of those "I wish that would have never happened" things.
I only wanted to see this because Dominic Monoghan, plays Charlie in lost, was in it.. It is so funny. It's a british kung-fu movie. HAHA. It was so bad, it was good. The acting was good, they just took themselves so seriously it was cheesy.
OK, ok. This movie isn't great. It has bad acting and is kind of cheesy. But, the first time I saw it I was 8 years old and I was pretty scared. It's got demons running amuck in a church that has a portal to hell?!! But you cant leave because there are these zombie crack heads outside who attack you. So you're stuck in a church with demons. YOu have no where to go and the devil's all MWA HAHA. You get the picture right?
