Graham's Review of Cloud Atlas
A rich tapestry of a film. A seemingly impossible task pulled off rather well. The constant jumping between timelines and stories meant that, even at almost 3 hours in length, it was brilliantly paced and never boring. The diferent genres helped this too.
It's quite beautiful too. The effects are staggering, as is the make-up. Well sometimes the make-up is. Sometimes notsomuch however in the credits hen you are shown the different characters each actor plays, there is at least one per actor that is a surprise.
It's only real fault is that the stories are quite confusing and very vague. I'm still not quite sure what was going on!
