True Grit
True Grit(2010)

Everything about this movie - the scenery, the acting, the story - make this a huge success. What a movie and a tremendous remake to the original starring The Duke. I love Jeff Bridges and I think he's one of the great actors of our time.

I just love movies with Liam Neeson kicking major ass. This movie is chock full of that. I loved it and the twists.

This definitely wasn't as scary or as good as the trailer made it seem. I was really disappointed and couldn't help but laugh out loud at some scenes.

The Hangover Part II

Just as good and crazier than the first one. There were scenes in this that had me rolling and there were scenes that had me legitimately cringing. I don't know where these writers and actors come up with this material. A normal person thinking this stuff up would have to be checked into a mental ward.

Green Lantern

I really enjoyed this movie. I thought Ryan Reynolds was great in it, the story was fun, the action was great, and the effects were spot on. There were some things that made me scratch my head but nothing that prevented me from having a great time watching it. I heard some people rumbling leaving the theater that they didn't like it but it was a midnight showing and they were probably just tired and cranky.

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I love this movie. I watch it every Christmas. God bless Dr. Deuss.

Assault on Precinct 13

I remember this being a solid movie. I haven't seen it in a while though.

Ju-on 2 (Ju-on: The Grudge 2)

Really scary movie. I don't know what it is about Japanese originals and their American remakes. The Japs always are more scary and twisted. I loved it and I was terrified by it! I even had trouble going to sleep! Good, scary stuff!

Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire

This was a tremendous movie. It was really depressing but the performances were amazing.

The Fourth Kind

I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would. It was truly scary... until I found out that it wasn't actually based on any fact whatsoever.

This was really cool. Lots of blood and death for no reason. The ending was weird but I enjoyed myself.

The Blind Side

This was a great movie. Sandra deserved the Oscar for this.

Date Night
Date Night(2010)

It was pretty funny. I liked it.

Whatever Works

Larry David was pretty good here. It was your typical Woody Allen flick.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3

Awesome movie. John Travolta rules in this. I really enjoyed it.

Drag Me to Hell

Stupid and at times pathetically funny.

The Hangover
The Hangover(2009)

The end made the whole movie!

Another amazing movie from Pixar. Best one yet! What a beautiful story!

The Last House on the Left

This was a bad ass movie. Highly enjoyable stuff due to watching the family just dominate the bad guys. See it!

Year One
Year One(2009)

This was just plain bad. Very few parts that could be considered funny. The rest was just... ugh.

Public Enemies

I was excited to see this movie until I started watching it. It was pretty boring. Johnny Depp is a great actor but even he couldn't save this one. My only props go for staying true to history and having a nice environment to show.

The Proposal
The Proposal(2009)

This was a pretty good movie. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds have good chemistry. The story was nice. Betty White was the best in this. Definitely had me cracking up. Good stuff.

Definitely not the greatest movie I've ever seen. It could have been better than it was. There were a lot of missed opportunites on good scares and the villian, and ending for that matter, was predictable. It's a shame, because I love the environment they were in.

Nim's Island
Nim's Island(2008)

This was a really nice movie. Abigail Breslin is a great actress. Jodie Foster was great in this as well. Really nice story and made me feel like a kid watching it.

A Christmas Carol

This is totally old school. I saw this at my grandparent's house when I was six. I still remember this. A good classic.

This is the first movie I've seen since The Shining that completely scared and unnerved me - and I saw The Shining when I was seven. Props to that kid - she's a good actress. The plot was great and the twist is one I never suspected in a million years. This was tremendous and definitely number 2 on my Top 10 Scary Movies list!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I thought this was tremendous. It was way better than the Order of the Phoenix (that was the weakest book in my opinion). They stayed true to the story, the visual effects were brilliant, the acting was good, and even though I read the book my breath was still taken away by some of the things brought to life. Even better than I imagined. My second favorite behind Chamber of Secrets.

The Aviator
The Aviator(2004)

Pretty good movie. I would have liked them to go into Hughes' older life - but I guess that doesn't leave room for a triumphant end!

Herbie: Fully Loaded

I saw this at a Drive In Theater. It was the lead in to Bewitched - I can't decide which one was worse!

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

Not a huge fan of the series but the movie was funny enough.

Jingle All the Way

Pretty good Christmas movie. Any movie that teams up Ah-nold and Sinbad is all right in my opinion!

It Takes Two
It Takes Two(1995)

I always liked this movie. It's not the greatest movie ever but it puts me right back into my childhood on the rare times it's ever on TV.

Dude, Where's My Car?

Not the funniest "high-teen" movie I've ever seen but not the worst. Just another stoner flick.

The Mummy
The Mummy(1999)

The last time I saw this was in 1999 but I remember not really liking it all that much. I'm not much of a Brendan Fraser fan.

Definitely one of the better horror movies I've seen recently. It was genuinely scary, really gory, and overall, really enjoyable! The story actually MADE SENSE, a rarity in horror movies these days. Well thought out and well explained, even though I had to read about it on Wikipedia to really get everything!

This movie was just OK. I'm not sure that movies about terrorism should be made just yet being that we're in the midst of a war right now. Maybe if the story was better...

Mad Money
Mad Money(2008)

Pretty blah. It was released in theaters in January so that pretty much sums it up.

Fool's Gold
Fool's Gold(2008)

Not too bad! It was better than I thought it was going to be! This was a lot of fun!

It was good in the beginning and then the story took a turn for the worse.

Balls of Fury

Funny... but not really.

Even though there's hardly any talking in this, this was one of the better movies I saw in 2008.

You Don't Mess With the Zohan

Not the best Sandler movie I've ever seen.

The Heartbreak Kid

Really raunchy and not in the funny way. It was just OK.

Resurrecting the Champ

Samuel L. Jackson is a great character actor and he really shines in this movie that is otherwise dull.

88 Minutes
88 Minutes(2008)

Wow... Al Pacino... what were you thinking signing up for this movie?! Brutal!

Chapter 27
Chapter 27(2007)

It was an OK movie. That's all I really have to say.

AWESOME MOVIE! I was a little skeptical about this one because I wasn't a fan of Transformers to begin with nor Shia LaBeouff but it turned out my fears were unfounded as this was really great!

Friday the 13th

Not a good sign for a horror movie if me and my girlfriend are laughing almost the whole time. Not the best remake I've ever seen.

Marie Antoinette

I saw a little bit of this and despised it. Horrible stuff.

Crimson Tide
Crimson Tide(1995)

Pretty good movie. Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman are both great actors but this movie is only pretty good. It gets a little dull at times but it's definitely watchable and enjoyable.

Erin Brockovich

This was really great. Julia Roberts was tremendous in this. It's a really great, true story and I definitely recommend it.

Minority Report

This was really great! Tom Cruise is really good in this and the action in this is great as well. Really neat look into the future, even if it's totally impossible. Speilberg always does a TREMENDOUS job!

Father of the Bride

Really nice family movie. Steve Martin is a really great comedic actor and he really shines in this, as does the great Diane Keaton.

Bicentennial Man

Not a bad movie! It's not the best I've ever seen but it's not the worst either. Robin Williams is pretty good in this but I was really excited when Dr. Alan Grant was in it!

Dial M for Murder

Like all Hitchcock movies, this is crazy! I really enjoyed this one.

Pretty good movie. I'm not a fan of Whoopi Goldberg in this and I'm not sure how she won the Oscar that year. Still it was a pretty good movie - but what was the deal with the love making covered in clay?

The Wrestler
The Wrestler(2008)

Oh my God! What a fucking movie! Mickey Rourke is unreal in this! What a performance! The story is tremendous, the acting is spot on (how did Mickey Rourke not win the Oscar?!), and the story is really heart warming and real. Thank you Mickey Rourke and welcome back!

Zack and Miri Make a Porno

This was absolutely hilarious. I was expecting it to be pure raunch and no story. I was wrong on the latter! The story was really nice and it was really raunchy. My favorites! This is a great comedy and I highly recommend it!

Halloween II
Halloween II(1981)

Not nearly as good as the first movie. The storyline is really hokey and stupid. Michael Myers was also really lame as well in this.

Four Christmases

This was a pretty funny movie. It wasn't the best Christmas movie I've ever seen but it definitely wasn't the worst. The story lost me a bit in the middle but it made good in the end. I recommend it. Not highly but I recommend it.

Fun movie. Mara Wilson is a little annoying but it's still good. I love Danny DeVito. He's the man.

Richie Rich
Richie Rich(1994)

Pretty good movie. Macaulay Culkin is a little annoying but not enough to tarnish my fond childhood memories of watching this film.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Who doesn't love this classic?

One of my favorite Halloween movies ever. This is a strangely great movie.

This wasn't a bad movie. Mel Gibson plays the part of the doting father missing his son well. I liked the scene where Rene Russo beats the crap out of him. All in all it wasn't bad.

Saw V
Saw V(2008)

To say I was disappointed in this would be an understatement. It seemed like they didn't really know where to take this now that Jigsaw is dead so they're just winging it. It's a little unrealistic to think that a detective is just walking around basically narrating the movie for us while looking at a random file and figuring out everything in one sitting. Jigsaw was smart - would he really leave that many loose ends? Disappointing.

This was an excellent movie. All great movies take you on a rollercoaster of emotions and this one sure does just that. It's based on the true events of a mother looking for her missing son and a corrupt police department along with a homicidal lunatic. It's an amazing, scary and stressful story. I got stressed out at times because I couldn't believe how unjust this woman was treated by the people supposed to be protecting her. My only criticism is that for someone who lost her child she just always looks perfect with the red lipstick. Really? Come on now. But still Angelina puts on a great performance and Clint Eastwood of course does a tremendous job.

Boys Don't Cry

What a great movie! Hillary Swank was brilliant in this. Probably one of the worst hate crimes of the 20th century. This poor girl. I'm glad the story is known in this movie. We've come a long way since then.

Nine Months
Nine Months(1995)

I like this movie. It's so funny. Robin Williams is great in this. So is Hugh Grant. Julianne Moore on the other hand... not so much. I don't like her. If you can tolerate her then you'll like this movie. It's good anyway.

I was surprised by how much I disliked this movie. Normally I'm all for a movie with Morgan Freeman in it but even he was underwhelming in this. I just didn't like the story and the whole direction. Not one of Stephen King's best stories. This stunk.

Lakeview Terrace

Awesome. Your typically great Samuel L. Jackson movie. He was terrific as always. Great story. It was a bit unsettling at times but you need stories like that sometimes! See this!!

Excellent movie. I really enjoyed this. It was strange and unexpected. I loved it. Adrienne Shelly - we lost you too soon!

Excellent movie. Very well acted and a pretty good story. Don Cheadle is a tremendous actor and really carried this movie playing a man playing both sides of international crime. It was almost unnerving watching some of the things because this crap happens a lot all around us. Terrorism a scary thing and I'm just worried this movie will give them ideas. Scary. Still, though, it was real good.

Conspiracy Theory

Definitely an interesting movie. The scene where Mel Gibson has his eyes taped open is insane! Good stuff and definitely interesting.

Small Soldiers

Toys that try and kill people? Badass.

In the Land of Women

Adam Brody was hilarious, as was his grandma in this. Other than that the story is a little dull and Meg Ryan is annoying. Oh well.

No Reservations

Boy was I surprised with this one! This was terrific! Ya gotta love Catherine Zeta Jones and Abigail Breslin. Two Face is awesome in this one too. Just a really nice movie. I definitely recommend it!

Very cute movie. It was funny at times and a lot of fun but it had some issues with things happening way too fast and things of that nature. Continuity. Still really good and I liked the songs.

The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause

Nice, generic Christmas movie. It doesn't hold a candle to the original Santa Clause.

Monsters, Inc.

It was really cute, especially the little girl. It was definitely creative and lots of fun but it was too short! I just wish it was a little longer. I was just getting into it and it's over! Still it's good.

Walk the Line

Johnny Cash was the man. A great musician and a legend. Sure he had his flaws - who doesn't?? Great movie. Reese Whitherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix are perfect in this.

Mr. Woodcock
Mr. Woodcock(2007)

Eh it had it's good moments but it's not one of those comedies that would make me laugh at the same thing twice.

Step Brothers

I was scared to see this after seeing Dewey Cox days before and I shouldn't have been. This movie was absolutely hilarious. Is it the greatest comedy I've ever seen? No, it isn't... but it's the funniest I've seen in a while and it was funny enough where I didn't think I wasted my money. See this - you'll enjoy it... if you're into crude humor that is.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

Not the best comedy I've ever seen. It had a few good points in it but too many bad points to really be tolerable and memorable. Thank God I rented it because I would have been pissed seeing this in the theaters. My mom couldn't even finish it. She went to bed not even half way through. My girlfriend and I suffered through to the end and it wasn't worth it.

Freedom Writers

I really enjoyed this. I watched it on Starz On Demand and I figured I'll watch half and go to sleep and watch the rest the next day. Oh well, I didn't end up doing that. This movie was so good I woke up and just watched the whole thing straight through. I loved it. My girlfriend was on me to see it for a while and now she's doing the "I told ya so" thing. Anyway, it's awesome - see it!

A good movie. It was thrilling and kind of scary for the last 2/3 of it. It got a little slow at times but overall it was good. I just wish it had a real ending.

The Money Pit

This movie was hilarious. Tom Hanks was the man back in his comedy days. Don't get me wrong - he still is the man, I'm just saying this was great work. The house and all the things that went wrong were hilarious. I guess this is one of Shelley Long's attempts to break away from Cheers. She was good in this but Tom was better. I wasn't a big fan of the ending but the rest was great!

The Dark Knight

I've seen some damn good movies in 2008 and this one takes the cake. I know I'm still just coming down from the high of seeing this but this is tied for first for my favorite Batman movie of all time (and superhero for the matter!). The whole movie is brilliant. There's a lot going on but it's not too much where it's hard to follow. It's well written, well directed, well acted and visually and aesthetically pleasing! I really loved this. Heath Ledger was 100% brilliant. He was so good I forgot he was dead. Didn't spoil it for me at all like I had feared. Long live Heath Ledger, The Joker and the Batman franchise!

Really scary movie! Steven Spielberg rules, even in the 70s. It still makes me think when I go in the ocean. Even the ride scares the hell out of me. Great movie!

Ice Age
Ice Age(2002)

I liked this movie. It was real cute and the story was really nice. Good stuff.

Grandma's Boy

Pretty funny movie. Allen Covert is a pretty funny guy and I didn't really realize it until this movie. Good stuff. Dorris Roberts was funny as hell too.

Are We Done Yet?

Not as good as the first one in terms of humor but the story and the point to the story were right up there if not better. This was a really nice movie and I really liked it.

Deep Blue Sea

Not a bad movie at all. Samuel L. Jackson is the fucking man in this as usual. I just love it when he's talking and all of a sudden, for no reason, he's shark bait. It was exciting. And everyone but LL Cool J and that other guy dies! Yes!

The Benchwarmers

Hilarious. It's such a stupid, irrelevant movie but it's so damn funny. I couldn't stop laughing. It's good. Jon Lovitz rules.

Failure to Launch

It's not a bad movie at all. I didn't think it would be that great nor that funny but it was. It had a nice little story to it - far out, but nice. There were some continuity problems that I found and I could have done without seeing Terry Bradshaw's nasty, cheesy, dimpled ass but it was still good.

The 4th Floor

I really enjoyed this! It's a great white knuckle movie. Pretty good plot, good twists, scary people. It's mix of Rear Window and other classics. Just good stuff. I liked it a lot.

Pretty brutal. No... really brutal.

There Will Be Blood

Well acted, well written and well directed. Recipe for a brilliant movie. The story was fantastic and hauntingly dark. Daniel Day Lewis is a complete and total badass in this. I want to move out to Texas, grow a mustache, I DRINK YOUR MILK and just murder someone with a bowling pin. Intense. Great movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

Probably the weakest movie of the trilogy. Too much story to keep up with, too many weird subplots, just a little too much of everything and it wasn't a good thing. On the flip side the special effects were brilliant and it looked really good on my new HDTV. That was the good part. Other than that it was overly weak end for the series and just an OK movie.

Murder at 1600

Not a bad political thriller. I enjoyed it. It had good action and a good story. I kind of guessed who dunnit from the beginning but they threw little things in there that would make you sway your judgments but I got it right in the end. Good movie.

The Hoax
The Hoax(2007)

I never thought for one second that a movie about writing a fake book would be so intriguing and exciting. I really enjoyed this movie and thought it was well written and acted and I can't believe it's a true story! It dragged a little towards the end but it was still really good and I recommend checking it out!

Rinne (Reincarnation)

Not the worst. There were some genuinely scary moments in this. It wasn't the best story though and some things didn't make sense. It's just something about the japanese movies... sometimes they're just scary for no reason.

The Strangers

Man, I can't believe when I read on IMDB.com that this was the director's first time ever directing and writing. It was a great old school movie - the old scare tactics, the old mind games, the old dialogue. It wasn't a gorefest like has become the norm for all new horror movies, which I'm happy about. Scary and disturbing are two different things. Liv Tyler's character was the only thing that annoyed me in this movie. She was so fucking loud I almost expected her character to fart when it got really quiet. If you're sneaking around trying to save your life you'd seriously try to make as little noise as possible. Annoying. Other than that it was great.

Iron Man
Iron Man(2008)

Easily one of the coolest movies I've seen in the past five years. This was just a fantastic, action packed spectacle. It was funny, stunning, tense - everything I would want in an action movie. Robert Downey Jr. is hilarious and he's awesome in this. Awesome movie. You need to see this.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

It was scary but not really. It was really just OK. The original was so much better! Nice try though!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Not a bad follow up from the fantastic Curse of the Black Pearl. It was real funny, well acted, a good story and the special effects were out of this world! Davy Jones was unreal! Props to those guys who designed him! I'm looking forward to seeing the third one!

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I love Indiana Jones and I loved this movie. It was all I hoped for and more. This is my first time seeing Indiana Jones in the movies and it was great. Steven Spielberg is the man and so is Harrison Ford. The acting was great, the action was great, the plot was great, the special effects were great. I just really liked it. I was that Sean Connery was in it but that's OK. They say he was dead by that point - but if he drank from the Holy Grail wouldn't he just live forever... or did he commit suicide? Who knows!! Maybe I'm thinking into it too deeply. Anyway, I loved this and it was great.

A History of Violence

I hated this movie. I guess I'm just not a big Viggo Mortensen fan. This just didn't do anything for me.

Scary Movie 3

All the scary movies are funny. This one is no different. These are the only good parody movies. Things like Date Movie, Superhero Movie, yeah, they all sucked. Scary Movie is good.

The General's Daughter

This is a really great movie. The plot is strong as hell and that's all thanks to the writing. Nelson DeMille is one hell of a writer. I love all his books. I really hope they make Cathedral into a movie. That's my favorite book. Anyway, I digress. It's a great movie I just don't really enjoy John Travolta. He makes too many faces. He tried too hard. Oh well. It's still really good. And graphic!!

The Fan
The Fan(1996)

This should have been a great movie being that Robert DeNiro and Wesley Snipes, the tax evader, were in this movie. However, those two talents couldn't save this sham. The script was terrible, the acting was terrible and the plot really sucked. Just a terrible movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

I had no intention of seeing this movie when it came out but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it on DVD at how awesome it was. The special effects were out of this world, the dialogue was hilarious, and the acting (Johnny Depp rules) was awesome. I can't wait to see the other two movies. You can't spell pirate without IRATE!

Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider(2007)

Pretty cool movie. The special effects were great, as was Nicolas Cage, who normally is brilliant. I like his work and I like what they did with this. I'm not a motorcycle enthusiast by any means but this was cool. I'd recommend it.

27 Dresses
27 Dresses(2008)

It had some funny parts to it, like the butchering of Bennie and The Jets, but mostly it was pretty brutal and not funny. Oh, really predictable too. I hate when movies are like that. Just barely OK.

Trading Places

Not a bad movie! Eddie Murphy was hilarious in the 80s. And whoa Jamie Lee Curtis!!

Uncle Buck
Uncle Buck(1989)

Tremendously funny movie. John Candy was a comedic legend. I love this movie - especially the part with the drunk clown.

Hilarious. Rodney Dangerfield and Ted Knight make this film. A true classic.

Beverly Hills Cop III

Man they should have left it at 2 movies... and even that's pushing it! Terrible stuff.

Fantastic movie. Well written, well acted, well directed, well set. Everything was tremendous. The action is second to none as well. 300 definitely took a lead from this movie. Russell Crowe is the man. He's a great actor. See this movie!

The Illusionist

A surprising movie for me! I hadn't heard many good things about this movie and with the way it opened up I was starting to believe what I had already read but then it changed directions and it got really good! I liked the tricks and the acting of course was terrific. Edward Norton was fantastic, as was Paul Giamatti, one of my favorites. The ending caught me completely be surprise too! Fantastic!

What Women Want

This was absolutely hilarious. It's an interesting concept to read the minds of women and with the direction of Nancy Meyers it comes off perfectly in this movie. Mel Gibson is absolutely hilarious in this as probably the luckiest man in the world. Helen Hunt was terrific as always - and hilarious. I love her. And Marisa Tomei is fucking hot. The end.

Flags of Our Fathers

Not a bad movie. Average war film. The cinematography was above average and Clint Eastwood is a tremendous director however I think the writing of the script wasn't that great. It just feels like they didn't stay on any one part of the film long enough for you to even really care. I wish they didn't get into the meat of the battle and then cut it off before it even had a chance to be great. The end was way too dragged out too. The ending began 20 minutes before it ended and it was just a constantly depressing 20 minutes. In the end it could have been better but it was still real good, mainly because of the presentation, the direction and the acting.

The Astronaut Farmer

The whole story and the moral of the story are complete crap. I thought this would be a good movie but half way through I thought about peeling a toenail off from boredom. I was already half way through so I have to see the end. All in all it's too unbelievable and people like the character Virginia Madsen played don't exist. I hope my wife lets me build a wrestling ring in the backyard and piledrive the neighbors because that's my dream! I'd rather be raped in the ass than watch it straight through again. Just a bad movie.

Baby Mama
Baby Mama(2008)

Way too predictable for me to really enjoy it. It didn't present anything new and the jokes weren't as funny as I thought they were. The previews made it seem better than it actually was. Kudos to marketing on this movie. Fooled us all! They did their jobs well.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

Not as good as Will Ferrell's movies have been in the past. It seems like all his movies go the same now: over the top character at the top of his work field, obsessed with work, fails and goes into obscurity, and then makes a comeback. This one just wasn't that good. There were some funny parts but I wouldn't want to watch this again.

Citizen Kane
Citizen Kane(1941)

Tremendous movie. Well acted, edgy for it's time, a terrific story. One of the great movies of all time. Orson Welles was one of the greatest actors ever and this movie proves it. It's amazing how much trouble they had getting this movie to the theaters. I'm glad they did. This was great - and depressing too!!

Osmosis Jones

Probably one of my favorite cartoons of all time. This is just a terrific movie - informative, too. It's also filled with a lot of gross humor and things of that nature and some tongue in cheek jokes. Still it's a great movie.

Lake Placid
Lake Placid(1999)

Real lame movie. They tried to make it a comedic horror movie but failed. It's just dumb. It's just a crocodile and not even a mutant one! They said it comes from Asia! I'd like a mutant one better. Whatever. At least it has Betty White cursing her ass off in this. That was hilarious.

Not a bad movie. It's an interesting look at a man taken back to primitive behavior. It's a lot of psychology, just like Silence of the Lambs. Anthony Hopkins plays the role of a demented man living with gorillas well and this was back when Cuba Gooding Jr.'s career wasn't in the toilet so he was good too. His voice gets on my nerves though. Whatever. Still a good movie.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

What an aptly named movie as I too am trying to Forget Sarah Marshall. It wasn't as good as everyone is saying. Seriously. It wasn't funny except for scenes with Jonah Hill or the guy playing the english rocker. The male nudity probably just didn't need to happen. I was in a packed theater and there were hardly any laughs and certainly not any big ones. Just a lot of hype and no sizzle this one. See at your own risk.

Prom Night
Prom Night(2008)

Terrible. Completely predictable and completely not creative. Probably the worst movie I've seen in theaters this year. Talk about disappointment. I literally called everything that happened in it. It's also completely not bloody and totally unrealistic and enough plot holes to drive a truck through. If you slit someone's throat there would be blood, right? Not in this movie. It looked like they got cut while shaving their faces. All in all just a lot of cheap scares that were all given away in the commercials for the movie. Terrible. See at your own risk.

Déjà Vu
Déjà Vu(2006)

Really interesting concept for a movie. Time travel done right and with some believablility. It was just really interesting - that's really all I can say about this. There were some moments where I was just scoffing but when I got involved in the story and suspended my disbelief I was able to really thoroughly enjoy it. Jesus took a wrong turn in this movie.

Lucky You
Lucky You(2007)

Big poker fans will love this movie. People who aren't probably won't really like it. I am a big poker fan so I enjoyed it. It got a little annoying at times just because the gambling was too much and there wasn't a really great story with Drew Barrymore and Eric Bana but I thought it was good. Unfortunately the winner of the tournament is painfully obvious but it was good enough and I got through the two hours with no problem.

Gone Baby Gone

The guy who wrote this also wrote Mystic River and my hat is certainly off to him. To write two compelling stories like this and have it become is a movie is a tremendous feat, let alone two FANTASTIC movies!! This movie was awesome. It made me respect Casey Affleck and Ben Affleck. Ben did a tremendous job as a director and Casey was a tremendous lead. The story is full of twists and turns and I know people will love it. I sure did.

Notes on a Scandal

This was a totally crazy movie. You think it's a movie about a teacher having sex with a student and being caught but it's so much more than that. Took me completely by surprise. Judi Dench is brilliant as always as is Cate Blanchett. Her work just keeps getting better! You should definitely see this movie.

Real good movie. Much better than what I was expecting. I was really into the story when I first saw it on the History Channel show "Breaking Vegas" so I was glad when they were coming out with this movie. It was real good. The story was awesome and some of the things done were amazing because it actually did happen. Those kids were brilliant. It lagged a bit at times but then it got me right back into it. I was happy with the result.

Blades of Glory

Sadly this wasn't as funny as I was expecting. Will Ferrell was still funny but it was funny at times, not funny all the time. From the way the movie was going I'd say they were aiming for funny all the time, but they missed. Oh well. He's had enough funny movies. He can afford a semi-funny one. He's still not excused for Bewitched though!

Elizabeth I
Elizabeth I(2006)

Not a bad mini-series! Helen Mirren puts on a fantastic performance as the Queen of England. This is the first of the two Elizabeths she's played! Kind of rare for a performer. The sets were fantastic, as was the dialogue and the acting, however I thought it dragged a bit at times and some of the stuff was a little overkill. Nonetheless it's an interesting look at the private life of a rather misunderstood Queen and an interesting look at life way way WAY back in the day!

The Good Shepherd

One word: disappointing. What a bad movie this was. You keep thinking the movie is building to like a big showdown or something or at least some sort of confrontation but nothing. The ending was terrible, the buildup was less than interesting. If you want a better portrayal of the CIA and it's birth go rent "The Company" with Michael Keaton and Alfred Molina. Much better. John Turturro said it best in this film when he was looking for a "dull son of a bitch with no sense of humor". That's this whole movie. Too bad, considering who was in it.

Really awesome movie. Totally not what I was expecting. Normally movies based off video games aren't that great. This is the exception. The action is completely bad ass, the blood is awesome and Olga Kurylenko is HOT! Good plot and good twists and turns made this an excellent, must see movie. If you liked the video game, you'll like this.

Michael Clayton

Not a bad movie at all! Interesting look at a fixer in a law firm battling Coporate America after the death of a friend. George Clooney is real good in this film. His performance is terrific. However, Tom Wilkinson really shines in this one. I don't think he should have won Best Supporting Actor - Javier Bardem was the better choice - but I do feel he should be recognised for his terrific work in this movie. Tilda Swinton, however, really confuses me. I don't think she should have won the Best Supporting Actress Award. She didn't do much in this! The story is really good though. I thought the beginning was a little strange but it all made sense in the end and the movie came off looking smart. I recommend this movie.

Not a bad movie. I caught this on HBO the other night and I thought it was pretty good. I liked the twist at the end.

Not a terrible horror movie. The Japanese (or in this case the Thai) usually have very similar plot lines for their movies. You know, every movie of their's has some damaged Japanese girl who died in a fit of rage or extreme emotions and takes her revenge on people in spirit form. I don't know how but with that same formula for most of their movies (The Grudge, The Ring, The Eye) it works every time! This was real scary. It had some good twists too. It got a little predictable until the ending. The ending was interesting. That wasn't where I thought they'd be going with it but it was definitely interesting. Not a bad movie at all.

The Hitcher
The Hitcher(2007)

Umm wow. This was terrible. They had no business remaking a movie that was perfectly fine when they made it in 1986. I feel bad for Sean Bean. This was just a terribly misguided remake. Just terrible. More shock value garbage than anything.

The Hitcher
The Hitcher(1986)

Awesome thriller. This was an excellent movie. I picked it up on a whim at FYE and I was really happy I did. This will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's one hell of a creative story. Don't see the remake - see this, the original!

Sorry, Wrong Number

Laughable plot at best. Not one of Hitch's greatest works in my opinion. It's way too outdated as well.

The Brave One

It's a great movie with great characters. Jodie Foster gives us another great performance as a woman with a serious grudge on her hands. However, I'd like to ask, how many times does one get randomly put into near death situations? She gets a gun all of a sudden she goes into a convienience store and sees a lady get killed and then kills the killer! Then she's on a train and some punks try to knife her! I mean come on! Anyway, it was still good just a little laughable.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Amazing movie. A classic western with an old school feel to it. This movie would have done well now or fifty years ago. The performances are superb, the scenery is amazing, the script was fantastic and the direction of the movie was brilliant. It was a bit on the long side but it doesn't matter. If you're a fan of the western genre you'll love this. It's fantastic.

The Kingdom
The Kingdom(2007)

Fantastic movie. I'll admit that there are parts in this movie that really made me squirm and really got me pissed off because those terrorists are animals. It really makes me sick to know that's actually what goes on over there. What a fuckin' enemy we have! We have one that not only wants to die... BUT IS HAPPY TO DIE!! That's some fuckin' enemy. What are we still doing over there?! Anyway great movie. I doubt they could have survived the shoot out but still. Highly recommend it.

Definitely one of the best thrillers I've ever seen! Kurt Russell is a total bad ass in this - well as bad as one can be wearing a purple shirt for half of the movie. It's just a really smart thriller that definitely has some "edge of your seat" moments to it. Great story, great acting, great movie. It's also J.T. Walsh's last! So now you have to see it!

Falling Down
Falling Down(1993)

Awesome movie!! Michael Douglas is kick ass as D-FENS!! I like how he starts off as a funny character that just got tired of taking shit and then he becomes a vigilante who is taking people out who are bad. In the end even though we're lead to believe that he's going to do something really bad to his family the truth is he was really just going home to play with his daughter. Awesome movie. Oh, and the part with Robert Duvall on top of that hill screaming to the chinese store owner "DEFENSE DEFENSE!!!" is hilarious!

Eyes Wide Shut

More of a porno than a scary movie. It was really bad. I also really hate Mr. Scientology in this one.

Vantage Point

Real good movie. I didn't really see what the critics were talking about when it pertains to this. It was really cool. A real neat concept. It's an updated Snake Eyes. I liked that original concept in that movie. Good script, good acting. Really enjoyed this and I highly recommend this.

Galaxy Quest
Galaxy Quest(1999)

Pretty dumb pretty funny movie. This is a movie where it's so bad it's actually good. It helps that I'm a big Tim Allen and Alan Rickman fan. I enjoyed it.

Regarding Henry

Not a terrible movie. It's your normal chick flick. Harrison Ford does a good job with his role as a braindead former hotshot lawyer. It's got a good story to it but it just seemed like being shot nearly point blank in the head by a huge gun should have killed him. Instead after being shot in the head he's still talking. What'd the guy use? A pea shooter? Eh it's just OK.

The Eye
The Eye(2008)

I was really hesitant about seeing this movie and I saw it on a last minute whim and I'm glad I did. A truly great horror movie. I was squirming in my seat and legitimately scared for a lot of the movie. I thought it was really cool. Jessica Alba wasn't as terrible as everyone made her out to be. There were a few things that didn't make sense in this but not much. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I saw it. Now I want to see the original.

Mystic River
Mystic River(2003)

Pretty creepy movie and very sad. Can't help but walk away from the movie feeling real sad.

Double Jeopardy

Awesome movie! It's got a great story, great characters and twists and turns and suspense at almost every turn. Fantastic movie!

Lewis Black: Black on Broadway

This stand up is hilarious. Lewis Black is the man. I'll never look at "Moo-cow-fuck-milk" the same way ever again! "Lactose free? KISS MY DICK!!"

Lewis Black: Red, White & Screwed

If there's anybody funnier than Lewis Black, I might just eat my hat. This is a great show and he starts it off right by describing why his act couldn't be at the Kennedy Center. I've probably seen this a dozen times and the part when he impersonates the spy network makes me roll everytime. He's hilarious! I can't wait to see him!

Unaccompanied Minors

The only reason I watched this was for Lewis Black, who was funny as always. Other than that this movie was a bust. I couldn't get through it in one sitting.

Lady in the Water

An OK movie. Like all of Shyamalan's movies it's very character based and that's not a bad thing at all... if the characters have a good storyline to go with, which in this case, they didn't. It's a cheap fairy tale that didn't really captivate me. The only interesting thing was when Giamatti's character was trying to find all the people for Story. Other than that it just wasn't that great. I hear he has another movie coming out soon. He really hasn't had a good one since Unbreakable. Maybe this one will be better.

Good Luck Chuck

Kind of your basic romantic comedy. Boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl due to stupidity, girl goes with another boy, boy convinces girl that he's the one and they get married. Dull. This was a romantic comedy with a mix of porno thrown in. The only really good parts were the parts when it was just Dan Fogler and Dane Cook going to town. Those two together was hilarious. Dan Fogler had me crying. See it if you want.

The Game Plan

Great family movie. I absolutely loved this movie. That little girl was absolutely adorable! What a little sweetheart! She was hilarious and so was The Rock. The movie had a great story and was a total tear-jerker towards the end. Fantastic movie and it's a classic Disney movie.

No Country for Old Men

Amazing movie!! Absolutely amazing!! A smart and character driven movie with a great story, tense moments that keep you on the edge of your seat literally and an ending that you have to think about and when you figure it out you realize how amazing the movie is. You have to pay attention to the movie from beginning to end. It's just an out of this world movie. I loved it and it's deserving of all the awards it's been nominated for and the ones it's already won. See it now and believe the hype of it!

V for Vendetta

Absolutely amazing movie! A great look at why totalitarianism blows. I love the whole theme of revolution. It's just such a good film I can hardly put it into words. You need to see this.

Pretty funny movie. Michael Keaton is a talented actor and he is a very gifted character actor as well. How he played four guys, all completely different, in one movie is awesome. The special effects are awesome for the time as well. The story is a little ridiculous but it's ok. It's something I never thought of but during the course of the movie thought was a cool idea until I saw what happened. Thanks to this movie, I know not to clone myself to manage things in my life so I can have time to myself. The clones will start doing your wife.

Brokeback Mountain

The direction of this movie was amazing. Ang Lee is a great director. The story itself was good. There were a lot of moments where I felt really awkward watching this and even had to turn my head but all in all it isn't a bad love story. I don't like how it ends. I was enjoying watching Heath Ledger's character continue on a downward spiral and going no where but oh well.

A Good Year
A Good Year(2006)

Good movie. Your typical empty man finds happiness film. This one was particularly well done. It had good acting, a good story, it's share of funny moments, and beautiful scenery. Not a bad movie. I'd recommend it.

Really good movie! I was really surprised. It was intriguing, it was thrilling, it was smart and it was disturbing! Diane Lane does it again! I'm just taking off half a point because I wish they kept you guessing as to who the killer is but I understand why they didn't. Still, it was really, really good!

Rookie of the Year

Not a bad movie. I liked it. It had a nice message to it and a nice story to it. Dreams do come true - even the improbable ones. I'm talking about the Cubs winning a World Series. One day!

American Psycho II: All American Girl

Up there as one of the absolute worst sequels ever. There was nothing thrilling or scary about this movie. The storyline was 100% garbage filled with enough holes to fit an entire ocean in it. This was just a waste of my time and left me going cross eyed, especially at the end.

American Psycho

Pretty good movie for a slasher flick. I like how it keeps you guessing and the ending is pretty interesting. From my understanding it's not as good as the novel. Oh well. I'll have to check it out. Christian Bale, however, plays a very good psycho.

Snake Eyes
Snake Eyes(1998)

Pretty good movie. I like it because my Aunt did the lighting on it. It's definitely an interesting political thriller but the ending was a little rough. It was building great and then the ending felt kind of half assed. Could have been better. Still the point of view shots were cool.

Family Guy - Blue Harvest

Pretty funny spoof on Star Wars. The Family Guy staff did a great job with the artwork and the spoof itself was pretty funny. I like how they poked fun at a lot of the silly things in the movie. A couple of parts had me rolling on the floor. I liked it.

Definitely a good movie for special effects. I really liked the special effects in this movie and some aspects that were really legitimately scary and tense. I was a little disappointed in the monster and some things just didn't make sense. Between the "queezy cam" and the ending I felt just as robbed as I did with the Blair Witch Project. The ending could have at least explained what happened. Oh well.

Something the Lord Made

Wonderful movie! Alan Rickman is terrific as always. He's a great actor. The best surprise of this movie is Mos Def. This is probably his best work. Mos Def is a very talented actor. This is a great story based on true events and it's a must see. Rent it or catch it on HBO.

Analyze This
Analyze This(1999)

Could have sworn I already rated this. Oh well. This movie is killer. Robert De Niro is one funny son of a bitch as is Billy Crystal. Great comedy. See this!

The only performance that Al Pacino has done that is better than this is Dog Day Afternoon. Frank Serpico was a true bad ass and Al Pacino plays him to a tee. This is an awesome movie. A definite must see.

Analyze That
Analyze That(2002)

What a great sequel. This movie is just as hilarious as the first one. Robert De Niro is one funny son of a bitch and so is Billy Crystal. Just the perfect pair for this movie.

To Kill A Mockingbird

Amazing movie from an amazing book. Gregory Peck is one of the best actors of all time. Watching him alone is worth the price of the movie. A definite must see for all classic movie lovers.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Hilarious movie! John Candy was a comic legend. He is still missed to this day. He was one of the greats. His face when he steals the cab is priceless. Steve Martin is hilarious too.

Fever Pitch
Fever Pitch(2005)

Eh I wasn't a real fan of this movie. It just wasn't that funny. Just a lot of stupid humor. But then again Jimmy Fallon is in it. What was I expecting?

The X-Files - Fight the Future

Not a bad movie. I've never really seen the series before but I was able to understand most of everything. They did get a little too lucky for my tastes and some things were just too out of this world, like how he wound up in the middle of Antarctica in two days and then got home with a machine that was out of gas. Also, why would the Well Manicured Man get in the back of the car if he already killed the driver? Some questions need answering.

Vegas Vacation

Who said Chevy Chase was funny??

Rush Hour 3
Rush Hour 3(2007)

I was disappointed! They pretty much recycled and updated the first movie again. The jokes weren't as good and neither was the action. Very disappointing end to the series. Should have left it at Rush Hour 2. That was the best one.

The Bucket List

One of the top movies I'll see all year and one of the best I've ever seen. So inspirational and so moving. Very rarely can a film encompass so much as this - comedy, drama, happiness, sadness, beauty. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, two of my favorite actors of all time, have great chemistry and are at their best. Everyone should see this. I went out of my way to see this movie and I would do it again to see this. See it when it comes out. It's amazing.

Great movie with some really tense moments for a movie with a bunch of nerds! There's something lacking to give it total five stars but it's still good!

Amazingly smart thriller. Very psychological, it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Looks back at some of the most gruesome serial killers of all time! Definitely a must see!

Classic 1980s favorite of mine. I have the DVD version with the alternate endings. This is an awesome and funny movie. Funny in a dry sense of humor fashion. I love it though!

Dark Ride
Dark Ride(2006)

What a rip. This movie sucked like the others did! And you don't even get to see Jamie Lynn-Sigler nude! This movie was a waste of time.

Escape From Alcatraz

Amazing movie! Shot on location in Alcatraz, it's the story of the only people who allegedly escaped the infamous Alcatraz (if they died escaping their bodies were never found!). It's a great movie with great characters and some really intense moments. See it! It's one of my favorites.

For Your Eyes Only

I liked the song to this movie and some of the action but that's about it. Roger Moore is starting to look haggard in this one.

You have to actually go to Gettysburg and experience it to really like this movie. I love the attention to historical detail and the story is one of the best (and worst) in American history. See this all history buffs.

Last Holiday
Last Holiday(2006)

Not terrible. Has a nice story to it and there were some parts that I thought were funny. All in all not bad!

Live and Let Die

Good way to bring Roger Moore into the James Bond series after Sean Connery finally left. The song to this movie is totally iconic. Good movie.

Mr. Nanny
Mr. Nanny(1993)

Hulk Hogan is the shittiest actor of all time but this movie is so bad it's funny. You got to see this at least once in your life. It's a good bad movie!

Penny Dreadful

They should rename this movie "REALLY Dreadful."

Wicked Little Things

The only thing wicked about this movie is the fact that I paid real money to buy it. Garbage. This "Eight Movies to Die For" horror fest was a waste.

Death of a President

It's scary how real they made it seem. It's scary to think that could actually happen. I don't support President Bush whatsoever but I wouldn't want him to die. Crazy real movie.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service

George Lazenby was a surprise! He was a good Bond. Not the best... but he was good! This has a good story to it, one that is pretty much lost in the francise! Yes, Bond got married!

The Bond francise tried to capitalize on the Star Wars craze with this. Too bad it wasn't that good. It was too unrealistic.

The Spy Who Loved Me

What a recovery from The Man With The Golden Gun! This is one of my favorite Bond movies and it contains my most favorite Bond song. Carly Simon rules. So does this movie!

The Man with the Golden Gun

Worst James Bond movie ever. Hands down. Real fans will agree with me. This was horrid.

Licence To Kill

Wow, Timothy Dalton was the worst James Bond ever and he stars in the series for it's second worst film. I own the absolute worst which is The Man With The Golden Gun. Garbage.

The Year Without a Santa Claus

Christmas favorite for me. The songs are awesome in this and the story is very nice. Good for Christmas! Features "Blue Christmas" and "I'm Mr. White Christmas".

Black Sheep
Black Sheep(1996)

This should have been called Tommy Boy 2. Really no difference. It's funny but not like Tommy Boy was.

Tommy Boy
Tommy Boy(1995)

Hilarious movie. Chris Farley and David Spade were a great comedic duo. This movie has a really nice story to it and it's funny from beginning to end. Chris Farley left us too soon!

The Wicker Man

So much better than the remake! Nothing beats the original. The story is awesome and so is the acting. There's a billion nude scenes too! Full vag! I was not expecting that!

Batman: The Movie

Old school Batman! Adam West is the man in this movie, just as he is in Family Guy. The man is such a weirdo. This movie is awesome and a childhood favorite, hence the high rating.

Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero

Pretty cool for a cartoon Batman movie. The story is fun, the animation is cool, and the villian is awesome. What more can you ask for?

The Shawshank Redemption

Amazing movie! What a story! Stephen King doesn't just do horror! He proves it with this and with The Green Mile! The characters are absolutely amazing and so is the acting. This is just an amazing and inspiring movie! See this!

The Lake House

Eh... interesting idea but it was just another lackluster Sandra Bullock film. They were better in Speed. She needs to stop putting out this crap. You knew where it was going the whole time really.

Fantastic movie! What a way to start off 2008! This is the most perfect movie I've seen since Mr. Brooks. This isn't better than Mr. Brooks but it's damn close. The story and the acting were superb. Ellen Page blew me away! What an actress! J.K. Simmons surprised me too. He was excellent. The whole movie was just so good it's hard to put into words. It's so offbeat but you knew all these kids in high school. It's just one of those movies where you really feel like you can relate to the characters. Thumbs up! Perfect movie to have seen on New Year's Day! See this!

Beyond the Mat

Awesome look at the toll wrestling takes on it's stars. Being on the road can really mess you up. Just ask Jake Roberts or Terry Funk and it can take a toll on your family. Just ask those two guys again and Mick Foley. Great documentary and it also offers a really good look at wrestling in the 1990s.

License to Wed

I was lied to! It said on the box "Robin Williams is at his very best!" LIAR! This movie was not good. It didn't make any sense storyline wise, the jokes were lame, and the story in general was terrible. Only saving grace for this was the fat kid. Thank god it came free with the Blu-Ray.

Are We There Yet?

Nice little family movie with some real far out stupid humor and action but what can you expect from a family movie? I watched it with my eight year old sister so it was all good. Cute movie.

The Hunt for Red October

One of my favorite movies of all time! Great political action movie with superb action! It was even a good book too! Tom Clancy is the man! I think they should make Rainbow Six into a movie!

Not a bad geopolitical thriller. It definitely shows the true price of oil and they do it in a good way however they threw together way too many storylines that at some points the film was extremely hard to follow. There were times I was flat out confused. To get the movie you probably have to watch it twice. Still not bad.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets

Not a bad movie at all! It wasn't really up to snuff as the first one was but it still got the job done. It took us to so many historical locations around the world and designed and recreated so much more. However, when it came to the puzzles and action I was a little perturbed. The puzzles were too easy and he figured them out way to quick. The greatest minds of the centuries couldn't figure out the things that he pulled off in a matter of seconds. The action was a little too unbelievable, even for someone who suspends his disbelief. Oh, and the jokes were too forced! They were trying too hard to be funny. However, if you put all that aside it was still entertaining. Even with all that stuff you were still entertained. All in all very good movie but they just jammed too much into two hours. Hope they come out with a third one!!

This movie is so insane and so intense I was biting my fingers the whole time! What a movie. Poor guy! Kathy Bates is insane here!!

Awesome move!! Selena was so beautiful and talented and left the world too soon. Jennifer Lopez plays her the best I've ever seen Lopez play. This is just a great and sad movie.

Mona Lisa Smile

Julia Roberts is great in this movie. This is an awesome and inspirational movie about women before they were respected and appreciated like they are now!

Gone With the Wind

Ridiculously long. It was a little boring at that beginning but once the heat got turned up I was hooked and I couldn't believe it was made in 1939. Great movie!

The Skeleton Key

This is probably one of the first voodoo movies I've seen where it's actually really intense and scary!! Great acting and action in this awesome thriller. What an ending too! Damn!

The Nutty Professor

Pretty funny movie. Features Eddie Murphy in just about every role except James Colburn's and Jada Pinkett's! He's big on that make-up. Still a great movie. I want to see the first one as well.

An absolutely beautiful and inspiring movie. Tobey Maguire acts better than I've ever seen him in any other movie. Just wonderful. Jeff Bridges played great as well but Chris Cooper totally blew me away as he usually does. He's a brilliant actor as well. This movie is so good. The visuals, the music, the acting. It's just a great movie. You should see this!

The Night Listener

I was completely lost while viewing this movie. I got a few things but a lot of it just didn't make sense. They tried real hard to make sure everything was explained but it really didn't do anything for me. It was too short too. Also, I rented this from Blockbuster and I didn't return it in time so I had to buy it! Now I'm stuck with this crap movie. I should sell it on eBay but who'd be dumb enough to buy this?

The Descent
The Descent(2006)

It wasn't a terrible movie. It was a little slow at times and got a little boring. However I can relate to the claustrophobia thing and stuff like that. The whole premise for the movie was a little weak I must say as certain things that happened didn't need to happen and the changes with the characters just didn't make sense. The monsters were scary as hell though!

What a terrible movie. It was only 96 minutes but it felt like ten years. Just horrible. There was a few lines of dialogue in it and it was all horrible. The story was horrible. It was "Saw" with different characters. Skip this. Please, SKIP THIS!

I Am Legend
I Am Legend(2007)

Not a bad movie! The special effects were astounding and so was the acting. Will Smith did a really good job in what was basically a one man show with a dog. There was some comedy, a lot of suspense. a lot of scares and even some touching moments in this movie. My only grievance is that Roger Ebert is right - the monsters did look like they came out of a second rate video game rejection. The screaming was just as annoying as it was in 30 Days of Night. Other than that a solid movie. Oh yeah, and the ending left a little something to be desired.

Super Troopers

I laughed my ass off watching this movie! It was so funny. Definitely on my top ten of comedy movies. If you're not into ridiculously stupid movies don't see this. Otherwise please feel free.

Orange County

Super funny movie. One of my favorite movies of the summer of 2002. My friends and I used to quote this movie all the time. Just hilarious. "Joe John...ston. Joe Johnston."

I loved this movie!! This came out around the time Hollywood had a hard on for disaster flicks. Deep Impact, Armageddon and Dante's Peak would follow. This was just a cool movie. Very interesting. The scientific facts and occurances are questionable but it was still a good action movie.

Road to Perdition

Interesting movie. It's been a while since I've seen it but I remember it being not bad. There's nothing really memorable about it except Tom Hanks' acting. Not a bad film.

Baby's Day Out

As a kid I loved this movie. I thought it was funny and creative and when I think about it I still do. I laugh whenever I think of Joey Pants singing "Mary Had a Little Lamb." Hilarious.

From Hell
From Hell(2001)

I'm not a huge fan of Hollywood making movies about unsolved cases (for example, I wasn't too keen on Hoffa) and this movie is no exception. This was just a terrible movie. The gore scenes were just lame, the story sucked and so did the acting. Not one of Johnny Depp's best movies ever.

Powerful performances from Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks! This movie is just wonderful and was one of the first to touch on the AIDS epidemic. It needed to be told to open people's eyes to this disease because when the epidemic started up the USA initially did nothing. A great big zero. Now they've opened their eyes to it and not a minute too soon.

The Forgotten

I saw this and I just didn't like it at all. The story was lame and so were the visual effects. I've come to expect this from Julianne Moore movies. They just are never up to snuff. It's the X-Files but with even worse actors and crappier ideas.

I know a lot of people will disagree with what I have to say about this movie but this just wasn't my cup of tea. I turned it off 3/4s of the way through. I didn't even want to see the ending because I just didn't care at all.

American Beauty

Wow! What an amazing movie! You know movies are good when I start off the review by saying "Wow! What a movie!!" This is truly one of the great movies of the 1990s. Kevin Spacey is absolutely brilliant in this as is Annette Bening and Chris Cooper, who plays a character that will give you chills when you see him. This is truly a must see movie and one of the best movies ever made. See this immediately!!

Rear Window
Rear Window(1954)

Really intense movie. This is the original "Disturbia"! Alfred Hitchcock was the man. I can't believe that this was made in 1954. It was so intense and sexual! I loved it and damn - Grace Kelly was hot! Awesome classic movie!

Lord of War
Lord of War(2005)

Wow what an awesome movie. Nicolas Cage does it again! This movie really showcases the disgusting underbelly of wars and the govenments that fight them. Gunrunning is a business I've not heard much about before this movie but apparently it's a really big deal. This movie was so good though. Nicolas Cage is such a great actor. See this!!

Miracle on 34th Street

One of my all time favorite holiday classics. This is a great story with great characters and the right message for Christmas - love and believe. It was cool seeing a young Natalie Wood perform and I still believe that Edmund Gwenn is really Santa Claus!

Jack Nicholson is brilliant as always but even his brilliance doesn't discount that this movie is about thirty minutes too long and the payoff at the end just isn't that great. They made up Jimmy Hoffa's death and that takes away from the credibility of the movie. If they made that up what else in the movie did they make up then?? Jack's still the man though!

Deck the Halls

I can see why the critics panned the movie but maybe they just weren't in the Christmas spirit. I personally liked the movie. Sure it was a little hokey and unbelievable but it had the right message and the right ingredients to make a nice Christmas movie. The ending was a little lame but who cares? There were times when I was laughing my ass off during this movie. Danny DeVito is still Louie DiPalma to me!

Sometimes it baffles me how scripts like this can get approved by a studio. This movie was horrible. I nearly walked out twice before I realized I paid $22 for two tickets to see this garbage. How dare I not get a refund. No... how dare Hollywood make this movie out to be something it's not. It's not sophisticated, the twists and turns were retarded and made absolutely ZERO sense. Oh fuck it. I'll just spoil it for you. Jessica Alba is behind the plot to kill him and make it look like an accident and the mother kills herself and gives him her heart to save him. The end. It sucked so much dick. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SEE THIS!

Pope John Paul II

Got a little slow and boring at times but all in all a good recreation of the interesting life of the Pope. Jon Voight did an awesome job! Oh and I'm the 22nd person to rate this movie. Awesome.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

Pretty good prequel. I wasn't really scared by it because I saw most of the scares a mile away and the ending was dumb but the gore was awesome! What effects they used! It looked so real it was a bit unnerving! That was awesome. I also liked the story of how the family came to be and even a little background on Leatherface. Good stuff.

Good Will Hunting

Wow what an awesome movie this was! Smart and inspiring! I can't believe that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck wrote this. I could have done without Ben in the movie but he wasn't enough to deter a five star rating. Robin Williams is in the best role I've ever seen him in. He's just amazing. This was just a great movie. I highly recommend it!

Reign Over Me

Solid acting from Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle in a movie that showcases the lives of the families that lost people in 9/11. The story, in my opinion, could have been a little stronger. It lagged a bit at times but the actual backstory as told by Sandler in the movie was strong as all hell. I can see why some people didn't like it but I didn't mind it one bit.

You, Me and Dupree

Not a bad movie at all. There were some parts that had me scratching my head but for the most part it was pretty good and funny when it needed to be.

Little Miss Sunshine

Great movie!! Abigail Breslin was terrific in this as was Steve Carell and everyone else in the film! Just a real sweet movie about a dysfunctional family just trying to make their little girl happy. So dysfunctional but so great!

Awesome movie! I can't believe I waited so long to watch it! It was just a great classic movie. Joe Pesci is the man!

Ghost Ship
Ghost Ship(2002)

It seems good but it wasn't. The premise is just a little too complicated and it wasn't that scary. It even got boring at times.

Good movie. It's a chick flick but it's a good one. The story is really nice of a guy who's on the verge of losing everything and then his father dies and along the way he meets a girl who shows him how to really live and enjoy life. Good stuff.

Apollo 13
Apollo 13(1995)

Not a bad movie at all... but then again what Tom Hanks film is bad? The movie is solid and tense. I can't even fathom what the real guys went through. I would've flipped out. Still not a bad movie. The special features were cool. The actors went through a lot of shit during this movie. Awesome stuff.

I personally really enjoyed this movie. A lot of people don't care much for this but I think it was a good, intense, psychological thriller. Always a treat to see Sam Jackson and Dustin Hoffman in the same movie.

The Story of Us

Good movie but not great. It was mostly just a lot of screaming and crying. It hit home a little bit coming from a divorced family but after a while it just got annoying and a tad unrealistic. Oh well.

Murder by Numbers

Not a bad psychological thriller. The story was cool and the planning and the chasing were good too. The only bad thing was Sandra Bullock's character. I don't think a character like hers would let a teenager walk all over her and she cries after it. That was just lame. Other than that pretty solid.

The Marine
The Marine(2006)

About what I expected. Lame acting, crap action but huge explosions. Just your average B action movie. WWE Films just isn't really doing it for me.

George of the Jungle

Funny movie... but I fucking hate Brendan Fraser.

Road Trip
Road Trip(2000)

The best part about this movie is the french toast part. I cried when I saw that from laughing!

A complete dive off what I thought it would be. I think this is Adam Sandler's first attempt at drama EVER! You know what? It wasn't that bad! I liked the story. I thought it was nice and sweet and HOLY SHIT!!!! Paz Vega is hot as hell!

The Bone Collector

Didn't see the ending coming for this movie because I didn't even fucking remember the person. I saw half this movie in 2004 and never saw the ending. I was convinced it was the police chief and people told me it was. Well, it wasn't. Sorry for the spoiler. God damn. I was a tad disappointed.

White Noise
White Noise(2005)

I remember I saw this movie with a friend in the theater and I think we left our colons there. This movie scared the shit out of us!! I'll never forget it. I dropped him off and drove home with all the lights on. I think it's because we were at this scary ass house before we went and I thought I saw a ghost. Still good movie. Best Michael Keaton movie since Batman Returns.

Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo

Didn't quite capture the same magic the first one did. That doesn't mean it was bad... just not as good!

House of Wax
House of Wax(2005)

Best part about this movie - well the only good part! - was fucking Paris Hilton getting a poll through the head.

Definitely an interesting story. A new way of looking at and displaying schizophrenia. Got a little confusing at times and a few silly points but the ending was interesting. Not bad at all.

Definitely one of the best war epics I've seen ever. Mel Gibson prooved himself to be an amazing actor in this movie and an amazing director. So many iconic cinematic moments happened in this film. The story is great though historically inaccurate but who cares. This is just a good old fashioned action movie that movies like The Pariot and 300 took from after.

Dan in Real Life

I was a little wary about this movie because it was being shown on the second floor of the theater which is where all or most of the shitty movies are played but my wariness was unfounded as this was a pretty good movie. It was like "About Schmidt" only Schmidt is younger. Dragged a little at times but it was still fun and very sweet. Steve Carell is prooving to be one of the better actors with each movie.

Because I Said So

Such an obvious movie. It's obvious from the beginning of the movie which guy she's going to like more, when the heartbreak is going to occur, what she's going to do to fix it and the end result. I didn't need to watch past fifteen minutes of this surprisingly dull movie. Even Diane Keaton seemed off.

Broken Arrow
Broken Arrow(1996)

Face/Off was much better. This movie opened up with a real fake looking sparring contest and just went right into the ridiculous. It just seemed way too fake for me like I couldn't even enjoy it because the story and the characters were just too unrealistic.

The Cable Guy

Definitely a dark comedy and not on I think worked for Jim Carrey. Not his greatest effort and not the greatest movie ever. Very few funny parts. Just really dark. It seemed like Tim Burton could have excelled with this movie.

The Karate Kid

What ever happened to Ralph Macchio? Mr. Miagi is the man. Good movie.

Natural Born Killers

Absolute garbage. I couldn't even get through the whole thing. This movie is pure garbage.

The Game
The Game(1997)

Definitely one of the stranger more thrilling movies I've seen as of late. I was confused by it in the beginning but I started to like it because it was like it was playing tricks with me! I didn't know what to believe or what not to. It was a cool story with good acting by Michael Douglas and great directing by David Fincher, of Se7en fame. Great movie.

The Great Train Robbery

This is one of my favorite movies and books of all time! Sean Connery is the man. It is the perfect movie. It's got comedy, drama, a good story and great actors. Just a real fun caper/movie. I also highly recommend the book. I've read it at least three times. Michael Crichton is the man.

Independence Day

Awesome movie. I really enjoyed watching this movie, except for the moments when Randy Quaid is in it. Great movie none the less and it's a must watch on the fourth of July.

Blue Streak
Blue Streak(1999)

This was a pretty damn funny movie. Dave Chappelle is my favorite in this movie, especially when he does his trash talking. Martin Lawrence is, of course, hilarious as well. Great movie.

I Know What You Did Last Summer

Yeah... and I know never to watch this travesty again.

Beautiful movie. Great biopic of the legendary Ray Charles. Jamie Foxx plays him to a tee. Ray was one of the true geniuses of music and his music will live on forever. Great movie, great musician.

One Hour Photo

At the end of this movie all I said was "What?". Good performance by Robin Williams but other than that it's a dumb story.

About Schmidt

Beautiful and depressing movie all at the same time. This is one of my all time favorite Nicholson performances. He plays this man Warren Schmidt so wonderfully. I felt bad for him the whole time. This is a great movie. Just close your eyes when Kathy Bates is nude.

The Pledge
The Pledge(2001)

One of the rare Nicholson performances that I don't care for at all. This was just not a good movie. Slow and boring and an ending that leaves you feeling robbed. Sweet.

Prizzi's Honor

Not a bad comedy. Jack Nicholson steals the show as usual but the story, in my opinion, was just ok. Kind of like an older Mr. and Mrs. Smith except they're mafioso.

The Condemned

I'm not going to lie. I went just because I'm a huge wrestling fan. Boy did I feel like a loser in the theater. Besides my two other friends we were the ONLY ones in the theater. I thought it was an interesting concept for a movie before I thought about it and realized it was absolutely retarded. If I wasn't a fan of Austin 3:16 there's no way in hell I'd have ever seen a movie like this with such a hokey concept. That, coupled with fight scenes that were shot so retardedly I thought I was going to have a seizure, made this movie a little hard not to laugh at. Nice try, Austin. Too bad he's signed on for two more movies with WWE Films. Stick to wrestling.

American Gangster

Greatest crime drama of the year. Bar none. I really enjoyed this movie. Strong performances from Denzel and Russell and what a story they told! This is an amazing story. It's hard to believe it actually happened. My only grievance is that it took too long to really start getting into the story. Other than that I loved it.

The Rainmaker

Great movie. Really showcased a young up and coming Matt Damon and showcased an old lion like Danny DeVito. I love courtroom drama movies and this is no exception. Great movie and great story.

Perfect Stranger

I'm not going to lie. I didn't see the ending coming and I thought that was cool. I was happy to see that after suffering through most of the boring movie which is only made good by Halle Berry's hot ass that at least the ending was good. But - oh no! - it wasn't that great because when they explain it and why the whole thing happened it just makes you think that some points in the movie just didn't need to be done and wouldn't have happened if what actually happened happened. Oh well. A for effort!

I wasn't expecting this to be good at all but I was surprised when it was really good. I was happy to see Jennifer Aniston excel in her first real starring role since "Friends". Good movie with a cool story.

Remember the Titans

Inspiring movie. Just some great performances here and one of my all time favorite sports movies. Just a good movie here.

The Untouchables

What a movie!! Kevin Costner is great but the show stealers here are Sean Connery and Robert DeNiro. Sean has the worst Chicago accent ever but he pulls it off still! He deserved the Academy Award! DeNiro is great as "Scarface" Al Capone too. Just a great story. It's amazing what they went through to get Capone in prison for good. Great stuff. See this!

The Faculty
The Faculty(1998)

Cool movie. I really enjoyed it. Don't tell me you didn't think the principal was hot! You know she was!! Just a cool movie. Reminded me of an extreme version of "My Math Teacher Is From Space" books.

The Perfect Storm

Great movie. Very powerful with some great performances and visual effects. Great direction from Wolfgang Peterson as well. This is just a great movie. Everyone should see this.

Scary Movie 4

Hilarious! I saw this on my birthday and I'm glad I did. Good stuff.

Big Momma's House

Funny movie. Big momma is a black version of my 11th grade history teacher Mrs. Ford. Had a lot of fun watching this. Made me want to eat prunes.

Final Destination 3

Hilarious. I'm not quite sure that's what they were aiming for but that's what I took away from this.

Friday the 13th

Nothing like a dude in a hockey mask beheading a bunch of campers. True horror movie classic.

Event Horizon

Nonsensical, non-narcotic, sissy-pansy movie. Terrible. A few scares but none to save it. Story absolutely blew. But then again this came from the director of the Resident Evil movies. That dick.

The Amityville Horror

Can't beat the original. This movie is damn scary and feels damn real. Amazing stuff.

The World Is Not Enough

Not my favorite of the Brosnan Bond movies. Just OK. Some superhuman criminal and nuclear subs and blah blah blah. Boring.

Stephen King's It

Lame. It aired on TV so it was real watered down. Not really scary at all. Also, I rented this from Blockbuster and I kept it too long so they made me buy it. Now I'm stuck with this half assed horror movie. Damn.

Pet Sematary
Pet Sematary(1989)

Sometimes dead is better!! You listen to me now. Sometimes... dead is better! Good movie.

Tomorrow Never Dies

My second favorite Brosnan Bond movie. Great and original story and a lot of fun to watch. Completely action packed too.

Dr. No
Dr. No(1962)

Good way to start off the now legendary Bond series. It was a pretty good movie and one that made Sean Connery a huge international star. Ursula Andress as the first "Bond girl" was great. She was a super sexy lady. All in all a cool story and a great way to start off the Bond franchise.

Not a bad movie. Gets boring at times but not a bad western. I want to see Wyatt Earp, which came out a year later and see if it's better.

The Devil's Advocate

Not a bad movie. Had a lot of unnecessary nudity in it but that's about it. The story was ok but you kind of knew where everything was going after the first half hour.

Just barely a good movie. The story is a little far fetched and gets to be on the annoying side. Still it makes you think sometimes about corruption in the church in the higher powers. Just an OK movie though.

Evan Almighty

Not as good as Bruce Almighty was at all but still a good movie for a family. Has some funny moments and some touching ones as well. The visual effects are great and so is the make-up. Steve Carrell tried his best in this. Not one of his great comedic works. However I did enjoy when the credits rolled to watch Morgan Freeman lip synching "Everybody Dance Now."

She's the Man

Not a bad movie. Amanda Bynes is pretty hilarious in this and really hot. Has a nice little story to it. A little too silly to make it great but it had it's funny moments and I enjoyed watching it.

Lethal Weapon 2

DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY!! This movie is immune from being bad. Corny!

Patriot Games

Cool movie with Harrison taking on the Jack Ryan role when he fights the IRS. Good stuff. Sean Bean is cool in this.

Child's Play 3

Not bad. The last truly scary Chuckie movie. All the rest are farces. This was still good though. Poor Andy. That kid has got to be fucked up forever.

Child's Play 2

First Child's Play movie I saw. I saw it when I was about seven or eight and stopped watching after he came out of the closet with the ruler to kill the teacher. I had nightmares for weeks. Scary.

Dead Poets Society

Great movie. Another great film from Peter Weir. Also, a surprisingly fantastic performance by Robin Williams. He was great in this, as was Robert Sean Leonard aka Wilson on "House." Great movie... however the ending was real corny.

We Were Soldiers

Amazing movie. Really shows the horrors of the Vietnam War. Mel Gibson gives a great performance and the cast around him is great too. I want to see this again.

I love this movie so much!! It's a really fun story with cutting edge special effects for the day. The best part of the movie comes when the plant takes David Allen Grier's car and he goes "FINE! TAKE IT!!" Hilarious!!

Miss Congeniality

Don't kill me for saying this but I loved this movie. Sandra Bullock is amazingly hot in this. She is just gorgeous. Good story too. Lots of fun and a lot of laughs.

Saw II
Saw II(2005)

I like the Saw movies because it's not just violence for the sake of violence or gore for the sake of gore. Everything makes sense. These movies are an extreme way of saying "Everyone has a choice!" This movie is awesome and there are some parts that definitely get your heart pumping. Sure, really all this movie is about is to set up the third one but you really get to see the characters this time. Too bad there's not Danny Glover!

Saw IV
Saw IV(2007)

Definitely one of the best Saws yet! They keep getting better! The story gets more and more intense as it goes it's crazy. It'll scare the crap out of you the whole time and keep you squirming until the end with gore. Great stuff!! I can't wait until next year's Saw V!!

An Inconvenient Truth

Wow this movie scared the ever loving shit out of me. It's unbelievable what we've been doing to the world! I'm going to try my best to do my part to help save it. www.climatecrisis.net

The Caveman's Valentine

I've been wanting to see this and I was a little disappointed when I did. It wasn't what I was expecting and I was a little annoyed by some of the stuff in it. The ending was a little silly but Sam Jackson does a great job acting none-the-less.

Sleeping with the Enemy

Awesome movie that tackles the tough topic of abuse. Kept me on pins and needles the whole time. Her husband was a real nut. Good movie Julia! I gotta say she looked hot with the gigantic hair.

My favorite James Bond movie of all time! This was the first one I saw and I'm glad it was. Sean Connery is the man in this. The story is great as well. I read the book and that was great too!

Good movie. Annoying when Sandra Bullock kept sorrying everyone up but it was still a cool concept for a movie. Pretty groundbreaking back in the day.

Holy shit there's nothing like the first fifteen minutes of this movie. Nothing like watching Peter Weller get every limb blown off and returning as a robot! Awesome.

Major Payne
Major Payne(1994)

Pretty funny movie. Gets a little annoying at times but when he tries to break that little kid's neck I laugh my ass off every time.

Two for the Money

Not a bad movie. Looking at who was in it I expected a little better. But still, not bad.

Farce of the Penguins

Let me just start out by saying I hate Bob Saget. Ok. I'm sure you're asking yourself "Why would he rent this then?" if I hate him. One person: Lewis Black. Unfortunately even he couldn't save this movie. This movie was so bad I was thinking about 37 minutes into it "HOW MUCH LONGER?!" and I saw I had another hour to go. Just terrible. Bob Saget you're not funny at all.

Rocky V
Rocky V(1990)

Worst Rocky of all time. I can't believe he didn't even get in the ring. This sucked.

Terrible movie. Just terrible.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

One of the greatest Jack Nicholson movies I've ever seen. He is superb in this movie. It's amazing. The story is excellent, the actors are excellent, the dialogue is excellent. This is just an excellent movie.

30 Days of Night

Wow this movie was terrible. Just a lot of screaming and stupid actions. Some points I found to be so ridiculous I had to laugh. The ending was dumb too. But what should I have expected from a vampire movie. Seriously, that is just an overdone subject.

Something's Gotta Give

Amazing movie. Nancy Meyers did a great job with this movie, as did Jack and Diane. This is just such a good and fun movie. I love it.

This was an awesome movie. Michael Douglas is such a lucky bitch and he knows it to have Catherine Zeta-Jones at his beck and call. Sean Connery is the man, no matter what! Fun movie.

Hands down, the highlight of this movie is watching the Fonz get gutted by the killer. Good movie.

Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit

This was actually a good sequel. Good music and good fun. Not bad at all.

Police Academy

Funny ass movie. I'd venture to say two and three were good but they just overdid it with the Police Academy.

Hotel Rwanda
Hotel Rwanda(2004)

Amazing movie. Don Cheadle is such an underrated actor. He did a superb job in this amazing film. This is a must see movie.

When a Stranger Calls

This was an OK movie. Kept the suspense up. I still want to see the original.

Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat

Lame. This is another movie that could have been better.

The Amityville Horror

The original is better and scarier. They just used a lot of cheap scare tactics. It's mostly based off a true story which is why the original is so scary - because it seems like it could happen!! Why did they have to move to the unbelievable?

I was expecting so much more than what I got from this movie. It could have been so much better.

Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story

It was funny but not totally funny. It was just ok.

Dante's Peak
Dante's Peak(1997)

This movie was awesome. Really cool visuals and story. Good stuff.

We Own the Night

This was a glorified CourtTV television show with big actors. It was still good but there were definitely some dull and stupid parts. Whatever. This definitely could have been better. This would have been amazing if CourtTV produced this. If I saw this on TV I'd be amazed. But seeing this in theaters... that's a different story.

Children of Men

This movie was amazing. Alfonso Cuaron is an amazing director and the use of long takes made this feel like a really scary documentary. The best part: very little Julianne Moore overacting and screen presence in general. This movie was great.

This was an OK movie. They had a great concept and they did a great job at showing it but I thought the ending was a little hokey and the plot was a little dumb. Oh well.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Wow... that was a terrible way for Sean Connery to end his illustrious career with this disaster. What a horrible movie. Silly plot, bad acting, unreal sequences. Come back for one more movie Sean please!!! End your wonderful career on a good note. This was terrible.

The Truman Show

Very interesting movie. The concept is interesting and original and really takes the feeling you get like someone is watching you to the extreme. Jim Carrey does a good job acting in one of his first dramatic roles and Peter Weir does an excellent job of bringing this great story to life.

The Fog
The Fog(2005)

Wow this is one of the worst remakes I've ever seen in my entire life. I went out of my way to see this movie and I've never been more disappointed. Worst movie of all time, right next to The Wicker Man remake. Horrible.

Beverly Hills Ninja

The last great Chris Farley movie. He was an amazing comic. A true loss. Great movie, though. He was hilarious.

Joe Dirt
Joe Dirt(2001)

Pretty funny movie. My favorite scene is the "Silence of the Lambs" throwback. Hilarious.

This movie was great. The music was unbelievable as were the visuals. I need to see the Broadway show... NOW!!

Resident Evil: Apocalypse

They should have just went with what the video games gave. Why fix what isn't broken?

Lethal Weapon

This movie is hilarious. The chemistry with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover is great. They are just a great comic duo. At the same time the action is great and so is the story.

Cabin Fever
Cabin Fever(2002)

This was fucking horrible. Just a lot of shock gore and shit. No good at all.

The Fast and the Furious

This movie was awesome. The cars were sweet and so was the action. Vin Diesel was the man in this.

Holy shit I laughed at almost every joke in this movie. I almost dropped a lung from laughing so much. This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen in my entire life hands down. Thank you Judd Apatow and Seth Rogan.

3:10 to Yuma
3:10 to Yuma(2007)

Man this movie was fuckin awesome! Russell Crowe and Christian Bale did an excellent job in this western. First western I've seen in a long time that was amazing. It's a remake so I'm going to rent the original and see that as well. I can't wait for this to come out on DVD. Definitely adding this to the collection. Great story, great acting, great action, GREAT MOVIE!

Ace Ventura - When Nature Calls

Not a bad sequel. It's still a funny movie but not as good as the first one.

Cinderella Man

Awesome fucking movie. Russell Crowe looks just like Jim Braddock as well. This was just an all around great movie. He was the real Rocky. The comeback king.

Dennis the Menace

Greatest movie from my childhood. Kudos to Walter Matthau for doing this movie. He was a comedic legend.

Pretty funny movie. Justin Long and Jonah Hill are hilarious together. Good movie.

Back to the Future Part III

Too many plot holes to enjoy it and the love story is gay. Chris Lloyd is not a leading romantic man.

Little Nicky
Little Nicky(2000)

One of the only Adam Sandler movies I despise. Total shit.

My Super Ex-Girlfriend

Uma Thurman is hot. Too bad this movie isn't.

Does it get any better than this movie? One of my favorite Tim Burton flicks of all time. This is just an awesome movie with awesome special effects, scenery and story. Bravo!

Panic Room
Panic Room(2002)

I loved this movie. I thought the acting was great, the story was intense and interesting and the editting was awesome. The director of "Seven" took the helm of this one as well so you know it's got to be great.

Miss Congeniality 2 - Armed and Fabulous

Pretty funny movie. Sandra Bullock is of course beautiful and hilarious in this movie and the addition of William Shatner added some more comic flavor to this. Good sequel.

I thought this cartoon was hilarious.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Pretty funny movie. Not as good as Clerks but not bad either.

Bubble Boy
Bubble Boy(2001)

It was OK. Just OK.

Speed 2 - Cruise Control

I think I may be one of few people who really enjoyed this movie. I thought this was an awesome movie with great action and awesome visuals. No Keanu though?

Beautiful movie with great performances from Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts.

Holy shit Elizabeth Hurley is gorgeous. Not a bad comedy. Could have been better but I just hate Brendan Fraser so much that I couldn't completely enjoy it.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding

I loved this movie. This was hilarious. The story is great and the characters are great.

Immortal Beloved

Gary Oldman delivers the goods, as usual, this time as Ludwig Van Beethoven. Great performance by Oldman in this bio-pic that has good intentions but a few too many historical inaccuracies to be great. Still not a bad look at one of my favorite composers.

12 Angry Men (Twelve Angry Men)

Definitely up there as one of the greatest movies of all time. Brilliant acting from not just Henry Fonda and Lee J. Cobb but from all the other ten gentlemen. Fantastic. A must see.

It wasn't too bad. They did a lot with the gore scenes and gave Michael Myers a little bit of a background. It got to be pretty predictable but it was still good.

The Ringer
The Ringer(2005)

I originally thought that this movie would be disgustingly distasteful I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a well done movie with such a touchy subject. Pretty funny comedy.

The Terminal
The Terminal(2004)

Tom Hanks is the fucking man. Need I say more? This movie was terrific. I wish this movie had more promotion. It was so great.

Men in Black II

Pretty good sequel. They had a lot of good gags and the story was pretty cool, as were the effects. Not bad at all.

It wasn't a bad movie. The fight scenes were really cool but I don't think that the FBI would conduct an investigation, especially one concerning the president nearly being assassinated, like that. It was unbelievable in that respect. Oh well. Not bad.

The Rock
The Rock(1996)

What a great movie this is!!! Definitely one of my all time favorite action movies! Sean Connery is the man no matter what anyone says and so is Nicolas Cage. Oh, and of course, Michael Bay delivers the goods with this great story and movie full of great moments.

Happy Gilmore

This is one of the best Adam Sandler movies I've ever seen. Sure, this character would later be recycled into the "Waterboy" sort of but it was still hilarious. Just Bob Barker alone destroying Sandler was enough to make this movie great.

I Think I Love My Wife

My God! I knew this movie wasn't going to be too hot because as I recalled it didn't do that well in the theaters but I wasn't expecting myself to be getting angry while watching it. The plot was weak, the characters were irritating and Kerry Washington's character was just a slut plain and simple. They claimed they were trying to make her high class but they missed by a couple of miles. There were one or two funny parts to this movie but the rest was crap. The ending really did it for me. It could have been fine but God Dammit why did they have to start singing?! That was just stupid! Ugh.

Bram Stoker's Dracula

It was OK. Gary Oldman did great as Dracula but the movie was still slow at times and boring. Oldman makes it worth it though.

Rush Hour
Rush Hour(1998)

Good stuff. Started the series off right. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker have great comedic chemistry and the action is awesome. Jackie Chan is an action icon.

Pretty funny movie. Will Ferrell really made it worth watching.

Inside Man
Inside Man(2006)

Awesome movie. Spike Lee is the man. The story is smart and the acting is good. See this!

Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor(2001)

The love story is way too dramatic and cheesy and it took way too long to get into the thing this movie is supposed to be about: Pearl Harbor. Just too much sappy love drama crap. Still the war scenes were terrific and of course Michael Bay delivers on that and gives us great visuals. He's still the man even though the love story is just a damn mess.

Freddy vs. Jason

Cool concept and cool movie with great scares. This was the first good movie outting for these two since the 80s! Good stuff.

Batman Forever

This was a good transition from the dark Batman movies Tim Burton created to a Batman with brighter more flamboyant surroundings and more colorful villains. I really enjoyed this movie and thought Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones did a great job as my second favorite Batman villians. The Joker is the first.

The Santa Clause

Definitely on my great holiday movies list. This is a great movie. I love it.

Cheaper by the Dozen

This was a great movie. It had it's funny moments and it's touching moments. Good family fun.

Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo

Pretty funny movie. Rob Schneider isn't a great leading actor but given the right movie he can be really funny. This is the right movie for him.

Space Jam
Space Jam(1996)

Pretty cool movie back in the day. I haven't seen it since I saw it in the movies in 96 I think it was but I remember having a good time as a kid.

The Ring Two
The Ring Two(2005)

Eh. Could have been better. They should've just stuck with the one movie. Greedy movie producers.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

A horror movie staple. This was a breakthrough in horror movies. Sure, now that you look back on it the effects are cheesy and they've made so many movies they've watered Freddy down a bit but you gotta look at it for what it was and that was a breakthrough in cinema.

Dumb and Dumber

Pretty funny movie. It was dumb but it was funny. One of my favorite Jim Carrey comedies.

This was the best one in my opinion of the so called "Eight Movies To Die For". This was an extremely graphic and scary movie. The story was a little silly but still I found it to be really good and real suspenseful.

The Gravedancers

The premise of the movie is totally ridiculous but it was still fun to watch... until the end. The beginning did a lot to build the suspense and horror and the ghosts did have some good faces. However when you got to the end and saw the big battle you realized how cheesy it is.

Just Like Heaven

Not a bad chick flick. I thought it was really good.

Casino Royale

Daniel Craig is looking to be an even better James Bond than Pierce Brosnan. No one can touch Sean Connery though. Daniel Craig was perfect as Bond and the story was fantastic. Great movie!

Blood Diamond

This was a really good movie. Yeah, it got a little slow at times but the acting was awesome by Leonardo DiCaprio. I think, however, that the greatest thing about this movie was when I was leaving the movie theater, I said "Now I'm going to go out and buy a big fat fucking diamond" and this woman just turned to me with this look of disgust. It was a joke but that was hilarious. Her face made it even better. Good stuff.

Great movie. This is what I've come to expect from Michael Bay. He always delivers with his movies. I could have done without Ben Affleck but not everything is perfect. Even though the possibilities of an operation like that happening are absolutely zero the idea was interesting as was the action and effects. Good stuff.

Enemy of the State

This was an awesome movie. It makes you think about how much privacy you do have and what the government can watch. Smart and thrilling. Will Smith plays a great hero and Gene Hackman makes a great comeback when he was pretty much shunned for a time in Hollywood. Great stuff here.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

Great movie with a great and original story and great acting. I loved it. This truly was an all around great movie. Jim Carrey has really shown us that he can act and Kate Winslet is, as always, wonderful.

Awesome indy movie. Kevin Smith is a genius.

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

This movie was absolutely hilarious. It's not a movie I'd watch over and over but it was good when I saw it. Borat is one funny bastard.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose

I thought this was going to be a straight up horror movie when I went to see it in the theaters but it's really a courtroom movie with horror mixed in. Not bad at all.

The Hills Have Eyes

Just a lot of gore and shock faces. No story and no acting. Just screaming, blood and violence.

Rain Man
Rain Man(1988)

Dustin Hoffman plays a great "Hook" and autistic guy. Seriously though this is a must see movie. The story and acting are phenominal.

Slow and boring. Not Spielberg's best. Could have been better.

Great music and great cinematography and choreography. Good story too.

Wayne's World 2

Christopher Walken + Mike Myers + Chris Farley = The perfect movie. Great sequel.

What Lies Beneath

Wow what a movie. It's got the star power needed to succeed with Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer in it but it also had a great story complete with thrills and horror. I love this movie. It still scares me.

Jaws 2
Jaws 2(1978)

Not as good as the first one. This one got more far fetched and I hated Roy Scheider even more.

This movie is amazing. It starts off with in your face action and then it goes into off with the face action. I love it. John Travolta and Nicholas Cage must have had a great time filming this. This movie is fantastic and everyone should see it.

Cruel Intentions

Great movie. Reese Witherspoon definitely plays the hot virgin well. I'd zappo her in two seconds. Sarah Michelle Gellar is pretty fine too but the story is awesome as is the acting. They're hot and they can act.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

Awesome sequel. Like the other one I watch this every Christmas as well.

Dr. Dolittle
Dr. Dolittle(1998)

Funny movie with great voice acting. The list of voice actor's reads like a "Whos who" for comedy. Good stuff.

Home Alone
Home Alone(1990)

I don't know why Macaulay Culkin looks so scared on the cover. It's like a trip to the Neverland Ranch. This was an awesome kid movie that I still watch every Christmas.

Sleepless in Seattle

An absolute and total chick flick but it has Tom Hanks in it so it's really good. He's the man. He sucks you right into the movie!

Child's Play
Child's Play(1988)

I'll never forget seeing this movie for the first time when I was young. It gave me nightmares for weeks. Now that "Bride of Chucky" and "Seed of Chucky" has come out and they ruined the character it's not that scary anymore. But back in the 80s, early 90s this was a scary ass movie with great effects.

Wayne's World

Wayne's World! Party Time! Excellent! I love this movie, especially when they're singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the car!

American Wedding

Pretty funny movie. Didn't capture the magic of the first "American Pie" but it was still good and I was still laughing.

I, Robot
I, Robot(2004)

I'm pretty sure I'm one of very few people who absolutely enjoyed this movie. I thought the story was awesome, the effects were awesome, and the action was awesome. Great movie. Cool way to think of the future.

The Village
The Village(2004)

This really started M. Night Shyamalan's downslide with his movies. This doesn't even come close to touching "The Sixth Sense" or "Unbreakable" or even "Signs". This just didn't do it for me.

The Blair Witch Project

It was a cool movie at the time it came out when you didn't know whether it was real or not but since it wasn't and you don't see anything and nothing happens it sucks. I thought I was going to have a seizure from all the moving around with the cameras. Still I got to give props for creativity.

Rush Hour 2
Rush Hour 2(2001)

This movie is hilarious. I think it's even better than the first one, which is rare for a sequel. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker have good comedic chemistry and there's a lot of great action as well.

Super Size Me

Man, everytime I see this movie/documentary I say I'm never going to eat McDonalds again! I do anyway but I think about this everytime I do.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

This was a pretty good movie. It's a chick flick but I really enjoyed watching it.

Die Another Day

Not a bad Bond movie but not as good as Brosnan's others like "Goldeneye" or "Tomorrow Never Dies". Halle Berry was hot though.

Hocus Pocus
Hocus Pocus(1993)

Great Halloween movie that's not a horror movie. It's a nice little comedy but not all at the same time. It could be real scary for kids or real thrilling like it was for me when I was little. Since then I watch it every Halloween.

Real grizzly film that really only takes place in one room but keeps you totally interested the whole time. The story is real smart and the acting is good. It's real gorey too. Good start to the series.

Air Force One

Pretty good movie. I wish Harrison Ford was our president because he's real bad ass. A great supporting cast and great effects makes this movie enjoyable. Oh, and of course, it has Harrison Ford's usual "tough guy" line he says before killing the main bad guy.

Kindergarten Cop

"Who is your Daddy and what does he do?" "Stop whining!!!" All classic lines and all came from this movie. It's good for a couple of laughs.

Not a bad movie and not a bad way for Jane Fonda to return to movies. Jennifer Lopez is hot in this but it's still not enough to save this movie. I wish she would go back to making movies like "Selena" and "Enough".

Van Helsing
Van Helsing(2004)

Van Helsing is the man. He goes through just about every 18th century bad ass like Count Dracula and Frankenstein and totally whoops them and gets the super sexy Kate Beckinsale. See this movie!

Hollow Man
Hollow Man(2000)

This is a pretty good thriller movie. Kevin Bacon does a good job even though you never really see him in this movie. The effects are really good as are the thrills. Story is just as far fetched as when it came out in the 1800s but it's still good.

Pulp Fiction
Pulp Fiction(1994)

This movie is a brilliant masterpiece. Quentin Tarantino is the man and the performances in this movie are fantastic as well. Strong performances from John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, and Uma Thurman and great supporting from Bruce Willis and Ving Rhames. This is an all around great movie. A must see.

What a touching movie this is. Robin Williams gives us a great performance as a ten year old struggling in a forty year old's body (Tom Hanks still did better in "Big" but it's ok). I love the fact that Bill Cosby is in this movie. He's awesome. See this touching movie.

The Dukes of Hazzard

This was an OK adaptation from the small screen to the big screen. Just OK. I felt they could have done more with the story because I felt it was a little weak and it really shyed away from the original TV show. Watch it if it's on HBO.

This is a great holiday movie. Will Ferrell is so good in this movie which is hilarious and heart warming all at the same time. This will become a staple in everyone's holiday movie list in the years to come.

Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd

Pretty lame. No, that's not the word. Terrible. That line should have been "There's shit all over the screen!"

A Few Good Men

Jack Nicholson is the man and if you can't handle that truth then don't see this movie. This movie is fantastic. SEE THIS!

The Invasion
The Invasion(2007)

It was a good idea in 1956 but then it was called "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." This was pretty unoriginal however I will say that the movie started strong. They lost me with the pacing, politics, and the last half of the movie. I felt like they were trying to put me to sleep because they infected me during the screening.

Wild Hogs
Wild Hogs(2007)

It was funny but not hilarious. I could have done without Ray Liotta but at least he wasn't terrible. The end credits were real funny I must admit that. Marisa Tomei is, of course, hot. Thank God she was in this movie.

The Break-Up
The Break-Up(2006)

This is a good movie that really captures the essence of breaking up... which it should. They based it on my life.

The Fugitive
The Fugitive(1993)

Wow this movie is amazing. Harrison Ford is awesome in this movie. Tommy Lee Jones is equally as amazing. The story is so good. What a smart thriller this is. This is a must see.

Not the bst movie Halle Berry has been in. I think it was better than "Catwoman" but this was still pretty bad.

Sister Act
Sister Act(1992)

This is a real fun movie. I like the idea of it, I like the comedy in it, I love the music in it. This is just a good old fashioned fun movie.

Sandra Bullock was very impressive in this movie. I think this has to be some of her most challenging work in the past five years. She played this perfectly. The story was a little silly and at times hard to follow but it all made sense in the end. Only thing I don't get is why is it called "Premonition"? All she does is bounce around random days of the week with no explanation and of all weeks it's got to be a week when her husband kicks. Of course.

Beavis and Butt-head Do America

Who doesn't love Beavis and Butt-head? I'm sure a lot of people don't but fuck you I love them. This movie is hilarious.

The Craft
The Craft(1996)

I've seen this before and I don't remember it being half bad. I don't remember it being half good either.

Back to the Future

Honestly one of my favorite movies of all time. This movie will always be one of my good memories from childhood from watching the video for the first time to going on the ride. It's still so much fun to watch even now. The special effects were really good for the day and Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd have a great chemistry on screen and their story as they try to get Marty McFly back to 1985 is great. I love "science" of it (it seems well thought out) and I love the 1950's era and the way they dressed the sets. It's fantastic. I just wish time travel was real.

The Little Mermaid

Man this was my favorite movie when I was little. I used to set up all my "Little Mermaid" action figures and I'd crush them like Ursula!! I love this movie.

Con Air
Con Air(1997)

Good stuff. Nick Cage is the man and totally bad ass in this movie. Can't go wrong with John Malkovich in a supporting role either. See this.

True Lies
True Lies(1994)

Excellent movie. Full of non stop action, funny story, great comedy and Ahnold. This is a must see film for all.

Shark Tale
Shark Tale(2004)

Great movie. I love these computer animated movies. They're always going to be hits. Hell, you put that much time and effort into animating it the story better be good! This one was no different and the actor's voicing the characters reads like a "Who's who" of Hollywood. Great movie.

Alice in Wonderland

A true Disney classic. Nothing like watching cartoons get high as hell and hallucinate for ninety minutes.

The Bourne Ultimatum

This movie was AMAZING! What a way to end the trilogy. The Bourne movies are so smart and action packed and this one was no different. It contains some of the greatest action in a movie I've seen in a long time (aside from Die Hard!). This is definitely one of the best action films I've ever seen and one of the best thrillers I've ever seen. This movie has it all!

The People Vs. Larry Flynt

Larry Flynt is the fucking man. Courtney Love's tits and body is weird, though.

101 Dalmatians

Great movie from my younger years. I'll never forget the first time seeing this movie when I was young. I still have the VHS! I'll love this movie forever and I'll have my children watch this... twenty years from now when I have them haha.

Certainly an interesting concept for a movie. Watching a movie from the end to the beginning is a cool idea and it was done really well by Christopher Nolan in this movie.

Man of the Year

Man, this was a horrible movie. The trailer was so deceiving!! I didn't see it in the movies but I saw the trailer and thought to myself "It looks so funny so I'm just going to go out and buy it!" I did and I'm surprised I made it through the whole movie without killing myself. It wasn't funny except for one scene and the rest is just ridiculous. You have to choose which genre you're writing for because the writers seemed to have wanted to cram serious comedy, action and drama storylines all into one. What a bad mix. Laura Linney was worse than ever in this, by the way.

Thank god they let Robin Williams go to town with his improv because this movie wouldn't have been half as food if they didn't allow him to. Robin Williams is hilarious and this makes up for his other travesty that came out that year (Man of the Year). He's still got it!

The Simpsons Movie

Even though I'm not a huge fan of the Simpsons (I've only seen three or four episodes straight through... seriously) I was able to enjoy this movie and get a kick out of it. Everything about it was really funny. I do wish that all the really good jokes weren't given away in the trailer but a few other zingers appeared in the movie that really got me going. One thing though I need to say. I went to the ten o'clock showing and three people had infants with them in carriages and all they did really was scream and cry. People of Wayne, NJ - LEARN HOW TO BE A PARENT BEFORE YOU DECIDE NOT TO GET AN ABORTION YOU WASTES OF LIFE! Children under the age of one have no business being out in a movie theater when you know they're just going to scream and cry. If you really want to see the movie get the bootleg or GET A BABYSITTER! Thank you. That is all.

Gridiron Gang

I am more impressed than ever with The Rock. He is an amazing actor and I'm not just saying that because I was a big fan of him in WWE. I'm saying it because it's true. He made this movie great. You kind of knew where it was going all along but The Rock made it interesting and real. It was just fantastic. I did get a little tired of the gang violence bullshit - I just felt it was too much and it was really retarded. Scary thing is it probably really is what happens on the streets. Oh well. This was still a great movie. Check it out.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry

Not too bad. Not the greatest Adam Sandler movie I've ever seen but it was still good. The movie really was just a solid hour of gay bashing and then another half hour of "We love gays." At least they did it tastfully.

Amazing movie! I absolutely loved it. Usually I'm not too big on movie musicals but this one was definitely an exception. Also I wasn't too sure of how I felt about John Travolta as Edna Turnblad but I was so happy to see he was amazing. Absolutely great. This movie has everything - amazing music, amazing actors, amazing dancers, amazing scenery! This is a must see movie.

I Know Who Killed Me

Terrible. No, scratch that. REALLY TERRIBLE!! I can't believe I paid to watch this garbage. This is easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The guy who "kills" her is so obvious you had to know it was him from the beginning. The movie started off good, then started getting silly and boring and then went straight into the ridiculous. Horrible. No wonder she's a coke head. You have to be to make a movie like this. The ending... TERRIBLE!! Please skip this movie. I'm begging you. I'm doing you a favor by telling you it really is two different girls and the movie is horrible. Unreligious stigmata is the theme. I gave it all away. Don't you see how horrible that idea is?!?! SKIP THIS!!!

You've Got Mail

It was a good movie with some awesome acting from Tom Hanks but other than a few differences this is really "Sleepless in Seattle" with a different name. Still good stuff. Nice romantic comedy.

The Devil Wears Prada

Great movie with some really fine acting from the always wonderful Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, who really surprised me with her ability. The story was a little predictable in terms of the relationships - you always kind of knew what was going to happen and were expecting it but all in all this was a terrific movie. I might even read the book.

This is a classic horror film that scared me so much when I was little. Now it has a chance to scare me again because Rob Zombie has the remake coming out soon!! Michael Myers is your classic horror movie bad guy who never stops coming and Jamie Lee Curtis plays an excellent damsel in distress. Definitely a great movie to rent for your horror fest in October.

Mars Attacks!

It was OK. It's a Tim Burton film and it had Jack Nicholson in it so it wasn't half bad but it really was. I just barely liked it.

The Green Mile

Probably one of the most amazing movies I've ever seen. So beautiful and what a story! I can't believe it's a Stephen King story but it's not totally unbelievable. It has a lot of his trademarks in it. See this. Tom Hanks is amazing in this!!

Angels in the Outfield

Good idea on paper but bad idea on screen. Not bad but not good. Nice mix.

Great movie. Not one of my all time favorites but it had Sam Jackson in it so it was awesome. The idea was great but not enough to save it.

Until I see Daniel Craig in some more Bond movies it'll continue to be a toss up with me on who is the best James Bond since Sean Connery. This movie was a great way to introduce Bond to the nineties in a non-Cold War world. It was also a breath of fresh air since the two terrible Timothy Dalton Bond movies. The storyline was awesome as was the action. This is probably one of my favorite Bond movies of all time! Check this one out and play the game for the now ancient N64 if you can!

Fight Club
Fight Club(1999)

Probably one of the most brilliant movies I've ever seen. So great with some great action and twists. Check it out. This is a movie everyone loves.

The Butterfly Effect

Awesome movie. Really well done with some great acting by Ashton Kutcher. Definitely makes you think what happens if you could change life altering situations. Great movie. So smart.

Driving Miss Daisy

Amazing movie!! Morgan Freeman gives the performance of a lifetime in this movie, as does the late great Jessica Tandy, who truly deserved the Oscar for her wonderful portrayal of the aging southern woman. It's great to see the progression of their friendship over time and the whole work is a beautiful masterpiece. The music is fantastic too! An example to see how great it is (besides seeing this movie) is to see "The Holiday" and watch Jack Black impersonating it! Great stuff!!

The Addams Family

Good movie. This was the movie of summer of 2002 - every week my friends and I would watch this - don't ask me why. It's funny, it's dark, it's good. Check it out.

Patch Adams
Patch Adams(1998)

An interesting bio-pic about a doctor with some strange methods of healing. Robin Williams does a great job of bringing feeling and comedy but the movie still lacks because who really cares about Patch Adams?

Guess Who
Guess Who(2005)

Not bad. Not great but not bad. The original is better.

Office Space
Office Space(1999)

Wow this movie is hilarious. I see this as the footprint for what all comedies are today. Just random things happening with a cool story. I love this one. "I misplaced my stapler... I could burn this place to the ground..." Classic.

Liar Liar
Liar Liar(1997)

Really funny movie. I believe this was Carrey's first attempt at a comedy with an actual emotion rather than a guy who just saves animals. Great story, great jokes, great movie.

Along Came Polly

OK movie. Philip Seymour Hoffman really made this worth watching. He was hilarious. Other than that the plot was weak, as were the jokes.

101 Dalmatians

I loved this movie when I was a kid. Great live action movie based on the animated film. Glenn Close did awesome as Cruella DeVil. Hugh Laurie was hilarious in this. Great movie. I wish I could remember where I put the VHS. I want to watch it now!

Batman & Robin

What a terrible way to end the Batman franchise for the nineties. Batman and Batman Returns were awesome. Batman Forever was pretty good with Joel Schumacher at the helm but this movie is inexcusable. Even Schumacher apologized for this movie. It's terrible.

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Classic. What else can you say?

Just Married
Just Married(2003)

It was funny at times but not funny enough to really keep me interested. The story was a little weak and boring at times.

Back to the Future Part II

Not as good as the original but a billion times better than the third one. I hope they didn't actually think that's what things would look like in 2015. That's a little far fetched. Still the story was pretty cool and so were the effects and the dream of it. Time travel is interesting. Check it out.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I thought this movie was awesome. Definitely my favorite one since Chamber of Secrets. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan so of course I've read the books and know them very well so when it comes to staying true to the book this movie doesn't really do that, which is upsetting. However, they've made some things maybe a little better and there's no arguing that this movie contains some really great moments. I do wish that they had spent a little more with Dumbledore's Army because I felt there wasn't enough put into that and I wish they dove more into why Dumbledore wouldn't speak to Harry. The explanation at the end of the movie was real quick and for the whole movie things were a little choppy but that's ok. I was still thoroughly entertained. Contrary to what many critics say the magic is STILL there!

Rumor Has It
Rumor Has It(2005)

Not the greatest of movies. To even have a movie as great as "The Graduate" be spawned off to this movie is a travesty. There were some funny parts but the story was really pathetic and real dull at times. It's on HBO. See it there only. Do not rent this. It would be a waste of money.

Interview with the Vampire

Real good movie. The costumes and the sets were awesome, as was the acting. Very interesting to see Kirsten Dunst, who got her start in this movie.

Jackass: Number Two

Really just a collection of stunts and pranks that are pretty gross and some made me cringe just by watching. Not much more to it than that.

Men in Black
Men in Black(1997)

Good movie. Real entertaining and very funny. Sure it gets a little crazy but I still really enjoyed it and the special effects were pretty cool. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith make a good comedy duo. Also, Rip Torn is the man! How did he come up with that awesome name?!

Jurassic Park III

The storyline was really weak but it was good to see Sam Neill back as Dr. Grant. It was fun to watch but there were times in the storyline where you just have to cringe.

Mission: Impossible

This was a pretty cool movie. The plot was really good, the action was really good it's just Tom Cruise can get on your nerves at times. One of the better TV Series adaptations. Definitely one of the best adaptations of 1996 - definitely better than Lost in Space, though I confess I think that was from 1997.

The Lost World - Jurassic Park

A good try but it couldn't touch the original Jurassic Park. It was a good premise but when the dinosaur was running around San Diego I was like "This is retarded." Not bad but not the best by a long shot.

Peter Pan
Peter Pan(2003)

While I'll always love the cartoon version more this live action version wasn't bad at all. Jason Isaacs made a great Captain Hook and Jeremy Sumpter did well as Peter Pan. It stayed really true to the book so that was a good thing. I for the most part enjoyed it and thought the visuals were amazing.

Die Hard
Die Hard(1988)

Definitely up there as one of my favorite action movies of all time. Bruce Willis' star is born in this movie and so is a successful franchise. Alan Rickman plays the bad guy so well in this it's crazy. Everyone should see this movie if they claim to be a fan of action.

The Wedding Singer

Definitely one of my all time favorite Adam Sandler movies. This is probably the best one he's put out ever. It's such a great story and so funny! The music is awesome as well. However it's not typical Sandler with the ridiculous characters - Robbie Hart is a character everyone can connect with - someone who just wants to live his dream and have a family. Great movie! See it!

I for the most part enjoyed this movie. It was predictable at times (actually the whole time) and there was never any real storyline other than the rat wants to cook it had it's good parts. There were some parts where I found it to be genuinely funny and then there were some parts where maybe it may have been a little overdone. While it can't touch what Pixar did with "Toy Story" or "The Incredibles" this was a really good try. It was better than "Cars" by a long shot. Besides it has Peter O'Toole voicing in this. That's good enough for me.

National Treasure

Definitely one of my favorite movies ever. I'm a huge history fan so of course I'm going to love this movie. However, not only is it packed with historical facts, it's packed with great thrills and action and Nick Cage. It's amazing! See this!

Scary Movie 2

Tim Curry absolutely made this movie. He's so funny. The movie itself is pretty funny but Tim Curry is the man. Though my favorite part of the movie happens with the handicapped guy and the guy with one hand. You'll see it. You'll love it. It's hilarious.

Live Free or Die Hard

The best Die Hard movie of the series, hands down. I wasn't expecting it to be half as good as it was. In fact, I went in with the mentallity of "OK, this will be a good nostalgia pop." Well not only was it a good nostalgia pop it was an AWESOME movie! Sure, there were some things where I was like "OK, there's no way someone would live through that" but it was still awesome because it's Bruce Willis as John McClane... and he's not as annoying as in the other Die Hard movies where he can get annoying. Awesome movie. See this or Die Hard! Ok, that was bad...

Bride of Chucky

I can't believe they did another Chucky movie and it wasn't even close to being good. There was nothing scary about it and the whole experience made me hate my life for the hour and a half the movie went on.

This was the first scary movie that I've liked in a long time. Finally a movie where they don't need to have vicious blood, guts and violence to sell it and make it "scary." This was just a straight up thrill ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat and scared of what might come next. On the flip side there are some parts that are a little silly but other than that this is some great acting by John Cusak who basically pulls a one man show here. Very well done. See this!

Gone in 60 Seconds (Gone in Sixty Seconds)

Awesome movie!! I love Nicolas Cage and especially in roles like these. The cars were awesome too. The plot was pretty strong as was the rest of the cast. You have to see this movie!!

The Da Vinci Code

I wish they stayed more true to the book. It was good but the book was better. My big criticism is, both in the book and the movie, is how did this guy unlock the mystery of the Holy Grail in one night while alluding the cops all at the same time? It's a little far fetched.

Amazing movie!!! One of my favorite films from my childhood. It's so funny and the music is awesome. The animation is awesome too but what would you expect from Disney?!

Not bad. It offers an interesting look at the "not so distant" future with gene altering and frauding identities. It was cool but the story got kind of boring at time.

Home Alone 3
Home Alone 3(1997)

Why did they have to ruin the Home Alone series with a third one?

Jack Nicholson is the MAN! He is so incredible in this movie it's ridiculous! Jack Nicholson really brought the character of the Joker to life with his stunning abilities. The story is awesome, the action is brilliant, the score (by Danny Elfman) is BRILLIANT, and the direction is brilliant. See this!!

Schindler's List

One of the greatest movies of all time. Timeless with a beautiful story about a man who stood up for what was right when no one else would. Amazing movie.

Date Movie
Date Movie(2006)

"I love Puerto Rican men - they're spicy!" That's about the only funny thing in this movie.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Definitely one of the funniest movies from the 80s and one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It's definitely a classic.

Napoleon Dynamite

There's a lot of people that love this movie and thought it was hilarious - I'm not one of them. I chuckled at a few parts but for the most part I thought it was dumb and annoying. Sorry world.

Maybe if there wasn't a war going on and this movie wasn't playing out the prequel to that war I'd like it a lot more. It was excellent, don't get me wrong. It was definitely the best acting job I've seen done by Jake Gyllenhaal yet, but it's just no good to come out showing the dark side of war when there's a war going on with tons of dark side in it. It's a great movie - it just came at the wrong time, in my opinion.

Peter Pan
Peter Pan(1953)

Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. This is one of the first movies I ever remember seeing. I was amazed with the story - it was so magical. Peter Pan was so cool but the coolest in the eyes of a three year old (and still today) was Captain Hook. His antics with Mr. Smee were hilarious. The music was awesome too. I can't put enough words into how much I loved this movie. See it for yourself.

One of my favorite movies or all time! Who would have thought Robin Williams would make such an awersome Peter Pan?! And Dustin Hoffman as the main character Hook... simply unbelievable. He really brought Hook to life. He was out of this world amazing. I like the updated version with a great story about discovering who you are and never letting go of childhood and if you do it's never too late to get it back. I love this movie.

Apparently Scotty doesn't know. Has he found out yet? Hilarious. Stupid but hilarious.

Big Daddy
Big Daddy(1999)

Really good movie. Really touching and very sweet. Oh, and very funny too!!

I remember seeing this in the movies and then seeing it when it came out on video. Some of it was confusing, some of it dragged, the rest was pretty good. Not sure I'd see it any more times than I already have.

Mrs. Doubtfire

Definitely up there as one of the best comedy movies I've ever seen in my life. Robin Williams gives a killer performance as Daniel Hillard and Mrs. Doubtfire. Amazing movie. The costumes are incredible and the story is awesome too.

Wild Wild West

Poorly done. For a movie that was one of the most expensive movies made to that date and the cast that they had I would expect a little more. Verry sloppy.

Billy Madison

I used to like this movie until I was in the 7th grade which was in 1999. I had a friend who for some reason deemed Adam Sandler, who has done nothing heroic in his life, his hero. For that we had to watch this movie seven times in a row in one night. The most miserable night I've ever had. I haven't watched this movie straight through since then.

Batman Returns

This one is way darker than the first one was. I used to love this movie when I was younger (I even have a taped video of my acting out the penguin's part) but now I've become disillusioned with it. It's just way too dark.

Sleepy Hollow

A good Tim Burton movie filled with the dark humor, dark atmosphere, dark actors and dark settings. Oh, and the dark story. Thankfully Tim Burton is one of those guys who can take dark things and make them beautiful. Another strong score by Danny Eflman too. He's amazing.

The Omen
The Omen(2006)

Pretty good remake of this iconic horror film. I'm glad they used the mother's dreams in this one. They were so scary!! This movie really got my heart pumping. Though nothing is ever as good as the original starring Gregory Peck this is a wonderful attempt.

Pretty much your basic Mel Brooks spoof movie. This one was a little funnier because of the people involved but still a silly little spoof movie that had some laughs and that's about it.

Hide and Seek

Pretty awesome movie!! Even though a lot of people claim they figured it out before the killer is revealed I didn't when I first saw it. Great thriller/horror film!!

Jurassic Park

Wow definitely my favorite movie from my childhood and one of my favorite movies of all time. Absolutely brilliant movie!! The special effects were amazing, the acting was awesome, the action was INTENSE!! This movie is something special and everyone needs to see it!

Catch Me If You Can

This was an awesome movie! It's amazing what this guy did to outrun the feds and get over on everyone. Amazing counterfeit happenings. Tom Hanks puts in a great performance but Leonardo DiCaprio is amazing in this. Well done performance by him... and Christopher Walken is his father!!

Cast Away
Cast Away(2000)

This movie is awesome. It's pretty much a one man show with Tom Hanks and a volleyball. I never knew losing a ball with a face painted on it could be such a powerful scene. I loved this movie. It's amazing. Tom Hanks is the man.

Fantastic Four

I enjoyed this movie when I saw it in the theaters. The story was cool, the effects were cool, the action was good. It was a good movie. I can't believe Silver Surfer spawned from this. That's pretty bad.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

I absolutely love this movie. I'll love it forever. It's so clever and well done and it has all my favorite cartoons from when I was younger. Great story and great visuals. See this!!!

The Passion of the Christ

No one creates a more powerful maiming on screen than Mel Gibson.

Memoirs of a Geisha

I absolutely loved this movie. This was so good it was ridiculous. What a powerful story told about women who didn't have a choice in the geishas of Japan. They were sold to these places and it's amazing to see the training (mental and physical) and the way they actually behaved. The sets were amazing as was the acting and cinematography. See this!!

This movie was off the charts awesome. I've never seen effects like I did in that movie. It was so amazing. The story was really strong. Some people claim the well of creativity for movies has been tapped dry. This movie proves them wrong. I hope they use more Greek mythology for movies. Most myths are awesome and could definitely make for good movies. Amazing movie. One of the best of 2007.

Team America: World Police

Hilarious. Totally raunchy but it works for this movie!

Forrest Gump
Forrest Gump(1994)

This movie is AMAZING! Tom Hanks gives one of the performances of his life as the mentally challenged Forrest Gump unwittingly glides his way through some of the most important events in America during the 60s and 70s!!

Great Disney movie. I always love the music and the lyrics in Disney movies. The story is really strong, as is the voice acting and the animation!

A Beautiful Mind

I loved this movie. It's so wonderfully directed and they really do a wonderful job of displaying John Nash's struggle with his inner voices and his struggle to come back. It's an amazing and inspiring movie. See this!!

Jackass - The Movie

Oh god, when they show them papercutting that guys eyelids... I just cringed thinking about it. Sick stuff. Entertaining too.

The Good Son
The Good Son(1993)

It was a good movie but it was pretty predictable and it's just way too hard to believe that twelve year olds could be that sinister and cold and calculating. I say they can't. Still, good acting. It's interesting to see what they became.

Deep Impact
Deep Impact(1998)

I'm not sure why but I almost cried during this movie. I thought it was excellent and very well done. Love the story. It's old but it works. See this.

Eh. Not my favorite. I got bored watching this movie.

The Grudge
The Grudge(2004)

I like the Japanese version a lot better but this isn't a bad Americanized attempt. Just like "The Ring" was.

World Trade Center

I originally opposed this movie coming out because I felt it was too soon but I finally saw it and I felt it was done with respect and an amazing true story was brought back to life and done well. Great movie.

Pretty good slasher flick. At least it had some attempt at a plot and story. Full of blood and guts though and tons of T and A.

Pretty ridiculous but also pretty good. The acting is kind of cheesy but other than that it's a pretty good movie.

The Waterboy
The Waterboy(1998)

Pretty funny. Adam Sandler's speech impediment kind of gets on your nerves as it goes on but it's still pretty funny.

City of Angels

Pretty much the definition of a sappy love story. It was good but just so overly sappy it's crazy.

The Patriot
The Patriot(2000)

I'm a huge fan of this movie not because I'm a huge history fan (I am, but that's not why). I'm a huge fan because this is an awesome movie. What a beautiful story. I think I'm going to watch this movie tonight. It's that awesome.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

What a great movie. I loved it when I was a kid and I still love it - I saw it a few weeks ago. Really good stuff. Love the old school special effects.

Snakes on a Plane

For a ridiculous story and hilarious acting this is a good movie. Not much else to say.

The Phantom of the Opera

I'll always love the stage play more but this was a good attempt.

Saw III(2006)

Definitely the weakest of the three "Saw" movies so far. It was OK but I think they could have done a lot better.

If they didn't show the alien I'd have liked it a lot more. All that tension and when you see it you're like "That's it?!". Still good.

Not as good as the original. Got really stupid and annoying. Definitely not one of my favorite movies. The effects were good though.

Me, Myself & Irene

Hilarious!! One of my favorite Jim Carrey movies ever. He's so good in this and so are his sons. They're hilarious.

The Exorcist
The Exorcist(1973)

Definitely up there on my most disturbing movie list ever. This is such a crazy movie. I'm surprised Linda Blair isn't more messed up than she really is from making this movie as a kid. Watch this if you want to be scared.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me

It was funny but not at all like the first. The story got really stupid (not like the first one wasn't, but this was a bad stupid). In my opinion the writers got sloppy. Not bad but not good either.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Up there on my favorite all time movies list. I love the chemistry between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery as father and son. Sean is a master actor and Harrison isn't so bad himself. The story is fun - typical Indiana Jones. Really, really good.

Pan's Labyrinth

Probably one of the greatest international movies I've ever seen. The story was beautiful but sad, the visuals were stunning and the acting was awesome. The visuals, though, I just can't stop thinking about. The Faun was so scary!! Also, when the captain kills the farmer's son, that has to be one of the grizzliest killings I've seen on screen. Yikes!! Great movie though. Definitely not what I was expecting.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

This is the original and will always be my favorite!! Gene Wilder is so great in this. The visuals, the music, the story, the whole thing is fantastic. God bless Roald Dahl!!

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

I'll never forget seeing this movie for the first time and falling out of my chair from laughing so hard. Probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen in my entire life.

Raiders of the Lost Ark

You just got to love the original. Indiana Jones is the man and so is Harrison Ford! Great story with awesome visual effects which were groundbreaking for the day!! Check it out!!!

Good movie. The visual effects were amazing for the time. It had a good story and that's what's really important.

The Number 23

Awesome movie. This really showcases Jim Carrey's unique acting ability. The ending got kind of predictable as the story unfolded but it was full of good twists, thrills and acting. Check it out!

Secret Window

When looking up psychological thriller there should be a picture of the poster for the movie, then the definition. I absolutely loved this movie. Johnny Depp is totally brilliant. This is a must see!

Mr. Deeds
Mr. Deeds(2002)

"I like feet. I'm very, very sneaky." Two of my favorite lines from that movie. This is a hilarious movie that's even better than the first one (yes, I did see it). Adam Sandler is the man!!

The Matrix Revolutions

Really good stuff. I thought it could've ended on a better note but I understand why it happened. Visuals are, again, AMAZING!!!

The Matrix Reloaded

Like the first one the visual effects are amazing. The story gets to be a little hard to understand so there needs to be a third one but you get the premise. With the third movie, which thankfully came out around the same time, everything makes sense and gets tied together. See the Matrix Trilogy all in a row to really get it!

Training Day
Training Day(2001)

What an awesome movie this is!! Denzel Washington is the man. Every movie he's in never disappoints. The story is great, the dialogue is great, the acting is superb, the visuals are awesome, and it's full of suspense. See this movie!!

The Others
The Others(2001)

Wow, this movie was totally brilliant. This is a great horror film. This is what horror films should be like always. Full of intensity, character dilemma, scary kids and even scarier people haunting the house and a story that will scare the stuffing out of you!! That's my kind of film. Kudos to the filmmakers and Nicole Kidman. She did an excellent job in this.

It was good but not as good as the first one. This seems to be the case for all of the "Silence of the Lambs" sequels. Hopkins is of course brilliant but Julianne Moore is irritating and the story itself is even more irritating. It does have a lot of cool visuals though.

The Bourne Supremacy

Man this one is just as good as the first. Rare for a sequel. It's loaded with edge of your seat thrills, smart and sophisticated happenings and tons of action. I can't wait for the third one to come out!!

The Sixth Sense

This movie is so good and so scary. I remember when I first saw it I was afraid to go in the kitchen at night for a long, long time. Awesome!!

Finding Neverland

This movie was AMAZING! I'll never forget I left the theater when I saw this feeling like I got my full money's worth and then some. Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet are two of the best actors of the day and it really shows in this movie. Absolutely brilliant.

Man on the Moon

Really great performance from Jim Carrey but this movie just didn't need to be made. It was good but not great.

Big Momma's House 2

Really funny but the plot was a little weak. I liked the first one a lot better but this still packed the laughs.

16 Blocks
16 Blocks(2006)

I liked the story but it got annoying and dumb at times. The ending was what really infuriated me.

Wow... this movie was terrible. The acting was good but the movie as a whole started good then for the next hour and a half it just dragged on and on for what felt like hours. The movie is over two hours long... and it definitely felt like it.

Seven (Se7en)

This is such a great movie. It's such a thriller - it really does keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time. The script is well written. Keeps you intrigued the whole time. While some of the scenes are disturbing they're also beautiful in a spooky kind of way. It makes you realize things about people. It's really smartly written and a good time for anyone who sees this movie.

Stranger Than Fiction

Eh. It was just OK. I got what they were doing but it was all just really stupid. No reason for this movie. It wasn't even funny when there were supposed to be serious parts. The parts that were serious were funny to me. Not good.

Man, I was expecting a funny movie with an OK story but what I got was a funny movie with an unbelievable story. What a fantastic movie this is. Honestly towards the end it almost moved me to tears. However, before it moves YOU to tears, you'll be happy to know that there's some great laughs in between and great visuals and Chistopher Walken!! What could be better in a movie?

This was a really good movie. I enjoyed it - Hoffman nailed Truman Capote to a "T". I thought the story was good. Capote was definitely a weird dude.

The Lion King

There's nothing like the music of Elton John and the animation of Disney. Pure classic.

Anger Management

Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. Together it is comic genius. This movie has it all - Jack Nicholson acting insane, Adam Sander going insane and a really great story. Hell, even that hotty Marisa Tomei is thrown in. Yes!

It's a good movie with lots of suspenseful things happening but it's also painful to watch because Harrison has to have his little lines right before he kills the bad guy. The story got a little rough towards the end - how he tracked his dogs collar is beyond me. It's a good movie - just try not to get too upset with some of the plot holes in this.

Toy Story
Toy Story(1995)

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME movie. I remember I would watch this almost every day back in the day. This will always be one of my favorite movies of all time.

The Holiday
The Holiday(2006)

I love this movie. I love the style of Nancy Meyers. She's so brilliant. I loved "Something's Gotta Give" because she made it so sophisticated with deep characters and rich scenes and she does not disappoint at all with this next one. Kate Winslet, as always, is amazing. Who knew Jack Black could be so sweet? I LOVED the part when he impersonates the "Driving Miss Daisy" song. It's so funny. Cameron Diaz is even good in this and that's saying something. All in all a perfect movie. Keep it up Nancy!

Meet the Parents

Great movie. Funny and witty with great comedy performances by Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro. Bobby DeNiro is the man!

The Silence of the Lambs

Anthony Hopkins is absolutely amazing in this movie. This movie is so good it's ridiculous. Too bad the sequels (and prequels) came out. Kind of tarnishes it A LITTLE but not much. I still love this movie and Jodie Foster is awesome as well. Awesome movie.

Phone Booth
Phone Booth(2003)

For really only concentrating on one man in one very small box for more than an hour, on the phone no less, it's actually a good movie. Pretty suspenseful. The premise of it is good but it could have been better. Overall not a bad movie at all.

The Mask
The Mask(1994)

I'll never forget the first time I saw this more than ten years ago and I laughed my ass off. Now more than ten years later I still laugh my ass off at this movie. It's so good. Jim Carrey is the man when it comes to comedy (though his serious stuff is good too). Great visual effects and great songs. I love Cuban Pete!

Million Dollar Baby

Very well done movie. Just goes to show you boxing movies about underdogs never get old. Hillary Swank is amazing in this and this picture finally got my favorite Morgan Freeman an Oscar. This movie will have you rooting for her the whole time. What an ending!!!

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

This was the worst Indiana Jones movie ever. Like Family Guy says "Lady only here because she bang director." Pitiful. At least they recovered with the third one.

The Shining
The Shining(1980)

Wow, this movie scared the crap out of me when I was young and it still does. Jack Nicholson is amazing in this. Kubrick directing is amazing. Shelly Duvall going nuts is awesome. This is just an awesome movie. A staple when it comes to horror movies. Stephen King is the man!!

The Weather Man

This was a really great movie but at the same time really depressing. There's a word for that type of movie - ah yes, emotional. Nicholas Cage and Michael Caine are brilliant in this movie. What a team they made. This movie just goes to show you that you can't have everything in your professional life without your personal life suffering. This really hit home with me coming from a divorced family and a work-a-holic dad. That's why I like this so much. It reminds me of my life.

One of the most amazing movies I've ever seen in my life. Seriously. This movie hit real deep with me. Racism is such an ugly thing and this movie really shows how it affects people personally and what people have it and the ugly things it brings. This movie is so brilliant. I know it shocked everyone when it won Best Picture in 2005 (even Jack Nicholson) but it deserved it. It totally deserved it. A+ movie.

The Pursuit of Happyness

This movie was simply awesome. What an inspirational story this was. Will Smith and Jaden Smith are amazing together. The story was so well told. The locations and the presentation were awesome. The acting was brilliant and one of the best performances of 2006. Will Smith should have won the Best Actor Oscar for this.

Batman Begins

Awesome movie. A great way to recover the Batman franchise after the Batman & Robin debacle. Christian Bale is an amazing Batman and I can't wait for the next one to come out. They're redoing all the storylines and I like that.

The Bourne Identity

I just recently saw this movie and I can't believe it took me this long to see it!! This is awesome and Chris Cooper is in it!! This movie is so smart and full of great thrills and takes you on an up and down roller coaster ride. It's awesome. Simply awesome.

Shallow Hal
Shallow Hal(2001)

It was good at times but it slowed up and got stupid at random bits in the movie. I'm just glad Tony Robbins was in it. He's hilarious.

National Lampoon's Animal House

I can appreciate it for what it was and that was a huge comedy in the 70s but I personally didn't really like it that much. It was funny at times but it just didn't really call to me.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I originally didn't want to see this movie because I didn't want to see the memory of one of my favorite movies from my childhood (the original) have it's memory tarnished by a poor effort. Well I finally caved (two years later) and saw it and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sure, it wasn't as good as the first, but it wasn't half bad. The visual stuff was amazing, Danny Elfman's score, as always, was amazing - even Johnny Depp was good. I like that they give you a little background to Willy Wonka and made some differences between this and the original. I also liked the Oompa Loompa songs. Speaking of them, Deep Roy was amazing in this film. I watched the special features and all the stuff he had to go through was crazy. However, this film was pretty dark in it's own way, which is classic Tim Burton. I'd say you should check it out AFTER seeing the original.

Old School
Old School(2003)

This was awesome!! This movie started it all for Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn. It's so good!! You're my boy Blue! FRANK THE TANK!!!

Anchorman - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy

This is one of the funniest damn movies ever. It's so great it's ridiculous!! Almost all of the "Frat Pack" is in it and that really contributes to the funniness. This is a great movie. See it!!!!

Rocky III
Rocky III(1982)

I liked this one a lot. I wish Mickey didn't have to die but that's ok. It still has Hulk Hogan and Mr. T in it. This is a good Rocky movie. The last good one until Rocky Balboa came out.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

When I saw it in theaters in 1999 I was seriously disappointed. It was really bad. However, now that I've gotten the opportunity to see the trilogy straight through this movie isn't half bad. I probably could have done without the extremely long pod race and baby Anakin taking down numerous star ships but all in all it served it's purpose: introduce Obi Wan and Anakin and show how peaceful the republic was before the war (which starts brewing in this) takes place. It also shows the Sith may be returning.

Donnie Brasco

Amazing movie!! This was so good and shows how brilliant Johnny Depp is. He's so good (as is Pacino in this!!). This movie is sort of overlooked, in my opinion, when talking about awesome mob movies but it shouldn't be. Everyone should check this out if they're interested in the mob. It's a true story.

Star Wars: Empire of Dreams

I saw this when I bought the original trilogy on DVD in 2004. It came with it as a supplemental DVD. It gives a good background on Star Wars and the history and impact it made. Well done documentary.

I didn't see this movie up until this year (2007) and I can't believe I went this long without seeing it!! Al Pacino is the only italian who can convincingly play a Cuban exile and drug dealer. This is such an awesome movie and an awesome remake. A definite must see for everyone!

Rocky IV
Rocky IV(1985)

They hit gold with Rocky III after a crappy Rocky II but they struck out again with Rocky IV. Really stupid movie. I wish they could have just been done with it after Rocky III.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

I didn't really like the book because it ended kind of dumb and, seriously, a whole book building up Harry's godfather and then he dies in the fifth... it's a little crazy. Not a personal favorite but I can't deny the special effects were cool. I do wish, though, that the director didn't change so much in contrast from the book to the film. That didn't particularly thrill me.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

This is my favorite of the series so far. This was fantastic. This was one of my favorite books from the series as well. I love the effects they used in this and pretty much everything is just like I imagined it would be. Harry Potter movies are amazing and this one definitely is. Great way to follow up Sorceror's Stone.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

I love this movie. I was so happy that they stayed true to the book for the most part. That's absolutely key to me. However they also had some great actors, amazing special effects, an AMAZING score, and the sets were amazing as well. This is just a great movie that set up a long line of other great Harry Potter movies.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

This movie was awesome!! Great way to introduce all the characters and get started on the journey to destroy the Ring at Mordor and save Middle Earth. All this movie is about really is introducing characters and giving a nice little piece of action and this delivers!!

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Great movie!! It continues the journey of the Fellowship with trying to get the Took brothers back and Frodo and Sam's journey to Mordor to get rid of the Ring, with Gollum/Smeagol. It even has the return of Gandalf and more awesome scenes with Christopher Lee. This is an awesome movie as is all the LOR movies.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

I wasn't going to see this movie but I had a friend living in my house at the time and NEEDED TO GET AWAY so I saw this and was pretty entertained from start to finish. To me it dragged at time but I understood pretty much everything. Well done movie. I'm thinking about reading the books.

The Day After Tomorrow

Yeah, I'm really going to believe that Jake Gyllenhaal can rally a bunch of people who just lost everything they had and the last people in NYC to survive in a library while his super hero weatherman dad comes for the rescue? OK. Sure.

The Longest Yard

The original is so much better but I liked seeing some of my favorite wrestlers, like Austin and Nash, and seeing Adam Sandler. Not bad but not great.

American Pie
American Pie(1999)

It was really funny and really ridiculous. This was a good movie. Eugene Levy is definitely the man!!

Kill Bill: Volume 1

It's what you'd expect from a Tarantino movie - strange story, blood, gore, disturbing themes and awesomeness. This is a good movie. Check it out. The story is still stupid but everything else is awesome.

Meet the Fockers

I liked it because Dustin Hoffman was in it and so was Robert DeNiro, two amazing actors, but that's pretty much it. It was funny but not that funny and the story was ok. Just a pretty OK movie.

Mean Girls
Mean Girls(2004)

I saw this a number of years ago and I really enjoyed it. It had a really nice story to it and the characters were awesome. See it. Danny DeVito my favorite actor!!!!

2 Fast 2 Furious

The cars were awesome and so were the races. The story was a little but stupid but what can you expect from a car racing movie. I was thrilled by the races so that's what I wanted to see and that's what I got. This movie did it's job.

This movie was good but I've seen Anthony Hopkins in this part before. I don't know if you know but he plays the same character with a different name - you know him as Hannibal Lector. This movie was disappointing. It still had a cool story but it still left a little more to be desired. It could have been way better. The ending was stupid.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

This movie made you sit up and take notice of Jim Carrey. This movie brought him to the world's attention and he hasn't looked back. This movie is hilarious and is one of my favorite comedies of all time. Check it out!

Love Actually

Most movies with British actors about love are amazing. This movie is one of them. Very, very good movie. I liked it a lot. It was smartly funny and witty and very sweet. Check this out.

Finding Nemo
Finding Nemo(2003)

I was so opposed to seeing this movie but when I actually started watching it I couldn't stop. This is a really great (and really funny) movie. The animation is awesome and the story is very well written and heartfelt. I've never felt that way for a fish before. It takes a good movie to do that.

Pretty Woman
Pretty Woman(1990)

Great movie. One of my favorites from the 1990s. Julia Roberts is amazing in this and Richard Gere isn't half bad. I daresay this movie made the two of them. This is a must see movie.

Austin Powers in Goldmember

I liked this movie a lot. It was a nice recovery from the second one (which I didn't care for) but still not as good as the first. This did have some real great moments in it, like the asian twins and Michael Caine in it. The stuff with Fred Savage as the mole was hilarious as well. It's a great movie to watch so I'd say rent this and the original Austin Powers. Leave the second one alone.

Spider-Man 3
Spider-Man 3(2007)

Wow, this movie must have received a world record for most storylines crammed in one movie. Yikes, you never knew what to concentrate on and apparently neither did the film makers. It was a good movie, don't get me wrong. The special effects were awesome. I just had a problem with the ending and a few other things but I won't say anything so as not to give it away.

There's Something About Mary

This movie is so funny. One of the Farrelly Brothers only good ones. Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz had some great chemistry in this and it was just an all around funny movie.

The Notebook
The Notebook(2004)

Not many people know that I've seen this movie so I'm going to publicly say that I loved this movie. What an amazing story this was with some amazing characters. I even came close to crying. I'm very secure with my manhood.

The Messengers

Scary at times and just a borderline OK movie. Could have been a little better in my opinion.

Even though it got blasted by critics and cost Eddie Murphy the Best Supporting Actor Oscar (robbery) this was still a great movie. This gives you an important lesson: never listen to critics. This movie was hilarious. Eddie Murphy is still great. Who's been eating TURKEY ASS?!?!?!

Night at the Museum

This was a really great movie. It gives you a little history lesson and it also has a nice story to it. Very well done and at times very funny too! Great movie!

This movie was amazing. This had me rolling around laughing so hard. How can't you love this movie? Funny, though, I swore I would never see it, deeming it a "kid's movie." Thankfully I came to my senses. You should too if you haven't seen it.

The Godfather, Part III

Has to be one of the biggest disappointments in cinema history, especially after how successful the other Godfather movies were. Just horrible. Sofia Coppola really hurt this movie. This movie just didn't need to happen.

Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 2(2004)

This was a great Spider-Man but still not as good as the first one was. It was just a little too long and Dr. Ock just wasn't one of my favorite villians.

Rocky Balboa
Rocky Balboa(2006)

I was really skeptical of this movie when I first went to see it in theaters (because of Rocky 5) but I was blown away at how awesome it was. The story was real cheesy but that's what makes Rocky so great. You always root for him in the end. This was a great way to end the franchise and bring closure to one of cinema's favorite characters.

Rocky II
Rocky II(1979)

Yikes! This movie was definitely not as good as the first. Not even close. The humor is too forced and childish, especially the part with Rocky doing the commercials. There were some good points to the movie like the second clash of Balboa and Creed but all in all the movie is something I can do without.

Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

What a way to wrap up the "old" trilogy and the whole Star Wars saga! This movie does not fail to deliver and is one of my favorite Star Wars films of all time! Everything comes together in this episode (like it does in Episode Three) and it is very well done.

Ocean's Twelve

This movie was awesome. Like all the Ocean movies it makes you think and it thrills you. I love these movies where you don't know what's going to happen. They're really smart and make you think. Amazing.

The 40 Year Old Virgin

This movie is absolutely hilarious!! Steve Carell is a comic genius with this one and Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd are awesome as well. The story is really great and the comedy is awesome! WE'RE GOIN' NEED MORE WAX!!

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back

This film was hit or miss with some. Some liked it, some didn't. I loved it. This movie needed to happen. You needed to see the Alliance get their ass whooped because it creates drama and makes you want to see them come back and win it all. Besides, it contains one of the most stunning revelations in movie history: Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father. That alone makes the movie worth seeing.

Black Hawk Down

Am I one of the only ones that flat out hated this movie? This is the first movie that I ever saw in theaters that I actually walked out of. Absolutely brutal. Why Hollywood felt compelled to make a movie about a story that was probably one of the most forgettable stories in history is beyond me. I understand they were very heroic. Good for them. No need for a movie about it. Also, there was no need for a war film with so much brutallity at a sensitive time for the world. 9/11 just happened and this comes out, showing how shitty war is. Ridiculous.

Save the Last Dance

I liked this movie when I first saw it in theaters in 2001 but I'll admit that was the last time I've seen it so I can't really give a fair review of it. All I can say is I definitely remember enjoying it so you should see it and let me know what you think of it.

Bruce Almighty

I loved this movie! It's so funny. Jim Carrey is still the man when it comes to comedy and he showed us here. I also love Jennifer Aniston! She's great in this. Steve Carrel definitely will get you laughing as he internally combusts.

50 First Dates

This is a great movie. The comedy is great and so are the actors. The story is really nice and touching as well. The ending makes sense but I was hoping for more. You'll know what I'm talking about if you've seen it.

School of Rock

This movie is awesome. It's really funny and Jack Black is great in it. The part with him singing Led in the van is hilarious. Immigrant Song rules. Great soundtrack and the ending song wasn't half bad. Those kids were awesome as well.

This movie was way better than what I was expecting. I was expecting a good movie with some good thrills but I got a good movie with some GREAT thrills. It was good. Sure the story was a little weak but it made me think twice on staying in sleazy motels.

Finding Forrester

What an awesome movie this was. Honestly, Sean Connery's last great movie. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen doesn't count. The direction was awesome but it's the story that really got me. It was just awesome. Rob Brown was also great. I hope to see him in more movies in the future. He's amazing. We'll miss you Sean Connery! Happy retirement!

The Godfather, Part II

Rarely are sequels ever as good as (maybe even better) than the original but this movie is one of those few exceptions. This movie made Robert DeNiro, as the first one made Al Pacino. The story is amazing, every single part of it. I have nothing bad to say about this film. This is up there on my favorites of all time list!

King Kong
King Kong(2005)

It was good but not as good as the classic version. Sure, the special effects really brought King Kong to life and were dazzling but Peter Jackson, who gave us Lord of the Rings, makes some very, VERY questionable casting calls, in my opinion. I have no problem with the casting of Naomi Watts or even Adrian Brody (I do think they could've done better than him!!) but Jack Black as Carl Denham - that's just ridiculous. Also, the movie kind of drags a bit - it takes 45 minutes just to get to the island. Could have been WAYYY better for the amount of money they spent on this.

The Ring
The Ring(2002)

This was a good Americanized version of the original movie Ringu, which was 10X better. If you can, see Ringu after seeing this so you can see what the Ring is really about. Not a bad attempt though. I did jump at some parts - like the girl in the closet. Don't say you didn't jump!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

It was a great movie, but my favorite Harry Potter movie (so far) is Chamber of Secrets. I just hate, hate, HATE Michael Gambon as Dumbledore. He's horrible. I miss Richard Harris. The special effects were awesome and the revealing of Voldemort was everything I could have dreamed it would be. I was, like many others, upset that they took so many storylines out of it. That was sad. Other than that it was good.

Wedding Crashers

Where do I begin with this movie?! This is one of the funniest movies I've probably ever seen in my life. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson make an excellent comedy duo in this movie with hilarious dialogue and an awesome story. It even has Christopher Walken in it! He rules! If you like a good laugh and love the "Frat Pack" (true fans know what that is!!) you'll love this movie!!

The Matrix
The Matrix(1999)

Amazing movie with great special effects and an awesome story to it. It's like the Star Wars of our time. An awesome Sci Fi movie and one of the only movies in which Keanu Reeves is tolerable.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith

I completely loved this movie. The story was awesome, the action was awesome, the women were, well, awesome. It even had Vince Vaughn in it! He's the man!! This is such a great movie I suggest everyone see it as soon as possible if you haven't yet already!

The Godfather

A true classic in every sense of the word. It's currently #1 on IMDB's 100 Greatest Movies of All Time list and for good reason. It truly is. This film contains some of the most memorable scenes of all time, also some of the most imitated lines. I'll bet you that you have at least one friend (if you haven't done so!) who's done an impression of Marlon Brando as Don Corleone. Also, you can't argue that the scene with Michael and the Turk in that restaurant didn't give you goosebumps. This movie is amazing and one everyone should see. It's long but it's brilliant. Mario Puzo was a genius.

The Departed
The Departed(2006)

This movie was, simply put, AMAZING!! Martin Scorcese delivers yet again and finally receives as well!! FINALLY he wins an Oscar. This movie is one of my favorites of all time and one of the best movies of 2006. Jack Nicholson lights up the screen again in his "return to the dark side" and Matt Damon and Leo DiCaprio offer a strong cast as well. The story is solid, the actors and characters are solid, the directing is solid, the dialogue is solid, the score is solid. All in all a solid movie. I can't reiterate that enough! A MUST SEE!!!

This was such an awesome movie! Chris Cooper is amazing in this movie. He's one of the few actors who really doesn't just get in to his part - he BECOMES his part. An amazing and suspenseful movie that did not leave me the least bit disappointed. At times it was very funny too. It left you thinking that Robert Hannsen (who was a real person and did commit these crimes against America) was a sympathtic person. It takes a true talent like Chris Cooper to make you think that!

As Good as It Gets

Jack Nicholson is still one of the most amazing actors to ever grace the silver screen and this movie shows why. He won the Best Actor Oscar for the third time and he absolutely deserved it, taking on the difficult role of the OCD author Melvin Udall. He had some help though with Helen Hunt who was equally as amazing in her role as Jack's love interest - she also grabbed the Best Actress Oscar for her role. This is an AMAZING movie and I think everyone should see it to see how brilliant Jack Nicholson really is.

Dead Silence
Dead Silence(2007)

I was surprised at how scary this movie was!! This was an absolutely crazy movie. Maybe it really scared me because of my old childhood fear of ventriloquist dolls (Thanks to RL Stein - Night of the Living Dummy) or maybe because it truely was downright scary! The story was a little silly but that doesn't matter in a horror movie! What matters is I got scared! I got what I paid for! See this if you have a fear of dolls like I do!

Shrek the Third

Didn't quite give me what I wanted in this movie. I was expecting some of the same wit and adult humor (mixed with kid humor, of course) as was in the previous movies. What I got was pure kid humor and some really unfunny situations. I was pretty disappointed with this. The animation is still absolutely AMAZING so it's not going to be totally ranked low but the story lacked and that's why I'm giving it the three star rating. I just expected more I guess.

Resident Evil

Why they didn't stick to the game storylines is beyond me. I'm sure the movie would have been 10X better had they used the information they had from the video games. Don't fix what isn't broken!

Fun With Dick and Jane

A good movie with Jim Carrey really returning to his physical comedy roots.

Saving Private Ryan

This is a movie that after seeing it I was convinced people would be watching this movie fifty years from now. I remember I finished watching this and I felt the same way I did after watching the Godfather and Citizen Kane and films of that nature - that this was a true classic and I'm happy that this classic came out when I could see it in the movies. Simply amazing. Spielberg and Hanks at their finest.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

This movie was good because we finally see that Anakin Skywalker definitely possesses some traits that will eventually lead to him becoming Darth Vader and it also showcases Anakin and Padme's love affair that must be kept secret. The fight between Yoda and Count Dooku is amazing - who knew Yoda had it in him?! My second favorite of the "new" trilogy - Revenge is my favorite.

Little Man
Little Man(2006)

This movie was funny at times... but then it was incredibly stupid at times. I could tolerate it because I like Wayans' Brothers movies but this one wasn't their best. Don't Be A Menace is still my favorite of them all!

The Wizard of Oz

Talk about one of the greatest films in the history of cinema! This movie captivated me as a child and still, to this very day, captivates me. A wonderful and timeless movie with unbelievable actors, characters, songs and sets. This is a movie probably everyone on earth has seen and if they haven't they should see it before they die.

The Graduate
The Graduate(1967)

I can see why this movie was such a breakthrough in film making in the 1960s. It was absolutely groundbreaking I'd imagine, with the story and the characters and the camera shots. Everything. Extremely powerful movie and shows why Dustin Hoffman is one of the great living actors of all time.

Akeelah and the Bee

Who would've thought a movie about a girl in a spelling bee would be so movie and suspensful?!?! This is seriously up there as one of the greatest and most inspiring movies I've ever had the privilage of seeing. Keke Palmer is wonderful and so is Laurence Fishburne, surprisingly (though he's now lost some points in my book for being the voice of the Silver Surfer). A definite must see!!

This movie was really good. It definitely gets you thinking about a definite conspiracy on the JFK assassination. However, some of the theories and events are over the top - I understand the need for creative license, but still! Also, three hours and twelve minutes is a bit much just for Costner to lose in the end.

Mr. Brooks
Mr. Brooks(2007)

Man was I surprised by this movie! This movie was AMAZING!! It had a solid story (unrealistic but it was awesome anyway) and awesome characters. Definitely my favorite Kevin Costner movie since Tin Cup. I really wasn't expecting this movie to be so awesome. Dane Cook was amazing as well. This is a very smart and thrilling movie and I really enjoyed myself. Even William Hurt as the devil/Mr. Brooks' conscience wasn't horrible. See this!!

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope

You just can't beat the original. Star Wars is a movie (and series) you just have to love. You can't argue the cultural impact it had on this country nor can you argue the groundbreaking special effects this movie contained. George Lucas is a genius and this movie proves it, as do the rest of them. Star Wars is a must see for all science fiction fans and for people who like a good action movie.

Wow was I surprised at how awesome this movie was. Sure, it contained a lot of the same ideas used in Hitchcock's "Rear Window", but I think this movie showcased just how much these kinds of movies haven't yet gone out of style. The story was good and so were the characters and the thrills were definitely there. This movie will definitely get your heart racing.

Shrek 2
Shrek 2(2004)

This movie was incredible. Maybe even better than the first. Definitely on par. This movie is packed with humor (both kid and adult) and contains a wonderful story with incredibly lovable characters. Dreamworks hit another homerun with this movie.

The Queen
The Queen(2006)

My goodness did I catch some flack from my friends for seeing this movie haha. I have to admit, this movie was absolutely brilliant. Helen Mirren hands down DESERVED to win the Best Actress Oscar for this. Amazing movie, amazing acting, amazing story. A definite must see.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

There have been two movies in the history of cinema that I've ever walked out of - this was one of them (Black Hawk Down was the first, if you were wondering). This movie was so bad on so many different levels. The Silver Surfer is a huge douche bag and not because he's supposed to be a bad guy. The Thing was annoying with his one liners and The Human Torch was annoying with, well, everything he did. The plot was absolutely horrible. They could have done so much with this but they failed. I wish I could give this a zero rating. If you want to waste money at the movie theater, see this. If not, wait for the DVD. Just make sure you get a friend to rent it so they feel stupid for renting it. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!

The Hills Have Eyes 2

Sucked, just like the first one did. This was one of the worst remakes ever so they come out with a second one that's even worse. Ditch this garbage.

The Reaping
The Reaping(2007)

What a disappointment this movie was. I was so excited to see this because it looked so good and normally Hillary Swank isn't in anything that isn't good - I should have thought back to when she was in The Black Dahlia, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Everything about it was terrible. See it at your own risk.

Hostel Part II

Disappointing to say the very least. Not even close to being as good as the first one... but the first one wasn't that awesome either. It was better than this, however. Nothing makes sense in these movies. It's just overly unbelievable. Yes, I know, I'm big on telling people to suspend their imaginations when it comes to movies... but this was stupid.

Knocked Up
Knocked Up(2007)

What an awesome movie!! I was expecting it to be hilarious but stupid but I was wrong. Not only was it hilarious but it also had a really nice story to it. I was extremely impressed. Also, it wasn't as raunchy as I thought it would be, and that's a good thing. The whole movie was really touching and I would definitely see it again. Definitely up there as one of my all time favorites.

Hannibal Rising

I made the unfortunate error of buying this movie on DVD, knowing that it was buried by critics and everyone who saw it, just because I liked the way the box looked. What a waste of money. The story was ridiculous but the killings were cool so it wasn't a total waste. Whoever played Hannibal Lecter was awesome and I give that kid a lot of props. Hopefully this is the last Lector movie to come out.

White Chicks
White Chicks(2004)

Not a total favorite of mine, really. I saw it so I can say I saw it. It was funny at times but then at times I was asking myself why I was watching it.

Ocean's Thirteen

I absolutely loved this movie. All the Ocean movies are so smart and suave and this one does not fail to impress. Al Pacino only added to this movie's brilliance. Al Pacino will always be the man. This movie is a definite must see for people who like smart movies.

One of the greatest movies of our time! The special effects were breakthrough, the story is unparallelled, and the actual event is unforgetable. I don't like how this film gets lambasted now by people just because it won so many awards but to them I say GET OVER IT!! Everyone must see this movie. It's great.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Definitely my favorite of the "new" trilogy. The special effects, even though they're in every shot, therefore not really "special", are unprecidented. The story is a little hokey, but that's Star Wars and that's what made it what it is so I take no points away for the cheesiness. It's a great movie and really connects all the pieces of the puzzle: the new trilogy to the old one. The saga is complete!!!

The Incredibles

I was blown away at how great this movie was. I was expecting some stupid little cartoon but what I got was a great story, great characters, and great animation. A total package when it comes to animated movies. A definite must see!

Donnie Darko
Donnie Darko(2001)

I'm still trying to figure this movie out!! It's pretty awesome though! I'm going to watch it a few more times and generate a real opinion.

Awesome movie. This will always be my favorite of the three Spiderman movies. A total must see movie.

A classic in every sense of the word! Rocky is a must see movie and the TRUE underdog movie of all time.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

This was really good. I didn't see any of the LOR movies in the theaters but I saw the extended editions. Sure, this one was four hours and took me a few days to watch but it was amazing. I hated having to pause the movie to do other things. But, sometimes, you have to do what you have to do. The story is amazing. Definitely my favorite LOR movie from the trilogy. I'm going to read the book!

Scary Movie
Scary Movie(2000)

Stupid but funny all at the same time. I like a movie like that - a movie that can do it right. Some movies can't. Check this out.
