Love Songs deals with 3 interlocking stories, a boxer making a sparring deal to secure his family's future, a charasmatic street produce vendor vying for a woman's love even through her rape and a bar owner confronting his brother-in-law's domestic assault. Great acting in an underrated film about love.
Not as bad as I thought it would be, quite honestly. The storyline was pretty decent really and the movie as a whole wasn't too slick. Seth Rogan surprised me quite a bit. Worth a watch or two.
Four interconnected stories all revolving around a phone booth out in the middle of the desert. A mysterious voice offers advice to these people who are all at the end of their ropes somehow. Not a waste of time, but not worth recommending to others, either.
Worse than I figured it would be and that's saying quite a lot! Teens using and more teens using and teens partying and more teens using and that's pretty much the film summed up. Some violence with only a scant hint at some kind of storyline involving White Mike's cousin being murdered and his friend being framed for it. A complete waste of time. One of the worst movies I've seen in a while, even worse than those low-budget 50's horror films I've watched.
