When he hits the right topics Aziz is pretty good. He's funny more often than not here, the Kanye West / R Kelly being highlights. Everything else is a bit hit and miss whereas the extended "Raaaandy" scene at the end didn't appeal to me as I haven't seen Funny People. I would happily watch another stand up of his though.
Pretty good, better than the average animated flicks that seem to come out every month. Whilst not essential viewing if you feel like a Disney feel good flick with flashy visuals and a hearty story you can't go wrong with this.
Considering I don't like Hart or Ferrell this isn't as bad as a feared. That is to say I didn't switch it off before it ended. It's by no means great though. Way too emphasis on rape and dick jokes to be anything other than passable (just).
Just about scraped the rating as 3 stars felt a bit too harsh, this is beautifully shot and well acted, especially by Oscar Isaac. The subject of artificial intelligence isn't an area that particularity interests me and by this point feel done to death in film/TV so maybe others would find the story more gripping. Definitely worth a watch though.
