Frickin amazing! I LOVE this movie! And no, not only because Andrew Divoff is in it (a fave actor of mine). But OMG he's so sexy in this movie. I also love it because it has edge of the seat action and a kick ass plot! All acting was also very well done. Now this is on my favorite movie list!
Almost as good as the first one, but not as quite. The acting of the main female character was better than that of the first, I think. And of course, you have Andrew Divoff as the Djinn again, who is just perfect for the role. He did a better job in the first, but I hate movies that make a sequel and cast different actors for the same role.
OMG I really thought this was going to be another crappy old horror movie that I would laugh at. Silly me! Andrew Divoff in a bad role? Never! He's so scary and sexy as the Djinn (well sexy in the human form that is) and intense! It was also pretty damn creepy and made me jump more than a few times. I love the idea of this movie and enjoyed it thouroghly.
Brilliant. Moving. Will Smith's best role ... he portrayed the "survivor trying not to go crazy" role perfectly. There are too many end of the human race movies out there, but out of those, about 10% are as good as this movie.
This movie looked like it was going to be really, really good and moving. It really wasn't. Movies like this normally put me in tears in the end, but this one didn't. All because Christian Bale's character wasn't right. Throughout the entire movie, he acted like he knew he wasn't going to die. Nothing phased him, nothing bothered him. The other guys that were prisoners ACTED like prisoners: beaten down, scared for their lives, starved. Christian Bale did not. Because of this, the movie sucked. It could have been so much better.
This was hilarious and though predictable at times, I really enjoyed it. It also shows just how horrible people can be towards those who are gay, and it really makes me sad to see that kind of stuff. But I really did enjoy this movie :D
Not that good. The damn vampire could have pried open the bars easily. It was so predictable that I could even say out loud the next line and get it right word for word. But all in all, a good movie if you just want to be entertained.
I can see how this day and age It isn't that scary, but on the other hand I can understand how kids would be terrified of this movie back when it came out. Nowadays we have such better special effects and acting than we did back then, which is why all these people on here that gave it bad ratings. Those who give it good ratings can see it for the story and hidden meanings and can appreciate a good tale, not needing flashy special effects :) And thumbs up to Tim Curry being his creepy self once again :P
