First of all, this movie is beautiful to look at. It starts off strong. It's interesting enough, but fairly easy to figure out. I felt like the ending was for a different movie that I had seen before... it didn't fit. The characters are mildly interesting as well, until they're not. I think party of the reason I finished it, was simply because of the visuals. What it told me in 2 1/2 hours could have been summed up in half that time. I'm not against long movies, but empty long movies I do not enjoy.
This was exceptional. To see someone's reality like this is powerful. Both Brie and Jacob did a fantastic job. I don't know how anyone could survive something like that. It is very unnerving to think that things like this actually happen.
We just got home from checking this out at the theatre. It was funny! The addition of Gibson and Lithgow was a fantastic idea. Both the husband and I really enjoyed it.
I was excited to see Ted Levine! I did feel like it could've been a little neater, but the story was decent.
Every bit of this movie was great. The Stephen King adaptations are killing it this year!
