A mostly great and entertaining cast that would have been amazing if they were put in a live action adaptation of Assault on Arkham rather than this magical CGI fuckery that feels like every other movie this summer, edited by a trailer company that wants to share all the songs on their playlist.
Its never boring but also rarely ever funny. It feels less like a Ghostbusters film and more like a Paul Feig movie. It works better as a follow up to Spy, but also can't stop referencing the original Ghostbusters with a gag or cameo almost every 10-15 minutes. The cast is probably the most enjoyable thing about the movie who you can tell are having a great time with this. I think a lot of people will like this movie, but I can't help but think about how much better it could have been.
