I'm glad to see filmmakers not shying away from complex storylines, but Tenet felt underdeveloped, scriptwise. Robert Pattinson's performance was particularly poor, holding back the movie as he could have helped to fill in some gaps of character development. Instead, the main character was left kind of dangling without a foil.
Underdeveloped characters, underdeveloped motivations, Affleck didn't really carry Batman, too long, and full of clumsy things like illusions to other parts of the universe.
Pretty much unwatchable. Terrible acting, terrible script, plot holes, and really childish jokes.
I'd like to believe this was a parody, but it was marketed as a serious movie.
Lots of plot holes and details that didn't make sense. Timing issues. An uncompelling plot. This wasn't worth watching, just a superficial action movie.
The plot didn't make sense, motivations went unexplained, the expansion of force powers undermined their part in the story, and the treasure hunt in the movie was not compelling.
I could go on and on. The movie was disappointing.
I was rewatching the movie, and it honestly is a big disappointment. from plot points that were illogical through poor character development, it's a shame this movie ended up the way it did.
