Tim's Review of Django Unchained
Cristoh Waltz once again steels the show for Tarantino, though the rest of the cast does a mighty fine job to on this Western/Blackspoitation film. My only complaints are that it to me it feels stretched at 2 hr and 46 minutes, a couple scenes feel repeated in theme and visuals and they aren't even spaced very far apart in the film and while I know Quentin loves his blood the shoot out near the end was almost comedically bloody (it's like he got a hell of deal on squibs and just couldn't bring himself not to use them). The Dialogue is witty which is good as there is a lot of it, it's also a very funny film. All in all a lot of fun is to be had, with just a touch of uncomfortable which is unavoidable considering the nasty business of slavery.
