Breathtaking, amazing, spectacular. This is a masterpiece. Easily best Marvel Studios film to date.
The beating over the head of trying to push Miles Teller down our throats continues.
Looks like a complete mess.
A stupid, formulaic stinker of a movie. Wish I could get my money back.
This was made for the fans. Not paying attention to the critics. I've seen every single one in theaters and will keep seeing them. Will update review once I see it. UPDATE - I am happy to report that those who like the Saw franchise should enjoy this one. I could certainly nitpick but I'm not. John Kramer back in cinemas is a welcome sight. This movie was everything I thought it would be. Really enjoyed it and hope another one comes next Halloween.
As visually impressive film as I've ever seen with some visuals rivaling that of Avatar. The story however dragged and some parts were dull. This is a long film with a lot of slow parts. Could have been edited better but overall a decent film. The visuals alone make this one to recommend and reflect my rating. The dullness and long drawn out story are not reflected in my rating.
Lacks the cool factor of the original and surprisingly very prejudice against those in the south. Also, Julianne Moore's villain was nothing compared to Samuel L. Jackson's villain in the original.
What the heck did I just watch? Just plain bad and awful all the way around. This was like sticking needles in your eyes. Just terrible and painful to sit through.
Very solid movie that had some terrifying moments but the only thing that keeps this from being an instant classic to me and this is very minor is the occasional dialogue that is out of place and bad acting that goes along with that dialogue. Some points the kid actors just yell and it wasn't very believable.
Please enough of these films already. There is no reason for these anymore. The first one was entertaining and they all after that have gotten progressively worse.
A perfect car heist movie with action that's not been seen since "Drive". It's the kind of movie that "The Fast and the Furious" films wish they could be. The soundtrack, the action, all top notch. It beautifully captures Atlanta and this is coming from an Atlanta native. This is top level filmmaking and a lot of fun.
A game changer in every sense of the word. The best movie of the year so far and this film really pushes the limits on what a superhero film or any film can be for that matter.
Not going to win any academy awards anytime soon, but this was a surprisingly fun ride. There's really not much new here but I'll tell you something there's just something special about watching Idris Elba shoot his way through everything.
Not sure who I liked more in this but I'd probably have to go with Daniel Craig. This movie is brilliant as are most every Steven S. films. I loved this film. Every second was great. I'm not sure how Steven S. is able to do it but he's managed to actually make Channing Tatum a likeable actor and that's not a knock on Tatum it's just that Steven S has enormous talent and he's able to use that talent to help Tatum. This film is highly original and one of the year's best.
Do they expect to make money if you have no marketing at all?
Perhaps no other film is as important to a franchise as Wonder Woman is to the DCEU. After the universally panned Batman vs. Superman and the relatively lackluster Man of Steel as well as the disappointing Suicide Squad, the success or failure of Wonder Woman would drastically reshape wherever the DCEU would go from here. And I'm happy to report, Wonder Woman reinvigorates the DCEU. While there are obvious comparisons to Captain America the First Avenger, its Gal Gadot and Chris Pine that carry this movie and both are really good here. There is comedy, great action, romance, and lots of heart. Also a lot of the themes here feel very socially relevant. Some iffy CGI moments that felt rushed are the only complaint here which kept me from rating 5 stars but everything else works. I loved this film. And it's the first time I felt like the line between DC and Marvel has blurred and that's a good thing for comic book fans. If Justice League and future DCEU films are anything like this then look out, some great films are coming.
Really ridiculous and ludicrous twist. One of the worst movies of the year.
Looks absolutely terrible and nothing like the show.
