I finally got around to seeing this one, and this movie serves as a reminder of how Australian films are the best at portraying the Wasteland.
Jennifer just watched this with me for the first time.
A lot of people--including critics--are saying that this is better than the last one. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm the only one who thinks that this one is even worse. Nothing in the story makes sense. Every character is one-dimensional. The special effects are awful. The song list took me out of the movie. Each and every line in the script is expository.
So far, this is easily the worst movie I've seen all year, and I'm including Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. I'll sit through BVS before I ever watch this piece of crap again.
The next episode of #CinematicSushi is going to cover this movie, so even though I had no desire to see it after the first one in the current timeline, it ended up feeling like a homework assignment. Keep checking back to my Facebook/Twitter/Instagram this week for that episode. If you haven't seen it, don't bother. If you want to know why you shouldn't, listen in. If you have seen it and need catharsis, listen in too.
