I went into this movie not knowing anything about it other than it won a Golden Globe, George Clooney was in it, and something happened to his wife. I didn't expect to find such a moving film about a man who doesn't know his family but is forced into this situation where he has to raise his two children and deal with a wife in a coma. George Clooney does an exceptional job as Matt King, his emotions always on the brink of exploding but never boiling over. I was blown away by the actress who played Alexandra. Such a profound performance for someone at such a young age.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It was suspenseful, creepy, crazy, heartbreaking...just so good. Very interesting premise. I kept trying to think of how it was going to end and kept coming up blank. Rachelle Lefevre was perfect in this role, never overacting the scenes. I believed her performance. Stephen Moyer impressed me here as well, as I tend to find that he falls flat on movies done outside of True Blood. Great movie

Ummm...I don't even know what happened here. The description on the back of the movie is a complete lie. There are multiple story lines going on and the one you're paying the most attention to apparently doesn't matter. Horrible.

No dialogue for the first 20 minutes. No one in this movie has a name - except for the boat guy. Shane West says 3 words the entire movie - and they're all the way at the end. While it was an interesting story and the director proved that you didn't need a ton of dialogue to get a point across, some points were just lost. The movie was very slow paced and hardly any questions were answered.

But seriously, did anyone actually like this? It was just horrible...
