It has been a long time coming and there it is.We have it! The black panther!
What I really like about this movie is how it elevate the super heroes genre. It isn't just dumb fun ,there is a story.Obviously ,It isn't the dark night but it has its moment at time the story is so engrossing you forgot it is a super heroes movie. And all of this without losing the fun making marvel movie so unique. This is clearly one of the best marvel movie to ever come out and it's stand up there with the Avengers, Captain America TWS and Captain America CW.The message and the struggle are truly heartfelt and it all pays off at the end with a very empowering message on all front .That being said ,At time the CGi could be annoying and more practical effects especially in the last fights would have improved the overall experience. Also ,The second half of the first act feels lagging at some point, but not to the point of losing us entirely and it kick off right again in the second act up to the very end. This is a good movie and very well made .it will certainly stand the test of time. Hat off to everyone who participated in it especially the director. i am not sure the movie would have been as great without his involvement.Make sure you are going to see it is worth your time and money ! Enjoy!
Half the questions we have from the previous opus are not answered and those that are failed at doing so properly and organically.in the same way half of the main new characters we discovered in TFA are useless and lack development and consistency while the old ones aside from Karine fisher are poorly used(anakin..:( ).About the plot itself it goes no where and has too many inconsistencies with TFA and we still don't have the background explaining the fight going on between the first order and the republic. It's very disappointing as I was expecting way more.further on It looks like there is no real plan or even main story already established .I was expecting way more...if it wasn't for the direction, the world building ,some of the action and the acting..this would be forgettable. the movie is fairly well made but it is too inconsistent with the star wars mythos and the TFA to be enjoyable and rewarding in any way. I had many problem with The force awaken especially when it comes to the plot but at the very least it was exiting and cohesive about its characters and never boring....star wars the last Jedi however with few moment put aside.....
overall lets say that it is a well made movie but unless star wars for you is a religion no one should criticize you can miss it and watch it at home.I wonder how they are gonna finished this trilogy.
without saying it is as good as the original,Jumanji welcome to the jungle is funny, packed with some good actions and surprisingly touching and meaningful. All the family can effectively enjoy it.I did .
Baby driver is short on the story -and kind of a rehash- but not devoid of it.Where it shines through though is in its style, its action direction and characters interaction.Edgar wright has crafted a pure delight and it shows at every turn.Clearly it's different from its previous work and somehow a more serious work but it remains enjoyable throughout and astonishingly fresh and meaningful. Now I would not go as far as to say it is a game changer. It is not but it's a breath of fresh air in the current road map of Hollywood lack of original works.Baby driver is definitively awesome and if you like fine music you ll probably love the soundtrack too. It's a good one ,go for it.
