Probably Audrey Hepburn's finest performance
This is defentaly one of the great screwball comedies of the 30s. The entire cast was fantastic. The writing was flawless. It's too bad this movie isn't as well know as other screwball comedies, probably because it was released in 1939 (Hollywood's greatest year) and it just got overlooked.
Amazing. Bette Davis was great, but it was Olivia de Havilland who really suprised me in this film. She's usually a lady but in this film she's a manipulative monster.
I remember seeing this film when I was like 11. Awesome!
If it had come out ten years earlier then it would have been revolutionary; howerver, because it didn't, it's sort of a cliche. But I do have to say Jamie Bell gives me great hope in the future of films.
