What a unique concept, good acting, you root for the protagonists in the movie and you have plenty of people/things to root against in the movie as well. Part of the story where your protagonist has a skill, that they then use to come out on top later on is a hollywood staple for movies. Great performance by Jennifer Lawrence, it's got drama, future sci-fi, and bits of action for flavor. I can honestly say this isn't something that the teen crowd can only enjoy, as a mid 30s man I enjoyed it and I'd recommend watching it at least once.

This movie adds some depth to Will Smith's character, it also adds some history to the M.I.B. agency and why earth is so safe from attack in the future. I was hoping for a tiny bit more banter from Will and Tommy Lee's characters but there's enough there to make it a solid movie. At this point I'd say the storyline is a little strained, and unless thing's change in the next M.I.B. movie then this will be the last enjoyable one they make.

So this movie was good for several reasons, it takes you out of your comfort zone as a viewer and a batman fan by watching batman oppose someone who was just as scary if not more so than he is. You couple that with the fact that during the movie he loses access to all his money and it adds another layer. The voice of Bane was strange, and sometimes hard to take seriously as a villain. But this movie packs it all, action scenes, a protagonist who gets into actual trouble and of course a female counterpart. I don't know if they will be able to make another batman with the ending they chose, but it's certainly on my highly recommended list of movies.

This movie gives you plenty of ass-kicking without Matt Damon in it. Not that I would have minded another installment from him. Jeremy Renner certainly brings a fresh face to the movie series, and does not disappoint. It's also nice to see some of the "drone" technology in these movies now. The primary character in the movie is likable, the story line is easy to follow and of course any movie with Rachel Weisz is a win in my book!
